Creating Next / Previous Buttons?
Dec 17, 2010i got a video page, which has images in it, each image is a link to a different video, i want to make it so when 2 lines of images reached, there'll be a button named Next (or anything, doesn't matter) to lead to the Next page of images, note that i want only the part iwth the images to change while using those buttons, not the whole page,the images are built in this way :

Creating Some Simple Form Buttons
Jul 29, 2007I'm quite novice at javaScript but I have a good background in other similar languages, so I find I pick up things quick. Basically I'm planning on reading through some more solid resources on this topic, but I'm kinda under the pump at the moment for something that I imagine wouldn't be too difficult with a lil nudge in the right direction.
I have a form (using PHP) to update a mySQL database AND XML for flash, for a simple news page. At the moment I have the BBcode style of tags ([b][eb]). I was wondering how I can make a rich editor myself with just three buttons (one for italic, one for bold, one for links) that displays the text on screen to the user as WYSIWYG, and outputs the [b] [eb] tags for my PHP code.

The loadNewVideo method currently does nothing. According to the API I need to use the getElementById in order to call the API methods. How do I incorporate that to make the methods work? Also, the API says I need to have a javascript function called onYouTubePlayerReady on my HTML page, which I've tried to incorporate based on seeing it used in someone else's code, but I'm pretty sure I'm not doing it right. How and where should this really incorporated?
I've been able to get the video to play when I exchange apiplayer in the URL with the YouTube video ID, and the play, pause, and stop links will control the video. However I'm having trouble incorporating the API methods loadNewVideo, cueNewVideo, etc.
Radio Buttons - Creating A Form For A Registration
Jun 1, 2009I am creating a form for a registration that asks the participant if they have completed pre-requisite training. There are three questions they are asked. When they click yes, the text box for the requested information is enabled, when they click no, they get a warning that they need to register first.

The first one works fine (the SERE training question), however, the second one does not function at all. What am I missing to enable the second question to function like the first.

Feb 21, 2011I cannot believe this is NOT possible but thus far, I've scoured the web for hours looking for an easy way to make a radio button about 10 times larger than it normally is, and make it use custom colors. For example, I'd like to use custom images for the "selected" "unselected" and forgo the normal radio button entirely. However, I'm hoping to keep the radio button as an input method in the HTML, since jQuery has some super useful tools to manipulate input via radiobutton (or other selectors).

Mar 5, 2007I'm writing a web server and an Ajax-y web UI for an embedded system. My server is just plain dumb and quite resource constrained and right now I have code in the server to skip over all the POST header fields. I'd rather not use bandwidth to send them and CPU to skip them. Can I minimize my request header? I was looking to do something like:

But I haven't found a reliable way to get the header fields. Maybe I haven't looked hard enough. Pointers...?
Creating A Popup Login Window
Aug 6, 2006I have got a page on my website which has a log-in button, when this button is clicked I want a window to pop-up which enables the user the login. After the have typed in their username and password and it has been confermed I want the popup window to close.Now I know this bit is possible, but I would like to take it further if possible:This leaves the user on the page where they clicked the log-in button. After the log-in window closes I want this page to change to another page (not loading another window). SO at the end of it the user hasn't had to open or close any windows and they end up with only one window open.
I know the first bit is possible but I am not sure about the second bit.I would like to know if this is possible and how to do it.
