I have 2 different groups of buttons: one with only radio buttons and the other has radio bottons and some checkboxes. But when I click the checkboxes, I cannot see their value in the email. Any thoughts? Also I have some buttons with no email value available. How can I avoid showing the value of the "none" in the Outlook email window?
I would like to code a couple of scripts for saving various data into cookies, and then post them to e-mail through a cgi script. To be more clear, I want to save some questionare's answers given through a series of html pages, to cookies. When (and if) the last question is answered, send all the answers to an e-mail address.
So that I can pass multiple checkbox values to my PHP processing script as an array I added the square brackets to my form's checkbox input element's name, like this: <input type="checkbox" name="checkGroup" value="'.$rowIDs.'" /> Because it has to match, I updated the input element I use to check/uncheck all the checkboxes so that it now looks like this: <input type="checkbox" name="all" onClick="checkAll(document.ResIDsDates.checkGroup,this)" />
When I manually select multiple checkboxes I can successfully pass any number of checkbox values through the POST array to my process script...but my Check/Uncheck All box has ceased working -- adding the square brackets to the checkbox input's name disabled it.
I tried playing with the ASCII equivalents to the brackets, but no go. Is there a way to retain the array functionality and pass multiple checkbox values to the script AND enable the Check/Uncheck All box?
Last week after much searching, I found the answer to my problem in this newsgroup. I can't find the thread from which I got my solution, but I wanted to report back what worked.
When the site visitor fills out the form and submits it, this calls a rather ordinary asp script like formmail.asp that sends the emails and displays a "thank you" web page. At the very end of my "thank you" web page I placed the following:

I've found a snippet of code on one of the js websites that creates trailing text behind the mouse. Works fine in a website, but I can't make it work in an email. No spam intentions, just fun amongst friends. I dropped the code between the <head> tags, just like with a website, but no joy. Should js work in an email? If so, any suggestions?
