I have this code that when just enclosed in a <script> works:..dto = new window["imenus_data"+(x2=x2.substring(6))];but when i put this code in a class and access the function:
rote a bunch of Javascript classes for this framework I'm working on and want to be able to create instances of the class using just it's name string. For example: Given the following class
Somehow, the isLoaded property doesnt seem to be set to true when i create an instance of the class. I tryied passing the object instance through an argument ... this.xml.onload = this.fileLoaded(this) ... MyClass.prototype.fileLoaded(obj){ obj.isLoaded = true;}
I'm creating a javascript class that draws triangles for a project I'm working on (none of the other vector solutions for triangles were satisfactory so I'm writing my own).
Anyway here is a small snippet of code:
Code:
The idea of the code is to create a small div in the middle of the triangle that a user can click on, pretty basic stuff.
Problem with highlighted code is, on their own they work, together they dont.
IE, if I only set the LEFT of the div, it moves across the screen to required position.
If I only set the TOP of the div, it moves down the screen to the required position.
But BOTH together (as above) just make the div dissapear somewhere. Weird.
I am probably going about this all wrong, but I'm not sure how to do this.Basically I need to create a unique variable name for each element that has the same class name and set each one to zero.I thought I could just concatenate the index value to a variable name to create unique names. Something like:
$('.toggle-trigger').each(function(){ var toggleTriggerIndex = $('.toggle-trigger').index(this); var t + toggleTriggerIndex = 0;

I'm trying to create a new validation rule to check if a button has a class. I try to explain the scenario. I have a button that makes an ajax call to check the availability of a product. When the app loads the button as class "to_check", when the button is clicked an ajax call is fired, a server script return the availability of the product and basing on this answer I change the class of the button from "to_check" to "ok" or "ko". Now I want to validate the button to se if the availability is being checked and is ok, then I wrote this:
Now I want to add this rule to the button with the metadata plugin inside the class name with this syntax: <pre id="line175"><span id="__firefox-tidy-id" style="background-color: rgb(221, 221, 255);"><<span class="start-tag">input</span><span class="attribute-name"> type</span>=<span class="attribute-value">"button" </span><span class="attribute-name">name</span>=<span class="attribute-value">"verifica_disponibilita" </span><span class="attribute-name"> .....
I have got a page on my website which has a log-in button, when this button is clicked I want a window to pop-up which enables the user the login. After the have typed in their username and password and it has been confermed I want the popup window to close.Now I know this bit is possible, but I would like to take it further if possible:This leaves the user on the page where they clicked the log-in button. After the log-in window closes I want this page to change to another page (not loading another window). SO at the end of it the user hasn't had to open or close any windows and they end up with only one window open.
I know the first bit is possible but I am not sure about the second bit.I would like to know if this is possible and how to do it.
I am trying to figure out a way to do a pop up window with out having a pop up killer kill the pop up. My goal is to open a chat window up when they press on a button but sometimes it doesn't work because of pop up killers.
I have a main window in which there is a link opening popup. In newly opened window there are links that allow to insert some HTML with form elements ( button) in the parent window document. The problem is when user closes popup window the added button is inactive (action assigned to it doesnt work) What is more the problem exists in IE, in FF code works quite well.The code inserting new elements to parent window is below.[code]
1. the 1st popup should open automatically and open a URL 1 2. then after 30sec the popup should close 3. then 2nd pop up window should appear and open URL2 4. then after 30sec the popup should close and so on
can any body help me with this please. I really need it.Or it can be like this also,The 1st popup should open automatically and open a URL1 then, after 30sec it should open URL2 and after 30 sec open URL3 and so on in the same popup.
I'm relatively new to javascript. I want to create an editable text window popup. Upon writing a free text the user should have an option to save or clear the text. He should be able to save the text in a predefined location locally. How can this be done in javascript.
hey when i open a popup window by javascript it is an usual window though some customizable like whether displaying menubar, displayed position and some other options. but i want to createpopup windows like facebook popup windows which is nice,thin and immovable.
Anyone know how to create this in JS? User clicks on a link, the link opens a new window with new webpage AND the page that had the link then changes to a new webpage as well. So end the end that link takes the user to two new pages. For instance, I am on PageA.html and I click an <a href="">Link</a>. Link take me to a newly targeted page called PageB.html. Then at the same time PageA.html turns into PageC.html.
I have a website, two divs. The right div is fixed position.However when the user browser window, is less than the height of the div, i need it to be no longer fixed, but to scroll with the rest of the page.I imagine the logic to be the following:
-detect div#right height
-if window-height is less than div#right height. change div class to xxx
-if window-height is greater than div#right height. div class stays at yyy
(must update window-height everytime window is resized)
Is there a way to setup in the header that all links on a page with class="myclass" will default to a small popup window with X parameters and size? So I don't have to do an onclick on each <a href>??
My code: [URL]... When I click on UpraviƄ in class edit I need add some HTML code to begin and to end of class entry how to I can select class entry in the same class post on which I clicked?
I read about window object and specifically about creating popup windows. The code below produces a popup window when a link is clicked:
Code JavaScript: var Survey = { init: function() { var surveyLink = document.getElementById("survey"); Core.addEventListener(surveyLink, "click", Survey.clickListener); }, [Code]....
I would like to add a "Close Window" button on survey.html page and when that button is clicked, the window would close. How do I do that? I know that I should use (reference to popup window).close(), but how and where do I attach even listener to that button?
I have a huge blob of code but the main part I am focusing on is this
$('.billboard_click').click(function () { //this remove class $(".billboard_click").removeClass("billboard_click"); });
1. Execute a click event when the div with the class 'billboard_click' is clicked
2. Once clicked, remove the class from that very div to avoid another click from happening
3. Execute a series of events such as animations, etc
4. add the class back to the clicker div
The code does not seem to work as expected but I am wondering if I am having issues elsewhere at this point and wonder if this actually is known to work
So I create a class: function cMap(mapID){//vars and stuff}
I go and prototype a function: cMap.prototype.loadMap = function(){ //jquery AJAX call }
Now in the jquery $.ajax({...}); call, I use an anonymous function on the "success:" call: success: function(data){ this.member = data; }
My problem is that inside this anonymous function call I'm trying to call a class member of my cMap class to store the data in from the AJAX call, but it's out of scope. So the JS console in FF/Chrome throws errors about bad value/doesn't exist.
How can I access this class member from inside an anonymous function? Or at least what's a good way to go about doing all this?
I am new to this discussion but hope you would post reply for my query and encourage me to keep in touch with this discussion. Well here is my problem. I have made an edit in place form in which we can add and remove the elements. I have used jquery.jeditable.mini.js and jquery.duplicate-remove.js plugins for edit in place and add and remove action. I have live() function to access the dynamically ganerated elements like this. $(".addressDiv span").live("mouseover", function(){ clickable function here...
CONDITIONS:If a person selects a Friday Class but not a Saturday Class the Total Cost Field will automatically enter $99.If a person selects a Saturday Class but not a Friday Class the Total Cost Field will automatically enter $99 as well.If a person selects both a Friday & Saturday Class the Total Cost field will automatically be $159.I found the following code and so far only have it changing when a Friday class is entered. I have no idea where to go from here
