Insert Selected Value From Popup Window Into Textfield?

I`m trying to find source for insert data to textfield. First, I mean this with clicking "List" to open list of values in javascript popup window. Here list of data appears.User can select value from list and send it back to form textarea with closing small javascript popup window automatically, while clicking on selected value. Anyone knows, where to find this source?? No need JQUERY and I mean this without drop-down list.

On my parent page I have a form with an input text field containing the value of a Customer name (pulled from a database). I also have an image link that, when clicked, will launch a popup window that performs a database lookup and displays all Customer names.
What I'm looking for is a javascript solution to do the following:
1. Each Customer name in the popup window be a hyperlink that, when clicked, will populate the Customer input text field on the parent page (thereby removing the text field's current contents).
2. then, automatically close the popup window.

I have a form that has four questions with yes no answers (using radio buttons) - if a user answers yes to any of the questions a textfield is revealed and they have to give details. I've firgured out the show/hide textfield but I want to use some form of form validation so that if a user selects Yes to any questions then the relevant textfields are required and must be filled in - so only the textfields in the questions with a Yes answer are required.
I found this post: [URL]...and the response by JMRKER was almost exactly what I wanted - the only problem I can't figure out how to extend his code to four possible text fields. I don't think I've explained this very well but hopefully you'll know what I mean.

I have a form, and one of the text boxes should be a URL to an image. I have a link to popup an image-upload script. On that popup, after they upload the file, they'll have a URL. I don't want to give specific instructions to "Copy paste the URL into the form". I want it so that they'll click a button called "Insert into Form" and it'll automatically close the popup and insert the URL into the text box.

Is is possible to have a Radio button, when selected, insert an image into a table(or something)? Each Radio button changing the previous image. I figure it would be an array, or maybe its a simple onclick, both of which I've tried, but I am fairly new to this. I'll show you the code, and hopefully you can figure out what I mean.

I am trying to dynamically open a popup window but ie8 blocks it with the popup blocker. basically within a ajax fuction I have a confirm button and if the user clicks yes it opens a popup window. now I tried it with a javascript function but it got blocked, so I have tried it by creating a form with a button in it and instead of calling the popup function direct I call document.form.button.click and in the form my button has onclick"popup('<? echo url; ?>')" but this also is detected as a unwarranted popup and is blocked.
now I understand that the popup blocker works when a popup is called without user interaction, but allows popups on say button clicks. how can I get the popup to work

In my application i use window.showmodaldialog() to pop up a window. When i run it in IE pop up blocker wont blocks the window... But when run it in FireFox pop up blocker will blocks the pop up window.. is there any way to open a window with out blocking(avoiding ) by the pop up blocker?

I have this javascript code:

The commas in the (Hello,World:,check1,check2,and,check3') part of the code are inserting a space between the words. But I also want to insert comma between check1, check2, and check3. I have tried the html ascii code for comma that is ",". I also tried the escape sign (as below. None of these codes worked. Does anyone have any tips?

I have a couple of utility windows - a calculator and a calendar that popup
from my main window. I would like them to always stay in front of the parent
window until they are shut down with there own close buttons. As it is, when
you click back to the parent window, of course it comes in front of the

I have a domain name registration field that links to a reseller storefront and then searches for that domain name. I would like the storefront to open in a new window, instead of the parent window. I have tried to insert the target="blank tag but can not seem to get it to work. Is there another way to make that window open? I have a popup window that comes up when a user doesn't have access to a certain page within my site. The problem is when a user clicks on something the popup window comes up but the bigger sized window of that popup comes up in the background as well. I am trying to have my popup window come up while the original page I clicked from is still focused/seen in the background. This is the code I currently am using, can anyone help me with what I am missing. I have a back button but I won't need that if I want to maintain the original page in the background. Instead I will use a close button.

I am building a CMS and will have an Image browser built with it. When articles are added the will be able to open up the image browser when they find the image they want to insert I would like to send it(and ID from my database) into that textarea where the article is in(in the main window). I'm trying to replicate a feature found in hotmail, facebook, etc. When you type or select a recipient from an auto-suggest box for your message/email that recipient's name is put into the "To" field box and is encased (usually a blue rounded corner box) with a X to the far right. If the "X" is clicked the recipient is removed.
How can do you put the selected recipient into the encasing and insert it in the "To" field box? If there are multiple recipients how are they differentiated? For example, if there were a ";" between the recipients the semi-colon would separate the values.

I have a website which has a popup window (this only opens when the user
chooses to open it). In the popup window I have a <select> control which
lists a selection of "classes". Each class has a description and a class_id
(stored in the value attribute of each option). The user will then select a
class from the drop-down list.
What I want to do is have a control in the parent browser window which can
store the class_id and the description that the user has selected in the
popup window.
Any suggestions as to what control I should use in the parent window and
more importantly how I get the value from the popup window (this must be
client side code as the user will have entered other values into the form in
the parent browser window)?
