JQuery :: FF2: White On Black Text With Fades?
Sep 23, 2010I'm having trouble getting FireFox 2 to play nicely with a jQuery fade. Here's a paired-down example:[URL]..I've made the source code VERY basic here to make it clear what's what. When you click the link, some jQuery fades the image in and out. But it also makes all the text go thinner. Clicking away from the link then sets the text back to how it was.
Any ideas why this could be? I've googled it and although I can find people with issues around jQuery's fades, I can't seem to find a solution to this one.
When The Page Loads For The First Time Or After Refresh The Text Within The Scroller Is Black
Nov 20, 2001When the page loads for the first time or after refresh the text within the scroller is black for a brief time and then it turns to white. I have tried changing the values but can't get it to start with white text?
The other thing is I would like to be able to have a hypertext link within the text but I tried using the normal <a href> tags but this doesn't work. Can you see a way of doing this? Code:

When I select a date, the text field still having the gray color instead of changing to black color. but, when i key in the date and focus out, it's working fine. I have made two textareas, in one i am inputting some text and by hitting on the buttons i am executing copy, cut etc. commands.

In this the paste button is not working. Like i am copying some text from one textarea, it is not pasting into other textarea.
Also I want to do select all for the textareas only. Like if cursor is on textarea1 and if I am hitting on selectAll button it should only select the textarea1 content. Currently it is selecting the whole page content. code...
How To Force Use Of <p> If Only One Line Of Text?
Nov 11, 2007i discovered that if i just enter "test test test" into a basic tinymce textarea, it doesnt store any html in the db. only when i hit enter at the end of a line does it wrap <p> around both sentences. and, if i just paste a block of text in to tinymce (no linebreaks), it doesnt add html markup either
so i have to tell client to hit enter at the end of any sentence, or the db just returns text with no html markup. i cant use the code below either cause what if they enter two lines? in that case there will be two <p>'s wrapped around the text?

I have it working perfectly, it sits right within he height of the nav and when I rollover it works. The only problem I have is when I rollover the lavalamp line does not align with the navigation text. Make Window With Black Around?

when sb click on the image , a new windows will open and show the picture but all around it becomes dark .
I have attached an example in which sb clicked on the image and the new windows opened and showed the image bigger .

Jul 9, 2010I know this is a known issue but I have had no luck with finding a fix for the issue I am getting with IE8. I get a nasty black border around my png that I am using the Jquery fade function. Does anyone have any useful hacks/tricks to fix this?
