I created a form where users are allowed to delete a specific row of data by clicking the "cancel" button from the drop down menu. However, I have a problem deleting my data using the javascript. Apparently, I only able to delete the first row of the data but not for the rest!

I have taken from internet a script that adds and removes rows but I made a little changes to that script that is renumbering rows after deleting. I can delete all rows by selecting at once except firts row. For ex. I have added 10 rows and I chose 9-th of them I delete them with no problem. but when I choose the first row it deletes one by one and displays error. If possible Why the error displays when choosing first row (no matter only first row or all rows with the first row also). My script is below:

What is happening is $(this) is no longer based on .expand being the (this) that is clicked.
like if i have a button SOMEWHERE randomly on the page with this
<div onclick="Minimize('_alerts');">Click Here</div> this will minimize alerts but because the (this) in minimize function doesn't actually point to the right button that I want to add a class to.
Is there a way to modify the minimize function so that it finds the <div id="mytoggle"><ul> <li class="expand boxminimize" rel="_alerts"> using the rel toggle, and then changes the class of the li from expand boxminimize to boxexpanded??

I've managed to output the text of my two arrays to a specific div (in this case the div's id is ''number') - BUT I'm only seeing the last data from each array (it's a train number and a train name) so instead of getting the entire list from 800 to 870 and the associated names I'm just getting the last pairing which in his case is 870 Zulu.

To get confirmation from the user before performing certain actions,we use javascript confirm box. The confirm box sets its focus to Ok button by default. I need to change this focus to Cancel button. And below is the code so far.

I would like to be able to access the raw CSS code that has been loaded for the specific page. I'm not looking to change the code (I know how to use jQuery for CSS manipulation etc...) I just want to parse through it and extract some useful information.I considered just loading the stylesheet references in the page, then placing a request to the server for the .css file, but this feels messy even if the browser happens to have the page cached from having just requested it.Has anyone got a clue as to how one would go about this? As always, I think its best if it uses jQuery XD, however, I just really want to get this done
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a password script that prompts users for a password, the script works perfect, however, when you click on cancel, it begins the loop again and you can't exit the prompt unless you know the password. It's an internal site so I don't care if it's not that secure. What first occurs is the user clicks on the submit button in a text form, when that occurrs, the password prompt apears, I need the user to be able to click on the cancel button, which will also cancel the submit request and then gets redirected to the same site, like a refresh. I'm not that great with if and else statements, so it may be the problem, or I may need a entire new script.

I have created a table that allows the user to edit specific cells by clicking on them. Their new entered values set the value on the table. They then should be able to submit a form which sets several hidden inputs equal to the values in the table then passing the information to a php page to process. I don't want to use the cancel button functionality of the ratings plugin (version 3.12) so I don't want it showing in front of the stars. I was expecting to find a configuration setting for this, but didn't (did I miss it)? I added a line [control.cancel.hide()] to the draw() function in the source code on line 256 which did the trick, but I was wondering if there is a better way to do this (preferably through configuration)? Doing web page with ASP/VB.NET. Have text boxes for UI on page. Two command buttons - Submit (for db update) and Cancel. I need the Cancel button to prompt the user to verify cancellation. Need OK/Cancel buttons on alert. If user selects Cancel-no action. If user selects OK then I want the text boxes cleared of user text input and focus returned to first text box. I think this may be the code but do not know how to apply it.

I tried various combination of single quote and double quote but I think I am missing some fundamental rules of single and double quote combination....or may be something else.
