Comparing Array Values To Select Unique Array Elements?
Apr 10, 2010This one is throwing me off! Either I am making a stupid mistake or I'm doing it totally wrong I have an array, and I am trying to select unique values from it and assign it to another array. Here is the code:

The problem is that the if (pdfs2[j] == pdfs[i]) statement ends up never being true. There are URL's to pdf files in the array. On the other side, if there is a much easier way to select unique values from an array, please feel free to point it out.

and I recently switched from IE to Safari, which honors this. I'd like
my account number to be filled in automatically like IE did (please, no
comments on whether this is a good idea or not, I've already had this
discussion in another group and I've decided the account number is not
something I consider a big secret, since it's visible on every check --
that's what the PIN is for).
I'm trying to do this with a bookmarklet. The following works to fill
in the account number and move focus to the PIN field:
document.Login.userNumber.value=﾿?'
document.Login.password.focus()
(newlines included to make the post easier to read, they're not in the
actual bookmarklet).
But this requires me to use two bookmarks, a regular one to load the
site, and this one to fill in the field. I'd like a single bookmarklet
that does both steps at once. I tried:

What am I missing?

Jan 25, 2010I have a form that has 50 text fields and a corresponding hidden field for each of these.
i.e. textfield1 hiddenfield1 etc. When the textfield has data entered it calls a script but I want the script to change the corresponding hidden field but am stuck as to how to do this.
I have the following function which gets called:

How to get this work work. Where I have ['use_role_'+currentRole] the currentRole should be replaced with the number (1 - 50) so as to change use_role_23 if currentRole is 23.
Prefill A Contact Form When Link Is Clicked
Feb 28, 2010So I looked it up online and found a solution or two on how to fill a text area with a contact form by clicking a link, however I have only problem here. I need to prefill the form from a different page. I am using the easy calendar php script which allows me to add html into the events field (however I dont have my heart sent on using this script) What i would like to do is allow the users to look at an event and then RSVP by clicking on the event that they would like to RSVP for and be forwarded to my CONTACT form page. THen the contact form will be prefilled with the event information in one text box, and the other text boxes will be empty where the visitor will enter their name and contact info.

I'm then doing this to evaluate for each degree

There is a unique 1 to 1 relationship between each degree and array so I can't consolidate as the values for each degree differ slightly.

I'm having an issue with displaying data from one array that contains information about users in a table that is controlled by a different array.Is it possible to do this or is this use of arrays to display the data the wrong approach?
The table is located on one webpage, I simply want to extract one piece of information that I have placed in the initial array as part of the login script that contains user information (for validation for login etc) and display it in a table on the new webpage that is opened as a result of successful validation of the user details. I'm completely stumped and after many attempts I just can't seem to get it to work.

The function takes as parameter the table previously created and return it containing an additional element whose value is the name that the visitor wants to add. I do this so I can loop through the values in php... now...that's the easy part... the hard part comes to this:
Next to each of those boxes is a search button that allows the user to open up a popup window that they can search for an item, and select the item. Once they select the item it should populate that particular input box with the selected item. I can easily do this with a uniquely named input box, but can't seem to figure out how to do it with an array of input boxes...

I want to be able to first grab the left position of the elements and when they like a left arrow want to take this left number value and subtract it by a number and if the the right arrow is pressed then it will add a number to the left number value.Is this possible and if so how can I do this?
