Get Values From Several Textfields OnChange

I have a scenario with 3 x 12 textfields and looking for a javascript that could do the trick.
What I'm looking for is a smart way of extracting the values of the first three textfields and then multiply them. This will be done for all 12 rows.
I then would like to add the result from the 12 rows together to create a final value that will be presented in a seperate textfield.
row1=value1*value2*value3;
row2 =value1*value2*value4; and so on....untill row12.
then row1+row2+...row12
To show you what I mean I've created a small page with 3 x 2 fields at this link: [URL] The idea is then to have 12 rows and not two. Also - it should call for the function onChange.
I guess combind all the values in three seperate arrays, multiply and then add the values together could do the trick, but so far I havn't manage to do this.
Maybe a for(i<12)-code could help.

I'm trying to figure out how I can pass multiple values to my javascript from one selectbox. code...
As you can see the product_id get passed to the javascript, but it is essential that I get the price and color id passed along... Is that possible, and if yes.how?

In our class we were assigned a project to create a Web page with 5 text boxes, each with a value attribute of zero. When the user changes the values, it is supposed to call a caclAvg() function. How do I pass 5 values to the calcAvg() function? It specifically states in our book to create an onChange event handler for each textbox. Wouldn't it be easier to somehow create a variable onChange, then after all 5 textboxes have changed, pass the 5 variables along to the function? I know the following code is a mess, I've tried so many ways now. I'm sure this is an easy, routine procedure for most of you.

I have two basic select lists and I want to automatically submit the values from the first list once they select from the second list using onchange. how to get the multiple values from the first select.
So basically I want them to select a state or states from the first list and in the second list they can choose from some data parameters to query within those zip codes. So once they select data parameter(s)... the onchange should kick in and pass both the zip code selections and data parameters to the getData function.
Trying something like:

By using state.value I get ONE of the select items and not multiple. And I've tried state[] and variations of state[].value or state.value[]... no luck.
The onchange=getData is a function that puts together a URL to get data from another page. So I really need to pass something like state[]=1&state[]=2
Therefore it seems like the state select needs it's own onchange to run a local function that formats this URL string??? then how do I get that value?
I have it working as two completely seperate form elements but I really want to make these two selects one form/step that they have to complete.

I put the following line in the onchange tag of a listbox to use the values to manipulate an iframe:
document.getElementById('viewer').src=('Location_Files/')+(this.value)+('.htm') There it works perfectly but I wanted to do more so I decided to build a function around it:
function display()
{
document.getElementById('viewer').src=('Location_Files/')+(this.value)+('.htm')
}
When I put the function in the onchange tag instead, the iframe tries to work but I get a "can't load page" message like the src is broken. Now when I first made that line it took me hours to figure out that I can't use a "" because if I do it fails. So I went with "/" and that works but I wonder if that rules change when I specify it in the java script instead of in the onchange tag itself. Either way it still breaks if I try to use "".

I'm building a multi-language PHP/mySQL -site. I'm also building a CMS for the site.
There are 5 languages. In the CMS fields for e.g. english
bodytext are called (id=) 'bodytext_en'.
German looks like 'bodytext_ge', etc.
The '_en' part tells us that it's a textfield for english texts.
How can i check if ALL english fields are filled out, without
defining each and every field separately.
Like:

I have a point where the user will get an overlay div, to keep this div centered I move and mess with the CSS property "top". Though, I was testing and when I tabbed into the following textfield, it pushes the div down - as if there is text in the .val() field. (so it keeps going to the "else" statement even just tabbing INTO the field).
Does anyone know how to fix this and keep it from pushing the div down just from tabbing between textfields?

I am trying to query the value of a textfield outside of a form but
with no success so far... the reason why I am not using a form is that
there seams to be an annoying issue with hitting the [Enter] key (at
least in Mozilla) when there is only one textfield in the form... the
[Enter] key seams to trigger some type of a submit... but when the
textfield is defined outside of a form this is not an issue... However
I don't know how to access the value for the textfield outside the

I have a problem with buttons + textfields. I want to change the value/text of several textfields at once, if i click on a button. If i click again, i want to clean the textfields again.
So i made following javascript-function, which should be startet, when i click on the button.

