Demo page illustrating current issue:[URL]... I'm calling different tooltip DIVs from different triggers.Using bodyHandler, each trigger has a unique corresponding DIV To keep a clean document, i've grouped the tooltip DIVs at the bottom of the source When you hover over triggers, the correct tooltip is displayed However, the tooltip displays at the bottom of the page, not tracking with cursor.
How can i group my DIVs away from my trigger markup and still achieve tooltips that track with mouse cursor?

how can I make simple mouseover image tooltip on the little cubic image in the first column of every row - when it's mouseovered, the image of current book, which is in that row, should be in tooltip.The name of every the image in folder "slike" is exactly the same name as the value of "slike" in xml for every book(knjiga)!

The site in question: [url]
The problem: Popups work fine, as they open the mini thumbnails when you mouseover. However, as you scroll down the page, the images move with you. So, if you mouseover'd the top result (having not scrolled down) the graph would appear when it was supposed to. However, if you scrolled down 200px, and then mouseover'd the top result (or any result), the thumbnail would popup 200px lower than it should.
The guide site I used: [url]- it doesn't happen on their site.
I set up a dummy site of their site: [url]- I just copied the source code for everything and changed literally nothing. It still happens on my version of the site.
<script type="text/javascript" src="ddimgtooltip.js">

I'm trying to use the Cluetip plugin to display data on mouseover ofthe tr tag. The data displayed is stored in the title attribute. Itworks great in FireFox, but in IE7 the browsers default title displaysalong with the Cluetip. Am I missing an option that would allowCluetip to override the browsers default title display?
$('tr.toolTipTitle').cluetip({
cluetipClass: 'jtip',
clickThrough: true, /* Set to true for allowing click to go through

Some history: Although I know that it is considered 'old' technology, I have built hundreds of imagemaps over 10 years for a local photographer who uses a panoramic camera (now a spectacular digital one) to photograph weddings, schools etc. I then pop an imagemap area over each face and add a title (and alt text for IE viewers) that shows up on mouseover to identify the person.
I've been using the jQuery tools library recently and tried changing this tooltip demo which turns an image's title into a tooltip from:
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#demo img[title]").tooltip('#demotip');
To:
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#demo area[title]").tooltip('#demotip');
Thus grabbing the title associated with an area rather than an image.
I just built a quick proof of concept using the image map of a family meeting on one of my sites, and viewed it in Firefox. As expected, on hovering over an area the tooltip popped up at top center of the image, with the title text in it. Wow! GREAT! I thought. ;-)
BUT...
In IE: Tooltip pops up, containing the matching title text, but far away from the clicked area and NOT at top center.
In Opera: No tooltip, browser's title box opens by mouse position, but with out title text, instead it contains the a href link that clicking in the area would go to.
In Chrome: No tooltip, no title.
In Safari: No tooltip, no title.
(BTW All tests were done in current browser versions under Win XP)
I just tried Tero's demo at [URL] in all browsers and it worked fine, in every case the tooltip appeared top center of the image, with the title text in it! So it would seem at first thought to be involved with the way browser manufacturers have built their DOM... But further reading indicates that all post v5 browsers use the same DOM model, so I'm stumped. I've Googled quite a few threads where folk have had js/DOM/imagemaps conflicts, but have found no post resolving the issue.
Since libraries such as jQuery claim to isolate us from browser variances, is it just that imagemaps are considered so 'out of date' that browser manufacturers haven't bothered to update their code to integrate them into the standard DOM? (Bravo FF, 'does it right' again!)

I've been trying to teach myself Javascript to figure out this problem, but I'm apparently not learning what I need to.The objective is this:I want to have a div appear below my mouse when mousing over different parts of my website.I know how to swap out the background images, I know how to change the div's sizes... It's just that I'm using one div, and in order to get this right, I need it to be positioned in different places under the mouse each time the image changes.I've got a cross-browser mouse-follow worked out, I just don't know how to edit the "divvx" and "divvy" variables when I mouse over the "boxtest" div. Here is the code I'm working on, maybe I'm just missing something obvious?

var geoURL = "https://<?= $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME']?>";

[URL]...At the page above, at the bottom, there is a button that says "E-mail Seller". This loads a small contact form in a jQuery fancyBox (lightbox). The following script (form-handler.js) is meant to handle the form to and from the form-handler.php.
[Code]...
Everything works fine in Firefox, IE and Chrome. However in Safari, it's like the contents of form-handler.js are not there, its not doing anything. Using Safaris dev tools you can clearly see the script has loaded fine.

I'd like to implement a tooltip like Digg - basically a basic solid line around the box with a pointer connected to the element. This needs to be a free plugin.

OK, never seen anything like this before. I have this AJAX shopping cart I am developing where they add a product and the side bar of the site updates what's in the cart automatically. Works perfect in all browsers except IE (6 and 7).In IE it works the first time you add a product then after that the sidebar does not update AND there are no JavaScript errors. The cart is actually updated because when you refresh the page all the items you added are there.... got me scratching my head to say the least.Here's the scripts that run it (a little messy because I am still tinkering with it:
Code JavaScript:
function add_to_cart(id) {
variables = "product_id=" + document.getElementById('prod_id_' + id).value;

This is an example of what I currently have. There is also a button which adds more rows. It wasn't too hard to get it working using CSS and innerHTML:
<div id="main container">
<div id="row-1">
<input.....
</div>
<div id="row-2">
<input.....
</div>
etc
However, due to mass css headaches with the layout, I' like to see if it can be done it tables instead and using the DOM methods (nodes, createElement etc)
so far, the examples I've seen either don't allow the same functionality or don't work across IE5+(win), and modern versions of FFox, Safari and Netscape (MAC + WIN)
Does anyone know of a good class/example/tutorial?

I recently made a simple tool that opens a website in an iFrame and tells the user how long the page took to load. I made it out of a premade stopwatch
When i run the test in most browsers (Chrome, Firefox 3.6 and older, IE) it works fine with the output textbox going from "Please run the test" to "Test Running" to [TIME TAKEN FOR PAGE TO LOAD] but in firefox 3.7 (Minefield) it goes from "Please run the test" to "0" every time and the page in the iFrame doesn't load.
I've read that Firefox 3.7 has a new Javascript Engine
The test is at [URL] and the problem code is on THIS PAGE (Use View Source in your browser)

I've been looking around the net and so far have come up empty.If a user mouses over a cell in a table, I'd like a popup to appear, but not a non-interactive tooltip. I'd like it to be a bubble or something akin, that would allow the user to move the mouse pointer inside it (and not have the window move around like a tooltip) and have clickable links and images inside the popup that take them to another page. I've seen this feature when hovering over links in various forums, but can't seem to find a framework or sample code that will do this.
