Feb 21, 2011I'm trying to make my body content scroll at the same time as an iframe located within the body. This has to do with the age old problem of mouse focus on iframes. When my mouse reaches the iframe and it takes over focus, I would like the body to keep scrolling until the iframe is right at the top of the screen. After that I want to relinquish focus to the iframe. I don't mind if the iframe starts scrolling as soon as the mouse reaches it, so long as the main body keeps scrolling for a while.

Javascript Menu Below Logo
Jul 23, 2005I have a logo jpg and then a jpg which is a solid blue line. I am
trying to make my javascript menu load underneath these two. I have put
the src="menu.js" after the two jpg's in the code but it always loads
above them in the browser.
Is there a way of getting my menu as the third item down from the top
or will javascript always load to the top?

May 4, 2009I have a very strange issue which happens only on the Mac/Firefox 2 (and 3 I believe) : [URL] The top left logo (ball) is a simple flash 'spin' animation, that is activated using javascript via the navigation (onmouseover effect). This works fine on Windows - Firefox, IE and Mac - Safari. However on Mac/Firefox, the logo ball on page load simply DOES NOT APPEAR. However, when you simply SCROLL down or if you move your mouse over the navigation (which calls the flash), then the logo appears. Basically, it's really odd because the logo ball is there, but Mac/Firefox does not show it until you do something to the page, like scroll.

Jun 10, 2009I'm looking to create a screen where there's a box on the left and a box on the right. The left box contains names which can be moved to the box on the right. Between the two boxes will be two buttons, one labeled ">>" to move from left to right and the other labeled "<<" to move from the right to the left.
I've seen this many times but need to create one myself. At first I was thinking of using selection lists with a size of 20 to give it height and also set the width. Then, when a selection is highlighted, the user can click the buttons in the middle to move the selection from one box to the other. Using a selection list gives me access to each individual selection and on the click of the button, I can remove that selection from one list and append it to the other. The problem with this approach is that the grayed out scrollbar is visible. So, I was thinking of using a textarea and that is what brought me here. Does anyone know of such a tool before I try reinventing it?
