I want to create a gallery of images with a fancybox-esque style but incorporate the "folder functionality" that this site has: [URL] In other words: When I click on an image I want it to expand to "fullscreen". (This I can manage with fancybox.) What I can't work out how to do is display more images from the same photo-session at the bottom of the fullscreen.

I've found a post regarding this issue but it's a little bit different this time.So I've created a .php script which creates some galleries where users can click them and browse their respective photos. It works like a charm in Chrome and FireFox, but IE doesn't like it.With this code:

When I click on the gallery thumb it should open the first photo in fancybox and browsing through the gallery should by peanuts. And it is, but with IE just opens the .jpg in a blank page without fancybox. The strange thing is I've used the same script approach in another website and the fancybox works just fine with IE too. So why doesn't in this case?

I'm trying to make a simple hyperlink that should open a Fancybox image gallery. I'm almost there, but now, there occurs a strange problem when I execute the page with the code. I have to double click the hyperlink after I load the page instead of one single click. Anyone who knows the problem?

I have a page that contains images, and those images are displayed in a fancybox window when they are clicked. Some of these images are loaded dynamically after the page loads via AJAX.
All of the images exist inside of link tags with class="challenge_image_gallery". The code works the way it should on the images that are initially loaded on the page. However, when the new images are loaded onto the page using AJAX, the fancybox window loads two instances of the image that was clicked on rather than one as it should.
Here's the code I'm using:
i used setTimeout() function in my image gallery to scroll images , i used setTimeout("myfunction()",1) in my script. Now my image gallery is working properly but problem is that the speed of scrolling images if normal in firefox, but in internet explorer it is slow, and in google chrome it is very fast , Sir how to resolve this problem

I've been working on a freelance design site, and I have been using jshowoff and fancybox on my portfolio page. The portfolio has multiple sections that are set to be scrolled through using jshowoff by using the slide links. This use of jshowoff is working perfectly fine, but fancybox isn't. fancybox is supposed to be set to launch a modal when any of the portfolio thumbnail images are clicked. As it is right now, fancybox links will not work within the jshowoff slide div, but they do work outside of the jshowoff slide div.
I have done about 5 hours of searching online for possible fixed to my issue, and I haven't found anything. I am attempting to fix the conflict the between jshowoff and fancybox. I am very new to using jQuery plugins, so hopefully, you can all bear with me.If anyone may know how I can fix my fancybox links, so that fancybox will work within my jshowoff slide, I'd greatly appreciate it. One that can edit a bit of Javascript but is not able to write it. I found a very nice image-gallery in javascript and it is working fine.but I would like to have several images-gallery's on the same page and then that doesn't work.

The thumbnails show up fine in both of the images-gallery's but the main image stays empty in the second image-gallery. What can I do to have the possibility to have more than one image-gallery the same page?
I want to pre-load images for my gallery, but I'm not sure of the best way to go about it. Currently, I have php code that generates thumbnail images on page load and while this works fine, it at times can be very time consuming. I am developing a website for my budding photographer son, Tom, and I want to provide an gallery where the user clicks on a thumbnail and this displays a larger image. The only way I see that I can do this is to have a link on the thumbnail to load the page again passing the image name or id to the page using a query string and processing this using PHP. If I preload all of the larger images when the site first loads will these images be available in the cache for other pages.Another way is to hover the thumbnails and display the larger image but I need to find a way to keep the image displayed until the user hovers over another thumbnail.

I prefer jQuery over flash and not sure how to tackle this, so please advise as best you can. Trying to create a site that allows for images to go full browser and then have the ability to have the other images slide in based on a click.
I also want to float a menu that will allow it to pull in other media (video, that would slide in the same way). I'm pretty new to Java, so i may be missing something simple, but here is my problem; On this page under the work area the gallery images are showing no problem, but on the sideways scrolling page .com/sideways on page 4 it's not showing the gallery image like the div is missing(it's not), but if you click on one of the links it will pull up a blank. It also will not scroll past page 4 to page 5(or if you move the gallery area to say, page 2, it won't scroll any further either). Like the script for the gallery area is interfering with the sideways scrolling script. Please ignore the design on the site as it is just there so i can see how everything reads.
In the doucmentation I'm reading that images in the same gallery need to have the same rel attribute value. But when I do that only the loading animated gif will show on top of the overlay. If I take out the rel then each image will display in a single thickbox. How can I get a gallery of images to display in the thickbox?

You can see that when selecting 'Contact' from the top navigation a light-box (fancybox) with a contact form opens, this form can be filled and when the submit button is pressed the content of the form is emailed to myself. However.... The 'Thank you message' is not appearing in the light-box as I would like it to and I cannot work out how to do this.

View 1 Replies View Relatedworking on a feature that displays 3 news stories. The stories are accessed by 3 buttons on the top, sort of like a tab-style navigation. The catch is that all 3 stories are on the same html page, the "navigation" is just showing/hiding content based on Java, CSS & div's. Where I'm stuck is creating On/Off state for the tab buttons. What I'd like to do is:
Click button 1, buttons 2 & 3 turn off.
Click button 2, buttons 1 & 3 turn off.
Click button 3, buttons 1 & 2 turn off.
Naturally I have separate version of each button for the on/off state, I'm just not sure how to initiate the swap...Do I set a JS variable on the onclick? Or is it just a function?
