Possible To Create Loop Using Code To Play Song On Webpage?
Oct 22, 2011
Is it possible to create a loop using code to play a song on a webpage? Or does the while statement have to produce numbers like 1, 2, 3? I don't really understand what types of things I am allowed to use when creating a loop.
. I have a problem where I designed my web page project and eventually it must contain a background song that will continuously play even clicking the links/pages.
I have been looking for the answer for a long time, but could not reach to any answer. I am a novice web designer, have very little knowledge on web programming. I hope someone here could help me with the following. The problem scenario is this:
I have a webpage where I have listed some classical songs so that page visitors can listen to song online. All files are in Real Audio format either with .rm or .ra extension. These individual audio files are linked with .ram files so that when visitor’s clicks on the song title, this .ram file launches RealPlayer and the clicked song starts playing. Once a song is played it stops. If user wants to hear another song, user needs to click on another song title to play that song. This is annoying for users.
However, I have seen on some websites where user can select the songs by clicking on the “Check Boxes next to each song titles and play by clicking on the “Play button. Therefore, user can select lists of their favourite songs by clicking on check box and play these together one after another. There are two other buttons also available for users: “Select All songs and “Reset.
i m using tis embeded media player in my web. but, how can i provide checkbox for each song and then let the user play the multiple songs together using tis code? the music file format are .wma, .mp3 or .midi..
We have a master list of hundred songs we can draw from in our database. I have already created a php / mysql / ajax (maybe not needed here) combination which populates the page with a table of a master list of items. Currently when the worship leader clicks on the name of the song it is moved to a new table, and then that list gets placed in a database and emails get sent to the appropriate people.
Two things I can't quite wrap my head around: In the master list I would like to be able to get jquery to filter the master table by letter. i.e. songs starting with Q only with the added ability to show all again... Of course if the last song with Q was just selected the list should automatically go back to showing all. I was doing this with Ajax, but feel this is a waste as jQuery can handle this directly. After the list is in the new table I would like to be able to do something like: [URL].
I am trying to create a way for my users to download some code dynamically from my web page via a file download. Below is the code that i have written so far. It seems to be dying on the iframe but i'm not sure why.
Here is my jquery trigger which is inside my onreadystate function.
I want to use the values of text boxes on my HTML webpage to create a webpage URL (like below):
<script type="text/javascript">
My text boxes are as follows:
Now this all works and the result webpage URL prints to id='ID1', but the big question is how do I use this resulting URL in another Javascript section as the src="?
I have an <img> Tab to play a video(of type .wmv). The image tag is as follows: <img border="0" dynsrc="Test1.wmv" start="fileopen" loop="1" width=1081 height=838>
Everything works fine, but now I need to play a video list (up to 5 videos). As soon as one video stops another video should start playing (at the same position automatically, without any user input) and as soon as the last video is stopped, it should start the first video again. So it will be like a loop.
Could anyone know the script code for a WEBPAGE ON TOP OF A WEBPAGE? The site was not working anymore, so I can't tell you the link. This is what I saw, When I visited the site (Mainpage) There's just a Welcome Image that shows CLICK HERE TO ENTER. After clicking the link, a loading faded icon appears on top of Welcome Image covering that Welcome Image with Webpages, it's like popping to the center of the page. I don't know if someone of you could understand me. It's like Page on TOP of another Webpage without leaving the 1st page.

I'm trying to code a play/pause button via Jquery and the Cycle plugin. I'm able to toggle between the two and the "resume" function works, but am not sure how to make the "pause" function work.

I want to create an web page with infinite x and y.
In web page user can add widgets , once widget added they can place it anywhere on the page , and when next time they login again we have to reposition every widget exactly what they originally had.
I am trying to create a hover that displays when text is passed over by the mouse using javaScript. The hover will display a URL to a detailed report when the user hovers over the text.
I currently have an alert message box appearing which asked the user to visit a website to take a survey. What I would ideally like is a message box appearing which gives them two options in the form of buttons. Yes to take the survey now, which would link to the web page. The second button being cancel which would close the message box, which is normally done with the OK button now.
I am trying to get 2 versions of the code below to run simultaneously on the same page (in different div tags), but with different pictures and timer. I can get both to work seperately so I know the code works, but when I put both on the same page only one works.
<script type="text/javascript"> var ultimateshow=new Array() //ultimateshow[x]=["path to image", "OPTIONAL link for image", "OPTIONAL link target"]
I'm currently trying to create a script which can grab the HTML from a web page and store it. For example, if I want to use google and search for the term "dogs", I want to be able to access that information.
How can I implement this in JavaScript, if at all?
What about if I had something like this where a for loop creates all the variables for you...rather than having to write them out on individual lines like so:
for(i = 0; i < myForm.elements.length; i++) { tempControl = myForm[i]; var e = tempControl.name; var [e] = document.myForm[e].value; }
Is it possible to call a procedure in the code behind a web page from jquery/java script? For example, If I have a button that calls a script called Process_Data and a module in the code behind called Save_Data. Can Process_Data call Save_Data?
Working throu' the Sammy Tutorial with an intent of using a RESTful django server with sammy.[code]Where the console on chrome reports Uncaught ReferenceError: Sammy is not defined and altho' I get to see the template code in the webpage it does not appear to be rendering.All files are visible from the browser including the template code.The error is reported from line 55 [code]which comes after the function declaration.I'm a python/django creature and rarely venture out to the wilds of the client side. Have I made some particularly simple js/jquery/sammy error ?
I am using $.post to send an HTTP Post Request to my web page and I receive the generated HTML code within the corresponding callback function. Unfortunately, the browser does not reload the web page automatically to see the changes of the request. For sure, I could use document.window.reloaed() to make them visible, but instead I simply wanna use the returned HTML code to change web page.
I have tried several javascript statements, such as window.childNodes[0].innerHTML = data or window.clear() but nothing works. Then, I saw the option of using $(document).html(data) but this is also not the approriate one.
