What I'm wondering is if the '.elements[i]' part of the above function automatically refers to the array created by the form. I didn't know that forms could automatically be referred by the elements dom without having a name or an id assigned to it. Does a form, when created, automatically assign its values/buttons into an array that can be referred by DOM?
1- Need to display three values on the screen as the user fills a form: total, required deposit and final balance. I managed to display the total but I can�t make the form to show automatically the two other values (deposit, final balance) unless I ask the user to click on buttons, which is not desirable since $ does not change automatically for deposit and final payment if user clicks on another radio button before sending the form.
2- Need to send to an e-mail the values of total, deposit and final balance, along with the choices the user made (ex: "Quad" and "Med"). I only managed to send the choices, not the totalled values.Here is the code I wrote (for demo purpose, I only put 2 choices vis-a-vis radio buttons):

I am creating a form dynamically using javascript.The form is created successfully. After creating the form before submitting the form i would like to make some check points before submission.so while creating the form i am adding the event on submit=call function for validation .THe function is called successfully but i am unable to retreive the form values in the validation script
'm having a very hard time making this work and be happy in both IE and Firefox. Basically, I'm setting a timeout to get an array of the form values if not present, or compare against if they are present, and if any change in values, submit the form to auto-save it.
below is my coding, basically I am using document.forms[thisformname].elements - but that gives me a lot of things that are NOT form fields and I just need to read input:text, input:checkboxk, input:radio, textarea, and select elements - nothing more. I'm open to any suggestions and some of you smart guys could probably write this in half the lines I did.

I want to be able to get the results of what the user has selected in all three drop downs and place it into a single text field eg. if a user selects Male then Dog then Australia. The text field updates either on change or on submit to what the user has selected.
In our ordering system, we have to type in various values for several items at a time. This means in one single form, for one order, we could be typing in a batch number 4 or 5 times. I can valiadate this easy enough with Javascript when there is only 1 line. But what if there is more than 1?
With PHP you add [] to the end of the form element's name. But how do I get javascript to work with this?

Basically, the batch number, expiry date and pallet/box number is mandetory. If they arn't entered, it needs to fail (return false). It doesn't seem to be doing anything, just moving on to the next part which is checking other parts of the form which isn't repeated.

So if I add 1 rows, I get 2 text boxes with the ID of 1-medication as I already have a row in place (static) This works fine. However when I try to get the value of 1-medication, I thought I'd get something like value1,value2 but instead I just get value1 If I change the function above to putput a text box with ID of 2-medication, I can get the value of that by itself just fine. why if I have more than 1 item with the same ID, I can't concatenate each value?

I was wondering how to write the following, using the redirect or replace: I want to make a sort of automated slideshow, only with web pages.
you would have an array of URL's (say 10). I have a main frame containing an iFrame, in which the URL's should appear, one after the other, with a delay of say 5 sec. so, it would instruct "redirect to this URL, wait 5 seconds, then redirect to the next in the array automatically, till the end of array.
Also, it would be cool if you could set the delay time specifically for each loaded URL...?
Right now, after 5 seconds, it redirects to google...
The following is a popup form that works exactly as I want but I now need to get the values of each text box added when a user clicks the 'Add' button and pass the values back the opener form into a textarea.
I want to create an associative array dynamically pulling the index values from an array (propertyArray); Associative array is created inside create function and then returned. But after it is returned, I cant use index names to retrieve values. It returns undefined as below code shows.

When submitting a form, I would like to check the values of some fields first. These fields are dynamically generated by javascript after the page has loaded (that is, a user selected a value from a dropdown between 1 and 10, if 2 is selected, 2 inputs are generated, if 7 is selected, 7 inputs are generated etc). I think I understand that Jquery isn't aware of these items because they were created after the DOM was scanned. Is there any way I can 'refresh' jquery to make it aware of these new items?
Finally i got what i want but whar is missing is how how can i get those dynamically textboxes / Dropdowns strored or capture and stored into a database table.Un employee can go and select projects he is working on then the current 6 months time assignment to this project: each row or line is 1 project with respectibe assignment time.

The problem is that the if (pdfs2[j] == pdfs[i]) statement ends up never being true. There are URL's to pdf files in the array. On the other side, if there is a much easier way to select unique values from an array, please feel free to point it out.
I recently wrote this slider function which automatically detects margin-top CSS values, then offsets the desired div, then simultaneously slides and fades the div in using jQuery's animate() function. It seems to work well with only one div. However if I set it up to slide multiple divs, I am having an issue I cannot figure out.

My issue is this. The #header div slides in great. After a set delay, the #about div slides in. I want each div to slide in separately, one after another. However, when the #about div slides in, it seems to affect the #header element. When the #about div is in motion, I do not want the #header element to move.

But there is a litle problem that i'm unable to fix... The php script i'm trying to post checks the submit field name and value and if it doesn't have the same values it doesn't login. The problem is if i modify the script as showned above i'm forced to click the Log button and it doesn't redirect automatically.
I am running through a MySQL database using PHP and extracting all of the makes of cars in that database and trying to create a JavaScript array named after each make. Then I am trying to fill each array will all of the models for that make. When I just try to display each Make and Model in an alert box it seems to come up right. And my arrays seem to be getting created but they won't populate with the models (even though my alert msg shows the loops and everything is working).

Haven't used JavaScript since a college class a couple of years ago and haven't used it in the real world for even longer. Never with PHP like this. But I am working on this marketing site and need to be able to list products by type according to each brand and as they can be added to a MySQL database it needs to be dynamic. I have the whole thing working by stepping through separate pages using PHP to populate select fields with the data but I want to be able to dynamically add the content to select field using JavaScript so it can all be done on one page and thought that if I could create these arrays on page load then the right information could be selected client side.
I am dynamically creating page elements by looping through an array and adding them to the DOM. Each element has an action that should be performed when it is clicked. This action (or a reference to it) determined by the current array value as well. Because the code called in the onclick handler is not executed until the event fires, the value of the current array item (at the time the onclick handler is attached) is not preserved resulting in the expected behavior not happening.Here is an extremely simplified example of the problem I'm facing:
