I need to restrict a range of values to a textbox. I have already the minimum and maximum value allowed in the textbox, but is missing me intermediate values.
An example: From the minimum value -2,00 to maximum value 0,00 it accepts: -2,00 | -1,75 | -1,50 | -1,25 | -1,00 | -0,75 | -0,5 | -0,25 | 0,00 From the minimum value 0,00 to maximum value 1,00 it accepts: 0,00 | 0,25 | 0,50 | 0,75 | 1,00
My paste catch trigger for autocomplete works fine for Ctrl-V. If using right click/paste, however, it will not trigger autocomplete. The paste event does fire with both keyboard and mouse, but for some reason it's not triggering the autocomplete, but again - Only with the mouse paste.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to fix a bug in WYSWYG (NicEdit). When I copy and paste from a site it pulls the styles and elements that are in that copy ~ all I want is just the plain text.
So I am starting a script that can be used to override the paste in the textarea and strip the copy to plain text.
This is what I have so far (it's just a start):
So, when I paste in a texarea right now there is an alert that says "paste". What I want is to get the data in the paste and then strip it to plain text - then paste it in the textarea.

I have already try two method, but both fail to show on Mac IE5+
I need to show a non-fixed height table after click the button on a
middle of table
Method1:
Using Layer(<div>), when click on it, overflow='visible'
However, overflow='visible' seems a well know bug on Mac IE5+
Method2:
<td id='myRow'></td>
when click the button,
I set myRow.innerHTML = 'MY CONTENT TABLE'
This done what I expect to, however,
When I click the button and set the innerHTML='',
The table seems borken down.
I have set the innerHTML=' ' (with a space)
The row become blank and the table shows normally,
I would like to hide this row by setting the height but seems not work.
I found a demo version of a jQuery accordion menu that I liked. I want to implement it on my soon to be published home page, What it does not do is that it pushes and pulls the content below it, as down as the accordion expands and contracts. I thought I could solve this by setting the z-index to a large number like 50 so it would sit “Zwise” above the other HTML mark-up. This does not work.Is there any way to float the z-index above the markup?Here is the code from the CSS file:
/*

I have used floating DIVs in the following layout. They jumps sometimes in Firefox. [URL]
It is perfect in IE and Chrome.
I have region which initially needs to be fixed in a certain position. After data is returned to the page and the user scrolls down to the bottom instead of remaining in its fixed postion I want my region to float to the top of the page, if I scroll right back to the top I want the region to revert to its original position.I found a very handy demo that did what I want ( http://fiddle.jshell.net/zsJAr/show/light/) BUT it uses JQuery and I am unable to use JQuery in my pages. Does anyone know how I can replicate what this demo was but without JQuery?
p.s. we are using script.aculo.os and prototype but I can't seem to find anything similar.
I want to display some content in my page by using floating box i want source code for that

I sum up some values with jQuery, which automatically inserts a dot if the result is a float. However, I would like to use a comma instead, how can I do this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to enter a value on a page (like 3.2), and then read
it as a 32-bit float and break it into it's individual bytes.
I've tried using bitwise operators, but they seem to convert the value
into an integer first, and i've tried using the toString() method to
convert it into a hex value so i can parse it, but that also seems to
first convert it into an integer.
I was searching to float a image to whole page, like I am having butterfly image (.gif) now I want to fly it in my whole document which is already populated with sorts of data. So is it possible with jQuery or I have to use Flash..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a jQuery object upon which I am setting the 'top' value using the .css() method. The value is to Float accuracy:
$('#example').css('top', 13.857759);
Setting the value works fine, and the result in the DOM is:
<div id="example" style="top: 13.857759px;">...</div>
However, when I go to retrieve the value using the .css() method, the value is returned as an integer: alert($('#example').css('top')) // alerts "13px" Is this an intentional quirk of jQuery, or considered to be a bug?

On div floats, this are my codes the only thing missing is a div float in the middle. i have no background on div float center.
I'm trying to change a div (#box) from being floated left to not being floated (i.e. being a normal block-level element) when a link (#move) is clicked. I'm doing this:
window.onload = function() {
var z = document.getElementById('move');
z.onclick = function() {
document.getElementById('box').style.float = 'none'
document.getElementById('box').style.width = px'
}
}
However, the div remains floated (confirmed by the handy FF web developer extension). The width does change, so it seems my problem is with the style.float bit. What am I doing wrong?
i have to do in the onkeypress or in onchange the float (real) field validation I try something:
function ValidaCampo(nomeCampo,TotInteri,TotDecimali)
{
DecimalPos=NomeCampo.value.Indexof(',');
Lungh=TotInteri+TotDecimali+1; //sum the ineger + decimal +
decimal separator
if ((window.event.charcode==',') && (DecimalPos>-1))
//i think exist a decimal separator so i don't add any other
else
if (DecimalPos<>TotInteri+1)
//i haven' t insert too much integer
else
if i haven't add any decimal, i add a separator with two zero value
else
if nomecampo.length<>Lungh
//error
}
I was searching to float a image to whole page, suppose I am having a butterfly image (.gif) now I want to fly it in my whole page, this page already contains lots of data or HTML elements, so that image should fly in above of all this data / element. So i was wandering that is it possible with jQuery.
