I built this worksheet generator. When you generate a worksheet, it seems to work fine in IE8, but in firefox, it stays loading. The little loading icon never goes away. Also, when you look at the print preview, the problems don't appear on the first page, they appear on the second page.
My only guess as to why firefox stays loading forever when you generate a worksheet is maybe the onSubmit = false I put in the form?
So I have a print page that's written in a combination of php & html. The body tag is outside the php with an onload="window.print();window.close;"
The idea behind this print page is when the print button is pressed on the parent window, it generates this child window that is specifically made larger for printing reports that people can read easily. I use css for text styles and the table "width" is longer.
All the html code inbetween the body tags is created by php using the php "Print" function. </head>
My problem is it does not print the table dimension or the font size above a certain size. When I print in landscape, which is what this page is designed for, it prints the same size as "scaled to fit" portrait. On the screen the size is correct and if I use the browser print button, it prints to the correct size.
The css works, it will make changes and will even make the text smaller just won't print over a certain size (9pt?).
How is made that toolbar on this site always stays on the botom of the page. (So, when we log in, on this site will appears toolbar. When we scroll down, this toolbar stay, it doesn't move anywhere, it stay on the bottom.)
I'm using the Google Maps API (v 2) to display my phones last known location on a map. On this 'bare bones' page, the Google Maps tiles load correctly, without any jerking:

However, on my customised page, the tiles jerk and slide around (try dragging the map and zooming out). This is particularly evident on Safari and Chrome.

I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. The Web Developer script analyser is not returning any errors and I'm really at a loss to understand where I'm going wrong!
I'm working at a college in Michigan and we have an issue with the files not loading correctly for our website. The issue appears to be a javascript problem. When I try to access a page, it will load, but the javascript functions for instance will show up on the page as if it is just html text. So I right-clicked the page, clicked "view source" and when the source code for the file opens up it shows the javascript portion in the head section as: <disabled-script type="disabled-text/javascript"> function somefunction(){} </disabled-script>
However, the code I have in the file of course is written as: <script type="text/javascript"> function somefunction() {} </script> I do not have javascript disabled on my browser or anything, so that is not the issue. For some reason it appears it is getting disabled though on page load.
I have a problem with the scrollbar. i want to stay in a certain point after click in a onclick event. this is not happened and my scroll bar goes on the top of my page. what i can do? code...
I'm having a long page where there will be content to be printed.
I'm using the css using media=print to hide all the unwanted contents and using the window.print method to invoke printing.
But when i click the print button it prints only partial content upto a single page and all the remaining contents are discarded.
I wonder what may be the problem!!!
And there's another problem , i've bills to be printed in order but dont want them to be breaking in between pages .(ie a bill should be printed fully if there is enough space at the bottom or should be printed on the next page)
Hey all. I am currently putting together a test page of mine where a popup window comes up showing a coupon that I will have a link enabling them to print it simply and easily.
For my current code I have a simple <a href="javascript:window.print()"> that works great on both Internet Explorer 5 and Netscape 4/6 on the PC but for some reason, Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh doesn't do a thing.

I had posted this issue previously regarding my Ajax site navigation module not loading correctly. It would load on certain parts of the site and not others. After some research I have discovered that I need to redirect from "www.mydomain.com" and make a call to "mydomain.com" instead. I thought a 301 .htaccess redirect would work but according to the site that sold me the template the script in my configure.php file must be changed. This is what configure.php looks like now.
I am wondering what has to be changed in the script so it will make the call the the correct domain so the ajax script will load on all parts of the site.
I have a site that is very jQuery and image heavy. The main sections of the site link to sections that are built with several Tabs, and as it loads, you briefly see all the content load and then it is hidden by the Tabs code.
The plan is to have a full window DIV that sits above all the content with a loading icon that plays until the entire page loads, and then it fades down.
After some hair pulling and research I have code in place that does exactly as I ask, however it does not seem to work in IE6+7. It works in all other browsers.
I have a lot of javascript functions that request information from an iframe hidden on the page. I see other sites do this, but their browser does not do the loading action (like the processing circle in Firefox). When I do it on my site, each browser shows the loading icon, as if a page was loading. Is it possible to not have this?

I am sorry if this is a stupid question. I have never really used javascript before. I found some code online that I tried to piece together so I might not even be going about this the right way.
I want the background to take up 100% and resize with the browser. That works fine. I also want the text "welcome to the ahi life" stick to the bottom left hand corner and the enter button to stick to the bottom right. I would like these to resize with the browser as well. It all kind of works, except the first time you load the page the text and the button are much smaller than I would like them to be. If you refresh the page everything is correct.
I have an embedded video set in an iFrame (the page is called on.php). When someone clicks the stop video button, the iframe is re-directed to off.php, and the video is replaced with a play video button -- which when clicked takes them back to the video (on.php).
What I want to do is install a cookie that will permanently 'remember' which page the user has selected (on.php or off.php)... and then from that point forward will always load the appropriate page.
I've seen all sorts of tutorials about setting cookies and stuff, but nothing that would clue me in on how to accomplish what I'm trying to do specifically.
I'm not sure is this is a CSS issue or one that can be solved with JavaScript, but I'm having a problem with this page URL...where the text on the four flyer images aren't being positioned correctly upon the uploading of the page. However, when you refresh again, it positions correctly. At first I thought this was a caching issue on my computer, but it did the same thing on someone else's.I'm a perfectionist (as you all are as well ) and I don't like things moving around or being out of position.If it doesn't happen on your computer when you first upload it, try it again because it's an on and off thing.
I have created a party-events website. Which displays a lot of dates of events. As you might understand this page takes some time to load. Therefor I want some of loading image to be displayed while the page is loading. Anybody has an idea how to pull this of? I don't know how.
In detail: People come to my website. They click on "events" and a loading.gif pops up and and makes the background darker. After the page has completely loaded the loading image disappears and the website shows.
What is the easiest way to print only parts of a page. I have a mail order page that lists the products ordered and the customers information, plus buttons and instructions. I all the info is correct I want the user to press a print button, but only want the items ordered and cust info to print, none of the buttons or instructions.
I read that I can use a hidden frame and print this frame but wanted to avoid frames. Is there another way?
I'm running a script for my ecommerce website. I'd like to modify a button that brings up a customer's invoice as a webpage to instead print out that page (not the current page) and not leave the page I am currently on. Is there a way to do this in javascript? I'm assuming window.print() can only be used for the current page?
I've scrollable screen. I'm having a print button on it and "window.print()" function is called on its onclick event.My problem is it only prints the "viewable" part of the screen, not the whole screen.P.S. I'm using IE7 and it must work for IE7 atleast (for rest I'm not bothered).
We are offering a coupon for a free soft drink to everyone who fills out our survey. When the user hits the Submit button at the end of the survey, a page appears with the coupon and a Print button. Currently, the whole page prints, including headings and links. I would like to print only the coupon. This is made trickier by the fact that the coupon is customized for each person with the person's name and the date.
