Different Contents Without Url Change

when a user open the page, the page shows the browsing result above.
If the user clicks the link "more," the page shows the browsing result below without url change.

If the user clicks the link "more" again, the page shows the browsing result below without url change.

Can I make it showing different contents without url change like the above with your help?

Im currently working on a project with jquery... the thing is.. i need to change the contents of a div named "sub2" with the contents of "pets.html"... i've read some tutorials and i thought the best way to do this is through the use of jquery...
Here's my code:

The code is working ., but when i transfer my codes to netbeans with Tomcat running the code didnt work ...
Is there anyone here who knows what's wrong or what should i do with my code?

I am building a website for a group in my church and I had a quick question on using innerhtml. I am building the site on dreamweaver cs4. I used one of their already made sites as the basis for mine which has some divs named maincontent and sidebar. I have a nav bar at the top with buttons I made. I want the buttons (when clicked) to change the contents of my maincontent div and sidebar div.

Javascript is not my strong point but I have a little problem with a
function.
I have ASP code that displays form variables for x number of users.
Depending on the radio button they click, I highlite some text in red
over another form variable to show that it's mandatory. I use a <span>
tag for the text and a Javascript function to change the text color of
that user's mandatory field.
My Javascript call passes (i) to show which user I'm talking about but
the problem is I don't know how to change that user's text color.
Here's my function

As you see, I'm not using the parameter "num" so it only works for the
first user. I need to know how to make it dynamic...I've tried

but that doesn't work. Anyone know the syntax?

I have a page with two radiobuttons - 'Rent' and 'Buy'. I want the content below the buttons to change with respect to the radio button selected. I want a 'select' and a 'textbox' when I click 'Rent'. I want a deifferent 'select' when I click 'Buy'. I trie a lot but couldnt get a way to do it. Is this possible in JavaScript???

This is a "can I" or "is it possible" question:
If I have one main html file that calls an external JS file that contains only an array (infoArray), know I can do this code...
Now the question...
Instead of 2 different main.html files, to load the different inforArray.js files, can I somehow overwrite the contents of the infoArray
AFTER the information has been loaded from the first external JS file?
I have seen code that adds elements to the <head> section as the page loads,
is there something similar to load/change array information during or after page load?
Or is this something that should be done by having text information in the file and loading with ajax and processing to an array afterward?

After this the table will have all the contents of the array. How do I reinvoke the form to have the updated version of the array shown on the table without refreshing the whole page? The page cannot be refreshed because the data is just in an array and when I do refresh the page the contents of the array gets back to its default. Is it even possible to refresh just a part of a page, in my case a table after a button click or are there other button events I can try to play with?

I have a page that has a list of companies pulled from a mysql db. Each company name is a link and when clicked an overlay comes up containing further details on that particular company.
Everything is working...my list is created, link pulls up the overlay, but as of now it only populates the info for the company that is the last record. I know I need to pass the record id to the jquery so that it pulls the record for the name clicked, but I am just not familiar enough with jquery to figure it out. I believe I need to pass it to a parameter, but need a nudge in the right direction. Below is my current code with just the basics, I have passed the unique id for each record via mid="<?php echo $member->member_id; ?>"> in the link...I just need to pass that to the overlay. code...

After the user logs in, this area changes itself to a "Welcome Name, Lastname" field. I'm looking for javascript to analyze the contents of a textbox and replace the contents with the appropriate date. To make that a little clearer, if the user types 'tomorrow' then when they tab/move onto the next text box the 'tomorrow' text should be replaced with the date for tomorrow in the format dd/mm/yyyy, if the user enters '1 week' then the text should be replaced with the date in one week in the format dd/mm/yyyy etc.

I want to load an html div in a variable, modify it in another variable; and then change the document injecting the contents.
1. I load the html to be changed in a variable (code)
2. I modify an attribute of <param> using attr() and I put the result in a var (newcode)
3. I change the html in the doc
I've used the debugger, and all steps give the expected results, except of newcode.html(), which is a null string. Why?

I need to produce some code to get the contents of the particular TD I am running a function in.
I have the following code which works fine up the point of wanting to delete a row. In order to make it work again I have to go into the code and adjust all the numbers in the functions (not sure that's the correct terminology)

Re-calibrating the selection start and end points, done.
Capturing the tags for re-insertion, done.
Getting the start point of the tag, done.
What I am having trouble with is finding the content between the tag so that I can put it back after altering the selected text.

Right, ok, well I have designed a form that will display a price (22.34) in
a text box, and another price in the other text box... I also have a blank
text box... Now I want to add both the prices together and get a total in
the bloank textbox..
I got this example off a website sumwhere.. But it does not display the
decimal number, it only displays the whole number..
