Slide Show Array Starts On Image 2?

The show auto starts on 01.jpg, which is the second slide in the slide show, so I created a fake 00.jpg to move the images up one. This works fine except image 08.jpg shows twice at the end.
Late Rendering Of Parameter In An Event Handler
Aug 12, 2011I have a javascript that dynamically changes the onclick event handler of a column in a table. It is like this:

I pass the cell ID to the onclick event handler in order to tell the onclick event handler where to put good data back to the cell. Unfortunately, the code above will pass the wrong cell ID to the onclick event handler. It will the cell ID of cell #3 instead of cell #2.
I can get around with this problem by making sure the value in the cell-ID variable doesn't change, like this:

Seem like the javascript run time module only passes the value in sCellID to the onclick event handler at the end of the function ChangeEventHandler(). And by the end of that function, the sCellID has the cell ID of cell #3. That may be why the onclick event handler gets the cell ID of cell #3 instead of cell #2. But what is the logic?

Both work on separate pages and puton the same page they still work however the submenu of the slide down menu does not. if I remove the style sheet that belongs to the gallery
Then the munu works, however (obviously) the page layout goes wrong. if i remove<h1 class="title">Alex Holland Perspective</h1> the menu works however page layout goes wrong andI loose my header

Oct 19, 2011I'm making a form with some fields. Once the form is submitted it updates the page with a new div containing the data entered without refreshing. Im using jquery form plugin. What I'd like to achieve is the new div(.record) to .slideDown. I guess I need to somehow specify the exact div by giving it an id or number. I'm not sure and why im here.
At the moment when i submit all of the divs(.record) are hidden with .hide, then they all slide down with .slide. Best i can understand is to hide the last div then slide down. But again.. I don't know how to specify to only slide down the last div added and not the current .record divs on the page.

Apr 27, 2010I am building a navigation which animates width on mouseover and revert it on mouseleave. That navigation also supports keypress/keydown actions, so it behaves like you hover with the mouse and additionally opens the submenu too. My problem is, when using the keydown (C) function, the menu opens up perfectly but when I mouseover then, it fires the 1. function and behaves like it should, it closes. I tried to stop that when just using keydown, but somehow I am stuck with it. Here comes the code:

JQuery :: Loading Image Before Operation Starts Not Working?
Jun 16, 2009i have following problem: When the user on my website presses a image link, I prevent the default behaviour, and toggle some table rows (show or hide them, depending on the the image src (closed.gif / opened.gif)). Since I got a lot of rows I run over and toggle, the function takes some time to process and the browser "hangs" in the meanwhile. Due to this I want to show the user that the operation is still in progress and want to change the image of the link to a load spinner until it is finished. So I thought that I just have to change the src URL of the image in advance and then start the function, but jQuery is ignoring the line and I don't know why? Here is the code I am using:

Jquery :: Unstyled Images Displayed For Second Before Cycle Starts
Apr 17, 2009I'm trying to implement the jQuery Cycle demo from 'mapsup dot com slash jquery'.It works, but my problem is that as the page loads all 3 images are shown briefly, one on top of the other. Once the page is fully loaded everything works OK. I've try removing all unnecessary CSS in an attempt to get it to load faster but it doesn't help. I'm running this on a Drupal site and have tried with caching enabled and disabled, but neither makes a difference, so I'm thinking the problem lies somewhere else. Jul 10, 2007I've seen websites that had large flash ads that covered content on pages that, after they had run, resized or disappeared.
We would like to use the technology behind that (presumably JavaScript) to show and hide an intro flash on a home page. We would like to have a "close" link on the flash also.
I have searched Google and here but haven't found any good resources and many of the sites I have seen using the technology are no longer using them. I just need a little assistance on the JavaScript part of the puzzle.