When i use (f.e.) onclick="this.form.name.value="${user.name1}", then there is no problem and i get the right output. But in this way, i can't change the value of all textfields at once and also i can't implement the "clean"-function for the second "click".
I think i use the wrong variable-syntax in the js-function, but i don't know what's wrong there. Is it even possible to get the get the values of the "user"-variable in javascript in this way?

I'm trying to write a function that does a simple math function between some textfields.
There are 4 variables : Unit price, Discount, Quantity and Total
Unit price is a fixed variable.
Discount, Quantity and Total depend on the fixed variable and also on the values of eachother. (ie : if qty=2 then total=2xUnit Price) etc...
I want to be able to show the changing values in real time.
So if I have 3 textfields and I change qty, I want it to update Total based on the discount and the qty. If I update discount, I want to update Total based on qty and discount.
I'm guessing I would have to write three functions and call each one from their respective textfields.
How to write a function, and call it so that passes the unit price to the funtion, gets the values of all of the textfields and then changes them all to their new values?

In a form, how do I have a set of radio buttons with the last one being an other option that shows and hides a textfield depending on if it is selected or not? I have seen how to disable the textfield if the radio button is not selected, but not how to hide it. Is this possible?

I have an html page with a div element within a form for dynamically
creating textfields.
The problem is when I click a link on the page, or the submit button,
then click the back button, the new textfields in the div element are
not there anymore.

Any way to define the length of a textfield? I have just set all the field with a width so that they look like clear and easy to read, However, When I see the page of mac os, They are totally not the result in IE of FF, Does there any way to define it absolutely?

I have a form which looks like so:
I want to prepopulate the value of the two textfields with the field label e.g. Name, Email Address, until the fields are in focus.
I have this working for the Name field:
Obviously I can repeat this code on the email field as well, but wondered if there is a way to make it a function with the label value not hardcoded so I can use the same technique on forms with many fields.

Is there something that will update as soon as the user changes information in a textbox as appose to what onChange does, which is update once the focus has been taken off of the textbox? I am writing a custom cart and I am using AJAX to update the price according to how many they are ordering, I was hoping to have it update the price as soon as the user put in the volume, but it doesnt update until the user clicks somewhere else on the page.

I have 3 TextFields, called txtUSD, txtEUR, txtAUS. And a PopupList with the same values, minus the txt part, but I need to form the names of the TextFields to use based on the selection that the user made. So I've done this:

Can I target the element and base an onChange outside of directly calling it in the element tag?
Due to the nature of my script, the best I can do is wrap a tag around the element.
example of what I am trying to do

I have a list of products where they have minimum quantities in a hidden input. Some products have multiple colours, though the same minimum quantity and I'm trying to implement a jQuery check that entries made are at least equal to the minimum.
Blank or '0' entries are fine but if it's below the minimum quantity it should set to the minimum.

Is there something obviously wrong with this? It isn't performing the minimum check and I'm really not sure why.

In part of my form, I have 3 inputs (one textarea and two text inputs),I am validating their value format using AJAX (each input triggers error message on its label in case format is wrong). Also I have one button, "NOT submit button" (type = button).Now, when clicking on the button it must enter the value of those three inputs in my database in case they are true then all inputs values must be cleared. In case AJAX validation is wrong and in case the user clicked on that button, the value of fields must kept as it is.
Actually I can not use submit button because I have it for the whole form and what I am taking about is a part of the form and it's not possible to make nested forms as I know it violates html rules. It's easy to make it if I am taking about submitting button as I can view session values on fields after submission in case ajax returns error.I can clear inputs from Javascript, but it will be cleared on both cases if AJAX validation true or wrong. Each input field has AJAX Error message that will be triggered when the input format is wrong.

Instead of the Field being mentioned more than once, how can I have it where it could mention the field once with the values coma separated eg:[url]
Would I use JS to change the URL? or VBscript?

I built my company's website and the content portion of the site uses
text with styles with relative values and the navigational part of the
site uses text with styles with absolute values. The purpose of this
was so that the end user could increase the size of the text on the
webpage and only the content portion of the page would scale or resize
but the navigation would not. This works as expected on a pc but the
entire page scales on a MAC. Does MAC not support text with styles the
same as pc so that the only scalable text is that with relative values
(ie: small, x-small, medium, large, etc)? Absolute values conist of
