The script creates new fields with calendar in a form, if new information is added to a field and then a new field is created the information is lost in FF Live demo: [URL]
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Calendar Text Input</title> <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="datetimepicker.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> [Code]...
I'm doing this site for my c=school and needs this event calendar. Ive traipsed through this far but stuck with the event showing up. The problem is it will double print the dates that have events. One from the for loop which shows events and other from the normal if function. Following are my files.
I've implemented [URL]... in to our website, and it works great. What I'm trying to do now is take the events on that calendar and have the next upcoming event display on the sidebar of the pages. I put the listing of events in its own .js file for easier reading
I am using a calendar that I have downloaded from a web site. I use this to provide a way for the user to choose a date from the calendar to fill in some date fields. Overall, the calendar works fine except for one problem that I cannot fix: When I add OnBlur event handler to the calendar, the calendar loses its capability to handle OnClick event -- therefore, the user cannot click a day from the calendar. I am trying to use the OnBlur event to hide the calendar as soon as the user clicks outside the calendar. Currently the user can click at a "Cancel" button on the calendar to hide the calendar, or the user can hit <Esc> key to hide it. But I think the calendar will work better if the user can click outside the calendar to hide it.
Attached please find a simplified version of the program that can show this problem. It has one single text field to put date on it. When you click at the text field, the calendar will pop up. This version has the OnBlur event handler commented out. Therefore, you should be able to choose a date from the calendar. But you cannot click outside the calendar to hide it. In order to show the problem, you need to go to the bottom of the program and uncomment this line:
After you have uncommented that line, you will find that you can click outside the calendar to hide it. Unfortunately, you will also find that choosing a date from the calendar only hides the calendar; the date is not being placed into the text field.
I'm wanting to create a pop-up window that shows upon entering on the website with two buttons that have different functions.
I'm wanting the first button, when clicked, stops the message from appearing again. -Similar to the "do not show again" option that uses cookies from this thread.. [URL] the second button, when clicked, redirects the user to a URL
Is it as simple as using the code from the thread above and some simple javascript buttons?
I am trying to find a script (and failed, even on google) to create a countdown timer on a website. The details are : a countdown timer that (a) runs off server time, not client time and (b) resets every 10 minutes. The only example i could give to clear up any questions would be something extremely similar to facebook app games : eg mafia wars etc energy refill timers so people visiting my web page would see a countdown timer that was counting down 10 minutes and then resetting itself, on the hour, 10 past, 20 past etc etc. And also, can the counter trigger a script, orwouldit be best to use a scheduled task for this? I do not want the timer to take the user from the web page.
I am not sure of the exact name of a such counter, so maybe thats why google is not giving me the answers i need. Also I know i maybe need php to run frrom a server time. I can code php half-competently, but javascript is out of my knowledge range at present (although i can usually see code and know how to adapt it to my needs etc)
I am planning to create a web site in HTML5 and Javascript for iPad, for that perpose i need a local database access using javascript. I have installed SQLite on iPad, How i can access Sqlite using javascript.
Points i dont want to implement are: 1] I don't want to use HTML5 Local database storage as it cleans data whenever we clear history and caching. 2] I don't want to use Google gear, becoz it creates dependancy, also i have never used it. Is it possible to access SQLite using pure javascript. so that it will work with all the browsers and also on iPad as well as on XP, Vista machines.
I'm fairly new to jQuery. I'm currently using the jCarousel plug in to display multiple addresses for a company and it works great, up until I add a new address for the company a new <li> in the <ul> list. Then my jCarousel stops working.I understand the answer is to use the new delegate method but I haven't been able to find the right way to use it.[code]How do I modify this code so that I can use delegate?
I was able to edit it and then download the personalized altered code. BUT I can't figure out how to edit it to get the information to submit to me. I really need to get their resume and information. I dont know if it should submit to my webspace or my email. Email would be easier but either is fine so long as I can read them. When I downloaded the zip file for the application form included a CSS, Images and Scripts folder also an index html page. In the Scripts folder was a file titled wufoo.js which I think I read right to be JavaScript. You have to pay a montly fee to wufoo.com inorder to have your form information sent to them.

I want to create a dynamic way to change the page titles on a website. I am currently using a php include feature and due to the variable data required for a title/meta is there an easy way to control this from one file and then include it in a similar way?I don't really want to go through lots of pages manually amending it in the future?
Been looking around for 3 days now, I found exactly the style that I want, have images on my web site, all I need is for someone to show, explain to me how exactly this pagination or whatever it is works, how do i select which actual images from my site or where to be shown in the main window and also the thumbnails below?

I've been going bonkers trying to find the answer to this question... I'm hoping somebody out there can help me. Our network environment is Active Directory and our web server is Windows 2003 IIS 6.
I've got an ASP page that we include into each of our pages to act as our companywide header. We force users to authenticate into our Intranet site, and we are able to display the following information about them on each page:
Welcome (username) Today is (whatever)
Can Javascript or Dhtml or something else get me this information? We have thousands and thousands of webpages and I don't want to have to use the .asp extension on every single one if I don't have to... but I can't find a way to display the username in the header without it =| Somebody mentioned using File System Objects, but I haven't yet experimented in that arena. Code:
I am using a straightforward jquery.load() command which loads a set of html content into another HTML. I have tested this functionality across multiple browser from multiple computers in multiple locations, and it works fine, but for some reason within my client's office network, ajax content does not load. No browser errors are thrown. All I can tell is that within safari, for example, I will get a "cancelled" message in the activity log.
I have just joined this website in order to get some answers for a problem I have my own shoe selling business and have recently created my own website. I taught myself a few tricks from books and a friend was on hand to help me also. What I would like to do is make images of my shoes 'rollover' images so you can turn the shoe picture around when you hover your mouse over it. Here is an example which in fact allows you to zoom in on images (I would like this function AND a turning 360degrees rollover of the image too: DuobootsObviously I am a complete amateur and only know simple HTML codes and have found other advice I have received inconclusive

I am completely new to jQuery, and I don't even know how to approach or implement what I am trying to do.Before the home page of a site I've developed appears, I want the logo of the company to appear on the screen, then fade out to reveal the web page with full functionality.I also could do this be fading out the logo to reveal a static image of the home page which then could redirect to actual home page.
