I made a javascript library "timelink.js" [URL] It allows you to add time controller to html document. This is a prototype that is trying to solve time-related problems of html such as forgetting taking rid of late information. Hope you use this library.
I have 10 image libraries and I want to see 2 pic at a time from each image library. I want to make a scroll option where I can see 1image from each library. Any advise on scrolling panel using jquery.
I would like to Update a Sharepoint List (Document Library) Folders using Web Services with Javascript.
I have searched on Goggle but nothing that updates a document Library using UpdateListsItem method & with it being a clientside i need to pass NT Credentials to the List
1. Make ajax request (via getHTTPObject(), no libraries is used)
2. Create an iframe with script, src is "blank.html".
3. use iframe.document.write() to execute scripts (inkluding document.write based scripts) in the iframe.
4. call parent window's document to clone the iframe content.
5. Append the content clone to parent body.
Works like a charm in all browsers but IE, where every version - including IE9 beta - hangs on iframeWindow.document.close() with empty cache, leaving the window/tab unresponsible. When I force quit, restart and load the page again (now in cache) it works.What I've tried already:
* Googled.
* called the ajax request callback manually with string instead of request.responseText - it works even with empty cache here.Removed document.close() - resulting in scripts in iframe not executing at all (again, only with empty cache, cached pages works fine).
* Tested to make the ajax request synchronous - no difference.
Console.log trace:
Code: append() begin unlimited-scroll.js:160 install() begin unlimited-scroll.js:194 iframe begin[code].....
I am using GreaseMonkey to load jQuery 1.3.2 (there is a bug with the latest version of jquery and GM) and jQuery UI 1.8.0.I am using jQuery via GM to manipulate the GUI of a content management system. This CMS uses its own JS library to dynamically add stuff to the dom.
Question:How can I target a dom element that was added to the dom via this other JS lib?In other words, the CMS will add a div to the dom, and I am not sure how to tell jquery to wait for these elements to "be there" before applying the jquery goodness. Specifically, I would like to do this:
$(function() { $('#zen1227').resizable(); });
But "#zen1227" does not "appear" until later via this other JS library.
Suppose a HTML document has a iframe. Using javascript,I want to detect ,on load of the html document, whether the body of the iframe document is ready to be displayed.I want to be able to overwrite the the body contents (before it actullay loads) of the iframe.can I do it with jquery? say if ,HTML doc is
Normally an SVG document is loaded/parsed/interpreted inside an HTML document using an 'object' (or 'embed') element, although there are supposedly other ways too. The problem is, the SVG document must be static this way.
I want to use the DOM interface to build SVG dynamically inside an HTML document. I am guessing I can build it inside HTML within an 'object' (or maybe 'iframe'?) element.
My intentions/goals:
In Javascript, I construct an object 'embedSVG' which has properties and methods for creating valid SVG elements and setting their attributes and attribute values.
During construction, the SVG document is created with its root element. During debugging in FF 2.0 (I'll work on an MSIE-compatible format later), I am using the Mozilla DOM Inspector and comparing nodes when the 'object' element is loading a valid external SVG document, and when I am appending the child representing the SVG document created by the DOM functions.
However the child node (#document) does not specify 'svg' as the root element, but instead 'HTML'. Something is not working.
Here is the relevant code in 'ScriptTest.html' which is the HTML in which the SVG is supposed to be embedded. Below it is the relevant code for 'svglib.js' which is supposed to contain code for building the SVG dynamically.
What this code is supposed to do is load the HTML page and execute the anonymous script, and draw a navy blue-bordered yellow rectangle on a blank page. This is similar to the example in the SVG 1.1 W3C Recommendation on page 202 of the 719-page PDF.
I am getting an exception when embedSVG object placeInHTML() method is called: NS_ERROR_DOM_HIERARCHY_REQUEST_ERR. I find in DOM Inspector in spite of or after the exception that a document is placed as a child of the object element, but it is HTML, with a default 'head', 'title', 'body' elements placed.
I came across a very odd browser behavior when trying to modify a css class using javascript and at the same time having a base html statement in my html file.Without the base html statement, all browsers work fine and I can change the css class definition using javascript easily.With a base html statement, only FireFox still works while Internet Explorer and Google Chrome dont work anymore. If there is a cross-domain issue, while one browser does work and the others dont? An example of what I'm talking about, with the base statement:
http://freebsdcluster.org/~casaschi/tmp/example-base.html Without the base statement: http://freebsdcluster.org/~casaschi/tmp/example-nobase.html
how to tweak the code in the case with the base html statement in order for the javascript to work with all browser (modifying the class definition) ?I want to be able to manipulare css classes with javascript when a base html statement is in my html code.This is essentially the code:
I have a problem I have in my controller a function which poperly returns the value (i've checked by var_dump). When I try to access this data from $.ajax it returns nothing...
scrolling multiple DIVs using a single controller. This is what I need done. I have 4 DIVs, ie. A, B, C & D. View the attached sample screenshot or click here to view it on the internet. I need both horizontal and vertical scrollbars that will move selected DIVs when scrolled.
Horizontal = DIVs A, C and D Vertical = DIVs B and C
Just wondering - is there some trick that allows this to be done of which I am not aware? Specifically, I would like to use XPath to query the _current_ HTML document in IE.
I use the document.ready function by jquery to trigger some action in an asp page. the problem is that IE has problems the first time the page is loaded. I register the window.resize event for example to do the same actions i do once after first load to keep some alignments correct. these will work in ie but not the initial alignings. I played around with the position of the javascript already and tried everything from having it in the header as well as putting as last element right before </body>.
So I have an event handler for the KeyDown event in a Javascript file but for some reason it does not get called the first time a key is pressed. However, if a key is pressed or a mouse button clicked then the next time I press a key it does get called. Here is the relevant code:
........................... // Other stuff $(function()
The script works perfectly well on clicking the prev/next links the first time. But doesn't seem to call the script the second time, as if the script is longer aware of the presence of the newly loaded inner html..
Suppose I have an html document with javascript, opened in my web browser. I need my script to generate another html (which just displays some text), and open it in new tab automatically. How is it done? Conside this code:
cTD = new Array(); // Collection des TD ligne par ligne for (i = 0; i < cTR.length; i++){ cTD[i] = cTR[i].getElementsByTagName('td'); alert("une cellule"); }
but if eTBL is correct...... cTR.length = 0
why this $%*#@ of value is 0???? my array have 8 lines with 7 cell for each, but the first line have only 3 cell
Using my IE v.6 browser, document.write doesn't convert HTML entities (e.g. ', &) to the appropriate character (though NS 6.2 works fine).
Obviously I can get round this for particular entities by writing some code to do the conversion before using document.write - but I need a more general solution that will catch any of the HTML entities.
A trawl with Google has found a number of people raising the question, but no answers. Any suggestions?
Is there no plug in that can convert html+css to a PDF document. I develop in PHP and I am having a huge headache trying to get this to work. The PHP PDF libraries that I have tested are not good with HTML, the conversion always fails.
