I've been trying for the last 2 days to get this thing to call my getJSON and fetch a new set of records based on the carousel.last value when you click the next button. It loads 3 pictures on start up just fine but the next button is not enabled because I only have 3 loaded and there are no more lingering in the queue. I don't want any lingering.

I have implement jCarousel onto my website, my jCarousel has 8 items on each page, when user click "Next" button, then jCarousel will display item 9 until item 16. I want to execute a certain codes only when jCarousel is displaying item 1 to item 8. In other word, I want to execute the codes on 1st page only. In other word, I want to execute the codes before click the "next" button. How to do that? I not sure which 1 should I use? Should I use itemFirstInCallback or itemVisibleInCallback or buttonNextCallback? I refer to this website[URL]..jQuery/jCarousel/ but there is not example or guideline about how to use them. Can anyone guide me how to use those functions?

to take an array of variables in calling the function (ie sortScores), place these variables into an empty array("scores"), apply the bubble sort to scores, and then alert scores in sorted form. and for it to sort the records in descending order of the value of the "score" field. So the above call would alert:

I am trying to produce a web form to allow wedding guests to RSVP. The form allows them to enter a name and select from a radio button whether they will be attending or not. If they select the "yes" radio button then a further pair of radio buttons are displayed for their meal preference.
They can then click a submit button or they can click another button to add another line for another guest which operates in exactly the same way. I've almost got this working, but it seems that the checkbox change handler is lost for the current guest when a new guest is added and the checkbox value is reset. I've got a feeling I'm doing something stupid but can't for the life of me figure out what.

I want to call the click event of the link (anchor tag) on the click of the button. I used this code below in the click event of button to call links click event and it works fine in IE.

The above code does the click on link when I click on the button. But my problem now is that I have defined a link as

and when click is called and mailto links opens my email client, it somehow ignores the subject and body parameters of the link. What happens is that when I click on a button, a random string from the RandomString variable appears below the button. e.g I click on the button and it displays 'AAB' and then if I click on the button again it may display 'AAE' and etc.
The problem is that sometimes it displays 'undefined'. I don't wanit 'undefined' to appear but why does it sometimes display 'undefined' rather than a Random string.

The queries work but not together. If I comment the insert statement, my page executes the delete statement. I already tried to call another object for my delete statement but it does the same.

I need to somehow validate that if one of the dates is selected the time must be selected per property record before the bulk save can happen (or visa versa), if neither are selected it cane be left blank and addressed later. The PHP file "fetch.php" searches the database with the given JS variables, an x and y co-ordinate, through GET, and brings back the user id associated with those co-ordinates. So I then get that users information... I'm then trying to bring those PHP variables back into the AJAX call on the original page and display the results. Here's what I've got so far...

Everything is working fine, except one thing, I've check the php file and it does echo a username so I know there is a result being sent back from my query. It's just I can't seem to get the user_name_area and user_online_area to display the results from the fetch.php file. Am I parsing them correctly, do I have to assign them to a variable or is what I'm trying to do impossible? I've never attempted this whole json thing before and I seem to be having some problems with it.

1). Once my form posts, all the information stays in the post. How do I get it to blank. Is this where I set cache to false or is that something else?
2). I am using classic ASP and once I do my insert to sql server I retrieve the new record's ID, how do I get that returned back as part of the post?

OK so I've been searching for a week now for an example of pagination of data using jquery, ColdFusion and SQL server. I'm finding tons of examples using PHP and MySQL. Have any of you successfully got pagination working with Fusion and SQL Server? I am trying to run a report that could end up having thousands of results that I would like to paginate using jquery. Most of the pagination plugins though rely on you returning ALL of the results to the client first whether in JSON, XML or just straight to the browser as a table and then it paginates them. So if there are thousands of results this is not optimal. I'd like to try and get something working where as it paginates it goes to the database using Fusion and just grabs the next X records to display.

I am using jcarousel for a scrollable list of images (vertical). Unfortunately, when you try to scroll it the first time you enter the website its not working properly. Just when you try to visit the site the second time it the scrolling will work as intended (when cache deleted, again, it will not work). [URL]. To load the script earlier, I tried to already put it in the head of the index page (starting page), but this had no effect. The Problem is for IE and Firefox the same. I am using Dreamweaver CS4.
