Disable LiveChat Code Based On Day - Time And Need To Add Holiday Dates
Dec 8, 2009
I have a javascript controlling the display of a DIV that I did a while back that needs a bit more tweaking to add function to hide the DIV on specific holidays. As it is now, by default, the DIV is being hidden unless it is M-F between 8:00AM-6:00PM:
<script type="text/javascript">
Im assuming that I would just add more else if statements, but not really sure the cleanest way to assign specific dates using this format.
This code works except only the last entry of the database table is disabled in the datepicker. I guess $myBadDates = new Array(json[i].start); isn't the right code of creating an array from json? How do I create an javascript array from json?
I'm trying to implement a datepicker that disable the dates from a database. The problem I've is that I don't really understand what must I return. I'm using VB (2010) and SQL Server. To do it fine I'm using JQuery to call a page method that return a value (0 or 1) depending if that date it's or not on the database. The problem I've is that I don't know (I don't understand) how to do the array I must return to the datepicker. I've been looking the page of jquery but I don't understand it at all.
I don't understand what value must val has to make a day available or not...
Where I work there are certain dates where nothing can be done, certain times where work can be done with caution, and dates where work can be done. I want to put on the site a traffic light that would change colours based on the calendar dates where work can/can't be done.
For example, if April 11th there is stuff to do, the traffic light would be green. But April 12th, there isn't work to do, it would turn red. Do you know how I would go about doing this?
I have a requirement to generate a report (tabular view) which displays number of days by Month from Start Date to End Date. Also, total number of days that fall in the range in the corresponding year.
I am looking for a Javascript function as a solution to the above requirement but could not find one.
For example, Start Date: 02/15/2007 End Date: 08/22/2010
Report should be as displayed in the attached text file.
how to get the time and date difference? given two time and date with the following format like in textbox A: 2011-05-03 17:35:47.0 and textbox B: 2011-05-03 16:35:47.0 then the output would be: 0 days, 1 hour, 0 minutes, 0 seconds
in my web application i've disabled all F keys with common script like this below, i use F keys for open some different popups, but only F12 key have problem, if i press F12 first time it run well and open my popup, but if i close it and i immediatly press F12 again it doesn't open my popup but it open developer tool window.It run well only if before i click with mouse onto the page, but i do not have to use the mouse.

above is the code of quiz which is created in php. that quiz is fine. the problem in in js script above the php script. what i want is when the time of 5 mins is completed then i want to disable all those radio buttons except submit button.
working on a project at the minute but have dug a hole in javascript for myself on this one. The objective was to use cookies to save a form whilst a file was being upload at the same time on the same page.To get the filename for the uploading mp3 file inserted into the user current form which then is posted on submit to a directory where its viewable for download, the page must refresh and a query string is used to put the uploaded files name into the form.What i wanted though was the user to be able to write out there tracklist whilst there file was being uploaded so they can make the most of the time and do 2 things at once.Getting round this was ok using cookies to remember the forms input values and restoring them once the page had refreshed.
The problem is thought the cookie script will only write once to file if the text box that gets updated with a new value being the uploaded file value changes,to get round this i wanted to disable the radio button that saves the form upon change of the default value of the mirror1_url text input as the upload session is complete and the user would not need to recall the cookies values.a working version with the above problem can be found here http://urban-love.co.uk/uploads/userupload.phpim sure its only a few lines of script you can see I have implemented one in the page already see view source but it takes no effect in this form for some reason?
I am new to javascript stuff but am looking to develop a form which includes 2 drop down menus but I would like to grey out some options in the second one based on the selection in the first. Basically this is a simplification of what I have:
What I would like is that if south or east are selected for orientation then I can only select front left or front right but if north or west are selected then only rear left or rear right are available.
I use javascript on my business website to show the visitor what time it is in Hawaii.The question I have is whether the time that is displayed on the visitor's screen would be affected by Daylight Savings Time (unlike most of the country, Hawaii doesn't have DST)? I am assuming the time shown on the visitor's screen is adjusted based on GMT and not the time it is in their local time zone. Unforunately I do not understand javascript well enough to know for sure this is true.If it isn't true (and the time shown is based on the visitor's local time zone) then I need to change something before DST begins in March.
I have searched and found lots on enabling/disabling form inputs, but nothing that matches my needs.
I have a form with a dropdown with values 0-4. If value 0 is selected I want the checkboxes to be disabled. If value 1-4 is selected I want the checkboxes to be enabled.
Code: <html> <head><title>Disable with Dropdown Test</title> <script> function num_check(sel,cb) {
I have an array of list boxes. I need them to become disabled if the first one is checked (with an id of disabler_0), and I need them to be enabled if that box is unchecked. Right now it doesn't work.
What I'm trying to do is a script that print a text, based on what the time is. I need different text (It's going to be 4 numbers, i.e 8328). I.E:
01.00 -> 01.59 = text1 02.00 -> 02.59 = text2
etc etc.. It must be all 24 hours of the day. I've been googling since 3 hours back now, and I don't think I can find anything relative to this, as it looks right now.
I'm working on a site for our radio station and want it to load a banner where you can see who the DJ is that is on. I saw code on here yesterday (actually it was from March, but I just found it yesterday and can't today) to do it, it showed two images at different times but I couldn't get it to work and don't know enough about java to add more time slots.
I have looked and looked and looked but i can't find what i'm looking for. I need a progress bar that counts down and shows the time inside the bar as it is counting down. it doesn't have to be fancy it just has to work. what i'm doing now is a periodic update using ajax and then changing the size of a bar in css. it works but it is not ideal. does anyone know where i can find a tutorial for creating a countdown bar? it can be jQuery or just javascript i'm getting half decent at both.
I am in need of changing the class of a number of divs for a specific loop in one of my clients' pages. My javascript skills and knowledge, however, are direly lacking, and I see myself in the unfortunate position of trying to take on more than I can handle.
What I want is a function that runs on page load, ad eternum, changing the class of #foo into .bar and into .foobar alternatively, every X seconds.
