2. set exactly this number to he h1 inner html in fron of the text?

I'm using a datepicker and I'm using $(this).html() to get the number of the day inside of a TD. What I want to do is take that number and add one to it. Every time I use var thenum = $(this).html()+1
I get something like 21 instead of 3. Is this possible? I've even tried using $(this).html().toString()

Each time I view a book's details, I can add it to my cart, where I can also alter it's quantity.

As you can see, each time I choose a book to add it to my cart, a new span will be created, to hold the info of this book. What I need to do with the ManageItem js function, is to update the total cost at the bottom of the page, but I can't seem to be getting anywhere.

Here is a substring that returns the number ( the 3 ) successfully...

Seems very ineffecient to do it this way, and better to find a lean elegant
way using replace(); How does one go about getting a value inside of a
string with regular expressions? .. or is there a better way?

I m able to do pagination. But I face another challenge where I once click next,prev or page number,it will refresh the accordion. let say i got 3 headers of accordion.namely A,B,C. After clicking any function in either B or C. It will auto refresh to header A. is it due to I destroy my accordion each time I called?

That navigation also supports keypress/keydown actions, so it behaves like you hover with the mouse and additionally opens the submenu too. My problem is, when using the keydown (C) function, the menu opens up perfectly but when I mouseover then, it fires the 1. function and behaves like it should, it closes. I tried to stop that when just using keydown, but somehow I am stuck with it. Here comes the code:

i have following problem: When the user on my website presses a image link, I prevent the default behaviour, and toggle some table rows (show or hide them, depending on the the image src (closed.gif / opened.gif)). Since I got a lot of rows I run over and toggle, the function takes some time to process and the browser "hangs" in the meanwhile. Due to this I want to show the user that the operation is still in progress and want to change the image of the link to a load spinner until it is finished. So I thought that I just have to change the src URL of the image in advance and then start the function, but jQuery is ignoring the line and I don't know why? Here is the code I am using:

I'm trying to implement the jQuery Cycle demo from 'mapsup dot com slash jquery'.It works, but my problem is that as the page loads all 3 images are shown briefly, one on top of the other. Once the page is fully loaded everything works OK. I've try removing all unnecessary CSS in an attempt to get it to load faster but it doesn't help. I'm running this on a Drupal site and have tried with caching enabled and disabled, but neither makes a difference, so I'm thinking the problem lies somewhere else. So i want a text box for the first number and text box for the second. a button to click to play the game(roll the dice) button to start over and reset all values textbox to display the # of tries(rolls) textbox 2 display the # of wins. Also i want toKeep track of the number of times the user rolls the dice and display this in the appropriate textbox and the number of times the user wins the game and display this in the appropriate textbox.
Well my friend helped me with this but he made 2 player i only want one player and i want the number of tries and win the user wins if the #s are equal and i want a start over button that resets everything. Also the max number i want is 6 and only one roll the dice button but 2 textboxes so if you get same # you win it should appear in alert and text box for tries and wins. Also, i am gonna have 2 pics one for the first textbox the other for the second both of the pics are gonna be dice and i am gonna have 12 pics but only 2 appear at a time so if a guy gets 5 the dice with the #5 appears and the other text gets 4 the dice with the # 4 appears
