Basically this is just like a web browser you type into the text input box and it changes the iframe src I have all that working but I want it so that when you click on a link in the frame the address box to automatically change to the new url. I thought the code above would do it but it doesn't.

Sep 22, 2003I have a select box which updates a hidden field on an 'onchange' event. This works fine. This hidden field basically stores the selected name of an image.
I also have a textarea with a javascript button alongside which calls a function, this function then writes a small piece of html code to the textarea, for an image. I would like to have this source code in the function include the value of the hidden field!

The value should be in the following order of: Test1 Test2 Test3 but the user's keep on getting it wrong: Test1 Test3 Test2 all kinds of order even though they have been educated via mail & tooltip.
In the past I had 3 different text boxes that adds up to one and was cancelled as the users got confused. The values are string & can be anything, it's just the order of the value is incorrect to make the field valid.

My question is that the valus stored in textbox is numeric and when i enter the value in any two of the textbox say named (n50 and n51) then the addition of its value must be seen in the result textbox say (n60) here. it does not wait for another textbox value which is left blank. the result of addition should be displayed simelteneously as i enter the value in text box.

Mar 10, 2010I am creating a small CMS module for a client. I created a little form and when they click Submit, it goes straight out into an include (.inc) file, which is connected to the web page to be displayed.
The trouble I am having is that I'd like to create an additional button that will insert some text (certain html tags to make their life easier, etc) - I got it to work, actually. The script executes and the text is inserted - but once the script runs and the page refreshes (or whatever it does), the text then disappears. The only way I can seem to get it to stay put is when I use "onmouseup" instead of "onclick" - which means that every time the user accidentally mouses over the thing, it inserts the text.

Aug 23, 2010so what i've did is to check the onkeydown and check if they are digits and if input.value text length is 3 or more i will cancel it.However, if the user had words selected in the textbox, i will wish to allow input. Because imagine the user selected the string "123" in the textbox, and wishes to override this string by typing a new number. but with my current logic, since the textbox already have 3 digits, he had his input rejected, which is not what i would want.

Display 2nd Textbox When Option Selected
Jul 23, 2005I have a select box with about 5 options. I need to have one of the options, when selected, display a second select box.
The second select box is populated by a database and needs to be preloaded
so the page doesnt refresh. How can this be done?
I guess could have the second select box displayed but disabled and it would

Apr 28, 2010I have a frameset page that creates several subframes. Does anyone know how to inject the script tag or some js code into the child window before loading of the child frame begins? The reason is to make the pages back-compatible with another system without changing a lot of code. If I can inject the script before the page loads, then it will handle the compatibility issues.
I've successfully injected the code into the child frames by using:
frames.childName.window.eval.call(frames.child_name.window, myCode);
And the functions are available to the child frame after it loads, but the code needs to be available to the child frame before/while it is loading.
