Creating That Has Both A Lightbox Rel Link And A Quick Calculator To Work Out A Size Of A Product?

I have a page on a website I am creating that has both a lightbox rel link and a quick calculator to work out a size of a product.Here are the links to the java files I am using:
I've noticed that Google uses JavaScript to pass information to their servers for processing. I can only imagine they're passing back the HTTP request of the current request to pull the data from to track sessions, page views, time spent, etc. Does anyone have an idea of how they're actually doing this?
I'm having one of those moments right now. Can someone explain why the following alerts "undefined" instead of "George"? function test(){ this.worker='George'
I currently have a slideshow working on my client's site, but I can't get lightbox to work properly on it. [URL]...
Is there a way to fix the existing slideshow to work with lightbox? Or is there another way of doing this (keeping the same look that is currently in place)?
I have a website at: [URL] The page works on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and IE-9. It sort-of works on IE-8, however, the problem is that on IE-8, there is about 2 seconds where everything is shown on top of everything else in a mess. This is bad.
The website is unusual in that it uses a menu to slide screens from right to left. This has implications. For instance, I need the menu to appear on all screens, so I use absolute positioning, and then use javascript to calculate the center position. The same goes for a logo image. And on top of that, some screens (which are really DIVs) have items positioned by absolute and relative positioning within them, and those positions are often calculated via javascript (and then set).
On IE-8, the result is not good. I think what is happening is that the browser first shows everything as it appears before javascript is run, and then slowly the javascript is run, which puts everything in the correct position. So initially, not only is everything in the wrong position, but different DIVs appear on top of each other.
The issue I'm having is that although the form is being processed OK with data being captured in the database, once the form is submitted, the above script just seems to stop the rest of the page from loading. This only happens on IE and it must be something to do with the success function but as I'm new to JavaScript I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I have the last assignment that she wants us to do and I had to pull up another assignment that she wanted us to build upon( which is one of those coding without anything advance)
<html> <head> <title>
[code]....
now she wants us to do max <beta and then name the variables with if a<b and I don't know if I put that in the concatenation or what to name my variables!
If you mouseOver a thumbnail of a product, a larger picture appears fading in and doing a quick slide at the same time. On mouseLeave, it does the reverse.
I am trying to create a monthly mortgage calculator, I have been able to make it show prompts for Amount of loan; Interest rate; and Term of loan (in months), but it will not display the results. Below is the code I have utilized to get this far.
We are required to create a javascript calculator. The page should has 3 text box, first and second text box would allow the user to input numbers, the third textbox will show the answer. the arithmetic operations should be in radio button, drop-down list and the select option. I'm still working on the radio button and i don't how to execute the operators. How to grab the inputted number from the textbox and how to execute the operators.
I am new to Java and my teacher goes way too fast in class and am a day behind on this calculator. Our assignment is to make a Calculator using AppendDigit and Else if functions in the java code. Some of my other code in html may be messed up as well. I am just lost so here is the HTML:
And Here is the pathetic Javascript which I have barely started: Code: // cal Applet- John Falco- 20 October 2010 function clear TB() { document.form.kpd.display.value="0"; } function AppendDigit (x) { if (x==".") { if ((!HasDecimal)) } else { document.forms.kpd.display.value = document.forms.kdp.display.value + X; };
I am trying to place a Body Mass Index Calculator on a web page. I need a prompt box that asks the user to enter their weight and height (in pounds and inches, respectively). The box should calculate BMI as follows:BMI = (Weight / (Height * Height) ) * 703;After the BMI is calculated, I would like the box to display the user's status (obese, overweight, normal, underweight). After the user has entered all information, use the document.write function to display the following, with the customized information:
I am basically trying to enter a name along with a mark and store this in a javascript cookie. From this I want to create the mean and graph for up to 100 results.This is the code:
<html> <head> <title>Class Marks Calculator</title>[code]....
I have been working on this for hours and do not understand where I am going wrong.
i have i am using a jquery.lightbox-0.5.css does anyone knows how can i specify so that when the lightbox pops up keeps the all the images or at least the lightbox of the image on the same size because when it pops ups dpending on the image some of them are huge they just ocupied the whole screen??
I am using Lightbox 2.04. I would like to change the size of the image container for the large image. No matter what size I actually make the image, when it appears it always fills the containing box and is too big. It is portrait orientation and sometime the image needs vertical scrolling to see it all.
How do I change the size of the image container so it fits nicely within the screen and where do I find the code to do this? I want the container to be the size of the image. Does this happen automatically based on the actual size of the image? If so, mine doesn't do that.
I am trying to make a calculator that calculates the amount of words inputted (words) and multiplying it with a variable decided by an If/Then statement. The way I want it to work is that if there is 1-10,000 inputted it multiplies whatever that amount is by .29, and if there is 10,000-20,000 by .26, and anything more than 20,000 by .24. This is what I have come up with so far:
Code JavaScript: <script type="text/javascript"> function wordcount(){
im trying to make the left Product Categories background position "rollover" menu work on this page: [URL] at the moment the page loads and CSS hover works to set the background position so that the graphic behind makes a roll over effect. i put some javascript to set the background position permantly to the roll over on click (so the user can see which one they are on) but then this knocks out the roll over effect on all other categories - it knocks out the CSS hover: onclick="setStyle('c1','backgroundPosition','0px 0px');
it means that c1:hover no longer works.. i tried putting !important in the CSS c1:hover background position and this fixed it in Firefox but not IE. So how can i write something in Javascript to also say: onclick="setStyle('c1:hover','backgroundPosition','-276px 0px');
i know Javascript does not do hyphens and the way to get for example "background-position" in CSS is to ditch the hyphen and make "P"osition capitol. perhaps something can be done also to get to the CSS hover attribute?
I have been fighting a nutrition calculator and I finally have all the addition working. the problem is the subtract link is not working. (it works as a link but doesn't trigger my jquery). var jM = jQuery.noConflict(); jM(document).ready(function(){ // Calculator behavior //Addition Time! jM(".add").click(function() { //Create the Variables to Hold the Values for Nutrition Information..... jM('.subtract').click(function() { alert('test'); }); });
This is a code for a simple calculator that requires the input of an Area and then calculates how many packs of product are then required to cover that area, rounding up to the next full pack, The results should be displayed in a simple HTML form but its not happening. I can't see any obvious errors. Am I missing something.code...
I have a HTML/Javascript code which dynamically calculates the entries and gives the grand total.I have it working in table form using textboxes, but when I try to transform it using iWebkit to Form using small fields, the calculator does not work.I want to simply subtract 1 text field from another and user presses a button and gives an answer in a 3rd text field
THIS IS THE GENERIC HTML USING JAVASCRIPT WHICH WORKS FINE....
I am having an issue where I am using lightbox, however what is showing up is a text link "Request Email." I understand how to manipulate this text to say anything I want. However, I am having difficulty changing the text link to an image.
Instead of the text, I want to have an image (button) stored on my server [URL] be the link to click on instead of the text. It seems this would be easy to accomplish
