Can someone clue me in on this? I just noticed that following doesn't work as it used to:
window.open(... "fullscreen=yes" ...)
Used to get a window that occupied the whole screen; now I get thetitle bar and status bar too.
I'm using Chrome15.0.874.102 beta-m, but this problem has been occurring since some old versions...I'm trying to open a popup with window.open, and I'm putting "fullscreen=no", but the window is opening always in fullscreen! And the size of the popup isn't higher than my monitor resolution.Here's the main code:

I am looking for an option to resize a non fullscreen window into fullscreen mode.
JavaScript provides the well-known method "window.open(fullscreen=yes, ...)" to render fullscreen windows. However, I don't want to open a new window but rather want to resize a window ...in my case ones a user has clicked a button.
I've just installed Netscape 7.1 for Linux and the following script
refuses to open a window when I call this function:

Now I switched to mozilla 1.4 and the window doesn't popup.

I am trying to use the following javascript function to open a new window. It works fine for IE browsers, but not Mozilla.

I have a domain name registration field that links to a reseller storefront and then searches for that domain name. I would like the storefront to open in a new window, instead of the parent window. I have tried to insert the target="blank tag but can not seem to get it to work. Is there another way to make that window open? This is my favourite way of doing things. The problem is that Chrome wont do a window.open launched from a set timeout. (buttons are an image background that shows just half of the image at a time) But its nerfed if i cant get it to work on 0.00005% of the browsers that visits the sites! (ive come to really dislike chrome)

Using Firefox 3, trying to use a confirm box where it says ok or cancel. The box shows up to confirm ok or cancel but if I click cancel it doesnt seem to return false, it just goes to the link of the url set in href. Im including the js file in the page:

Opacity is affected but not zIndex. I can change zIndex the normal way though:

it was working fine when i viewed it using my local host but when i uploaded it to the server it doesn't want to work anymore. i made sure all the files are in the proper folder and so on..still no progress. Then uploaded the original or "demo folder" i got from this site and it works, but my site doesnt. I combined 2 jquerys btw, one apycom jquery and one booklet jquery.
