I have the one javascripts button code and the functions is on "text area" .. but how do I change the function of this button to go to [url]...... ..? how to make it..the javascripts button code :

I want to change the color of a button when it is clicked and have added this getElementById line in the function called by onclick but when I add the line the function won't run. The function also contains AJAX to change the button content but everything else is working fine as long as I don't add this line.

I have been looking at this for ages, so apologies in advance if I have become so bleary eyed I can't see something simple.I use php to create buttons based on values pulled for a table. The problem I have is when you click on the first button the javascript function works great, when you click on the next button you get the same output even though it should be different results. I am working in ff and I can see on my firebug console that the javascript function is being called, but it is not passing the new value of the second or third button, it just keeps repassing the value of the first button. So not entirely sure where I am going wrong here.My page is:

I'm trying to make buttons that change from one color to another when you click them and change back when you click them a third time. I wrote this page (http://cf.lehigh.edu/ems/test.html) but it only works on Firefox(Not IE or Chome, untested on safari or Opera). I'm using javascript to change the button colors. Is there another way to do this that works universal or another tool such as CSS?

My question is what will be for xxxx?
I try
..style.background-image for xxxx, but Netscape/Firefox and IE dosen't
like that.
..style.background is for the background-color, not for background-image.

I'm trying to get button to change word + triangle.This ▼ or ▲ is Hex for triangle.I hard code this

page loads, the value shown on button is
"More and a triangle" (as I would like) but when I then do

the button displays "Less▲"; (ie no triangle) why? Is this possible?

I have a simple html

I need the button enabled if I check one of the check boxes and disabled when I click itself. I can do this in Jquery pretty easily, but in javascript. So I try some code like Below and it doesn't work.

I am trying to make a button that would change the background image of the whole document whenever somebody clicks it. I have tried something along the lines of this:

My assumption to why it doesn't work is that I am combining javascript with CSS, but I am most likely wrong.

I'm trying to use an onclick function in a radio button to change the value of a hidden input in another form. What I want to happen is, when the user changes the value of the radio button (0 or 1), the value of the input named 'repeat' is set to 0 or 1 accordingly. The goal being that when I submit the form with input name='repeat' it will send the number indicated by the radio button.(Due to the structure of my page the radio button and the hidden input need to be two separate forms.

I Should have the textbox value as my radio button value. For example, if I type "5" in the textbox, then the radio button value would change to "5". by the way I have three radio buttons and one textbox and if I select one of those and type something in the text box the value would replace to radio button which is selected and all this have to happen before the page submitted or in the process of submitting. I hope I could find answers here (It's so important for me to solve this problem, For see the form please go to this page URL..., Its above the news frame where you can see three radio buttons and one textbox named shipment tracking.

I'm hoping there is a nice easy solution for this as just simply want to change the browse button to an image and remove the text box related with the upload form (and really it would be nice if i could combine the send and browse button together). However google has been a little unfruitful and i have no clue how to approach this. I was hoping for a standard solution to this as i can image other ppl have come to this problem before (and annoyingly the client wants it too).

Basically on this page [url] the second table - the one for layout - has got 2 buttons at the bottom, "show borders" which once clicked puts a jpg in the box and shows how the table would look like if it had borders, and the second button "reset text" that at the moment doesn't work, that it is supposed to bring back to the original content of the box. At the moment that button has a function that is clearly wrong. I have made some attempts of course.
