I'm a js noob but have managed to cobble together some code for a simple calculator. All the math works well, but changing the radio button doesn't have any effect. Basically, I have 4 set of equations (long if/then statements) - 2 are to be used when one radio button is checked, 2 if the other is checked.

I want to change radio button values dependent on the selected item in a drop down list.The radio buttons have default values but I need them to be changed when the selection has been made in the drop down list and before the submit button has been pressed so the changed values will be written to the database.
I have the following code which I want to make a selection and the value should reflect in the text box and the text box should take on that value for future calculations.

The following (likely far from imperfect code), reports a value of NaN in the j4 display. I suppose the problem is I am not really passing the "checked" value of the radio button via .value ... without having to get this value via html, is there any way I can passed the checked value via html .. maybe with syntax like n4.checked.value or something.. I have a form with multiple Divs containing radios, text etc. What I'm trying to do is write a function that will validate all radios only within a specified Div (in the code example below, Div4). I need to validate if all the radios in the div have "no" selected, or button[1]. If any have yes selected, then nothing happens. Only if all have No selected do I need something to happen.
Assigning radios to groups for validation is something I've done on a global (all of form) scale, but I can't figure how to be explicit to a div. The code below works, but only on individual radios, not groups. I've included a few buttons outside the div for effect. Oh, and the final product won't have alerts, it will be used to trigger a hidden div elsewhere in the form.

I'm having a problem with my radio buttons. On FF and Chrome they work just fine, but in IE, they does'nt appear as sellected. In other words: they do their job, but when you click'em, they stay unckeched. The genetarion code:

I have a set of radio buttons each with an onclick event that has a numeric value. When the button is clicked an input box called "Total" is updated with the new value. The problem I'm having is that if a radio button is checked and one clicks on it again then the onclick event is triggered.

I am disabling an input button on my data entry form until all of the data validates correctly. When I enable the button it does not always display the same as the Cancel button that was not disabled. Ioccasionally appears asthoughthe mouse is hovering over it. It will open when the page comes up, but how do I put it so that it opens when the user clicks a button?
I am attempting to pass a value from child to parent window. My issue is that I can't get the value of my radio button to the parent when there is more than one radio button. I get a result of "undefined".

I am trying to produce a web form to allow wedding guests to RSVP. The form allows them to enter a name and select from a radio button whether they will be attending or not. If they select the "yes" radio button then a further pair of radio buttons are displayed for their meal preference.
They can then click a submit button or they can click another button to add another line for another guest which operates in exactly the same way. I've almost got this working, but it seems that the checkbox change handler is lost for the current guest when a new guest is added and the checkbox value is reset. I've got a feeling I'm doing something stupid but can't for the life of me figure out what.

I have it set up so that there are three frames (frames and the use of javascript are encourage for practice) "bar" on the left with navigational options, "main" in the center where the body of the drill is presented, and "feedback" along the bottom where the feedback will appear.
My issue is that I have everything working except the form! I'm not sure how to make it so that upon clicking the submit button the feedback is presented in the "feedback" frame. This was suggested to me but isn't working, maybe I have a mistake somewhere? Or is there another way I can do this?
