I have a set of input fields that can be dynamically duplicated/cloned or removed and submitted. I'm looking for a ways to configure the form for easy processing without having to loop through each input field inside the divs:

There are two input fields in a form, but only one of them is required, they are not required at the same time. Either A or B is required. ( A is required OR B is required). In other words, a user can input data to field A, or he can input data to filed B, but he can not input data to Both A and B at the same time. How to implement this constraint in Jquery form validation?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having some jQuery troubles whereby I have some jQuery that toggles an 'Other' HTML input field and associated label when a user selects the value Other from a HTML select drop down. I have this working for one field but the application I am building has increased in scope whereby there may be multiple instances of members on one page so the Other option will be there multiple times. At the moment if a user selects Other from one drop down all Other input fields show. How do I make this exclusive without repeating the jQuery for the separate instances?

I am having a form with a drop down and want to display the fields below it based on the drop down value selected.

Here is what I have now, but I need something which can pass HTTP_REFEREER.
The window.open does not do that.
I have a form that has a reset button, and when it's closed, the form is reset. However, at least in testing on my own machine, I notice that the form fields are remembering past input (on Firefox 4 anyway). Once this goes public, I don't want the form remembering anything in case the website is viewed on a public machine. How can I keep the form fields from remembering any past input?

Now the problem is i don't wan't to limit my users to let's say 5 iage links, i would like to make somthing that will alow them to add as much input fields as they won't and then when they submit that they get the proper slideshow code with as those fields. so if anybody now's how to do this i would me more thank thankfull.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a large form. One part of it is a column with selects. All drop-downs initially set to "No". The only other option is "yes". I need to make sure that at least one select is set to "yes". Any number, even all of them can be changed to "yes", but only one is required. I can easily add a rule that requires all the fields of the certain class to have certain type of value, but can't think of a way in js to only have one required. I can easily count number of "yes" values with PHP and prevent submitting on the back end, but would really like to have jquery do it first.

Each text input will have A or B written in by the user, which should automatically place that letters associated ID in its partner field. If any other letter is entered the ID will automatically be left blank.
With the above code I'd need to repeat it over and over for each of the dozens of input fields. The final version wont be using simply A/B either but around 50 possible inputs each with their own ID which would make around 1000 possible variations.
Am integrating a Barclays epdq shopping cart into an existing website, part of the regulations with this system is that you can only submit from one 'allowed url'. To enable access from multiple url's I need to create a 'jump page'.
This needs to be a simple page that takes any variables posted to it and re-posts them (onload) onto the epdq shopping cart.
The problem is I am unable to populate the form dynamically and submit onload. I have tested and it all works fine if hardcoded. :confused:

I am trying to make a form that has 1 box that asks how many designs a customer wishes to order, then based upon that number, reveals that many pairs of text boxes below; one should be with the label, �name of design, while the other should be with the label quantity of design. That way, if a user enters 4, four pairs of these boxes will appear, asking him specific names and quantities
If I set up a variable quantity to the value of the text box, I think I should be able to loop like,

I made this function to duplicate form elements with a little html-code surrounding the input fields. First i clone the html of the first child found (always gets rendered by php). Then, everytime the add-button is pushed, i append a cloned piece of that stored html. It's working fine except for the delete button.
It's seems that whenever a cloned html is removed, the other cloned elements aren't recognized anymore by the delete buttons (although the delete buttons are in them)
I'm now working on kind of invoice form which in it the user can add as much input field as he wants.
The problem is that after adding a new input field - the content in the other fields is deleted.
