I'd like to be able to get Superfish to expand the entire menu and show the current active link in pathlevel 2. I'm using the nav-bar style and it seems that only pathlevel 1 is visible:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using superfish for a drop down hover menu. It works perfect except I would like the sub menus to remain visible when one of the <a> tag from the menu has class="active". Here is a quick overview of the menu html:

If the current page is main -- class='active' is automatically added to the A tag (with Drupal). If you are currently in page2, the class='active' is added to the A tag of the sub-menu. Now, how can I get the sub menu to be always displayed -- regardless of superfish, either when item parent 1 A tag is set as class='active'of the item child A tag is set as class='active'.
I'm almost done customizing the Superfish jQuery menu to fit my web site theme. I have all of the menu hover and submenu hover styles in place, but I'm having a problem with the color of the top-level menu item's font when the submenu is expanded. The active top menu item's background matches the hover color, but when I hover overa submenu item, the font color reverts back to the original (non-hovered) color. How do I get the top level menu item's color to match its hover color when the submenu is expanded?

I have a 3-level menu using JQuery-Superfish. I would like to hover over the top-level menu item and have BOTH the 2nd and 3rd-level menus open automatically.

The problem is, that the links inside the table are not active. If i click them, the accordion is closing What do i have to do, to keep the links inside the open accordion as normal links, without closing the accordion?
I'm trying to get Superfish menus working on a new site I'm building, but have run into a problem. I have used the feature of setting a class on the current menu item so that it will be highlighted (highlit?). The trouble is that if the menu item has a submenu this submenu is displaying already opened when you hit the page.
I've set the menus up with the following options:

I have a spry accordion that I have inserted in Dreamweaver with 5 tabs for Monday-Friday.
How could I make the tab active depending on what day it is?
i.e: So if its Tuesday the Tuesday tab will be active.

Trying to expand / contract the contents of a div using show more / less. When I select 'more' the list expands and the action link is now set to 'less.'. When I select 'less', again, the list contracts as expected , but the action link is not resetting to 'more.' I can't seem to figure out where I'm going wrong....

It was originally an imaged based menu, but they wanted it all changed to css/html. I used quickmenu and it used JS to produce the arrows at the top of each menu item.I'm trying to program the menu items to stay active when on the current page. Line 2: It loops though all the <a> tags in an <UL> with id nav_prim. (The <a> tags are inside of <li>'s in the <ul>.
Line 3: I check to see if the <a> tag's href atribute is the same as the URL of the page, if it is
Line 4: i want that specific <a> tag's background-image to be images/nav_bg.gif.
I can't get it to work. In firefox i get the error " $("ul#nav_prim a")[i].css" is not a function.

I've got an accordion horizontal panel, and I have it set to display #accordion li:last - on page load. Then clicking on the panel lables will open other panels
my delimma is that on page load, the content of the active panel is not displayed until you click on its respective "label" I think I'm missing some code for the activeItem... I need it to show the content of that li tag on page load. ALSO, I've tried giving the li tag I want displayed first its own id, but had no luck with that.

The problem is that i can't add active class to the menu the same we did in the normal linked pages. For example, in css we can see .about .menu ul li .active a { color:#black} . This means the menu will be in black when the user is in the about page. I can't do like this in one page scroll menu as there is only one menu. Are there any ways to let the menu change (add active class)when i scroll to some specific part of the page?

I have problem, my superfish menu don't show arrows to sub-menu. I try to search on the forum, but I don't find something applicable. I try to disable every component on my site, put calling the function in try{} and catch the error, download new jQuery - 1.4.4, but nothing helps. I have inherited a site with superfish used as the menu which seems to work fine except that I wish to disable the links at the top level so that a click on the top level of the menu goes nowhere only clicks on the sub menu list. At the moment each top level menu item is a section and the sub menu list categories. There is nothing I need or want to place in the Section heading so a link from this is unnecessary but at the moment clicking on the top level (section) leads to a page i do not want.Example:-Top Level Section (no link to anywhere)2nd level Category 1 (link to article)3rd level Category 2 (link to article)etc.
Is this possible to do. I feel sure it should be as it is a normal facility on a drop down menu but I cannot find anywhere in the options which enables this. I am not sufficiently conversant with CSS to try playing with the current layout which other than this seems to be working ok.

In a nutshell, I need to set add/remove a class called 'active' to/from a link that is clicked within a DIV. So if the link has the class 'active' already assigned I need to remove it and vice versa however the issue I am having is that I have to double click the link in order for it to work!!
I'm using Superfish nav-bar menu which works just fine (it hides all submenus with their childs) But I also want to one sublink display all childs without need to hover over their parent.
