JQuery :: Uncheck And Check (re-check) A Radio Input On Page Load?
Oct 4, 2011Here is the HTML: [URL] I'm trying to uncheck the selected radio button, then set the value to 1 (Yes), basically overwriting theinitialvalue to 1. I've looked at prop(), val(), and attr(), and just don't know where to start. Should I select $('#set_q157 input') or$('#set_q157 input:radio'), or each individual radio?
Do I need to each them, and check if its checked, then change its value, or is there a way to select all three inputs as just one radial button? It would also need to work if the input has not yet been checked.

The form doesn't select any radio box by default, because I don't want to influence the users choice or let them submit the box at all without doing anything.
The form is a simple 5 star rating which means there are 5 radio boxes and a submi button.

Radio Buttons To Perform Simple Calculations?

The colum totals would change to: 2, 0, 1 and the total would be 3
I basically need the total of each column and the total overall. The value should be taken from the actual "VALUE".
Simple Way To Check If Form Elements Have Changed
Oct 12, 2007I have a form with many fields... the fields are getting values from a
database.
I've tried onunload to just submit the form regardless of changes or
not but onunload and submit isn't working for me. Now I need some
type of event that will fire when a user tries to navigate from a page
to check to see if anything has changed and if so prompt them
(confirmation) to take action or not.
I know that the reset button only takes away anything that was added
to fields after the load so there must be some way to use the logic of
reset to simply check to see if fields have changed, right?

Jul 9, 2007have multiple radio check buttons, and one of them, if checked, changes a div to a drop down menu.
The problem is I can't find a way to go back the way it was before clicked.

The question is - how can i make radio button name="2" selected even after pressing preview.
Radio And Check Boxes Problems

There are two radio buttons at the top, in the middle there is a text box, with the search button next to it, and at the bottom there are four check boxes. When the form loads one of the two radio buttons are selected as the default, what i want is when someone clicks on one of the four checkboxes, one of the two radio buttons are deselected. The user is able to select all 4 checkboxes if he/she wishes, but if they click on a check box, the radio button, depending on which one is

May 20, 2010I have a form with x questions (the questions come from a database, so the number of questions is variable). Each question needs to be answered with a number form 1 to 10, I do this using radio buttons. The name if those radio buttons is "name" followed by the id of the question in the database. Because the name is variable and the number of questions is variable, how can I check if all the questions are answered i.e. one radio button must be checked for every group of radio buttons.

Jun 21, 2010I have a form that will dynamically place a number of radio button groups on the page. I don't want the user to be able to submit the form until a value has been chosen for ALL fields. I have hidden the submit button with the though of showing it again once ALL fields have been checked. My code so far...

This doesn't work as expected. It shows the submit button when any of the radio buttons are clicked.

I would rather have the customer choose what they wish rather than force an initial choice. I have been toying with radio buttons but trying to validate them and keep them off initially is quite difficult. Would I be better off using check boxes instead? Apr 15, 2009java and i am having trouble getting radio buttons , check boxes and pull down lists to work in my form whenever i put them in there they just come up as undefined. And if i try to put any if statements in the hyper links stop working as the program cannot run.
