I've managed to output the text of my two arrays to a specific div (in this case the div's id is ''number') - BUT I'm only seeing the last data from each array (it's a train number and a train name) so instead of getting the entire list from 800 to 870 and the associated names I'm just getting the last pairing which in his case is 870 Zulu.

I have been using JQuery from last 1 year with IBM RAD 7.0 as IDE and WebSphere 6.1 as app Server without any problem.Now my development environment is upgraded wtih IBM RAD 7.5 and WebSphere 7.0 server.After writing the code in jsp within <JavaScript> tags as [code]i am getting the following error.The function $(HTMLDocument) is undefined.I have included jquery-1.4.2.min.js and even replaced with jquery.min.js.But there is no use.

With the above code, i want to add the "active" class to the <li> tag related to the current page. "get_cur_page" is an ASP function that returns the page so if you are on the page J it will return J.asp.
I cant get this code to work, the goal is to have the "active" class applied to the <li> tag surrounding the active page's link in the menu.

it seems like an amazing tool once I figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the awesome datePicker plugin, but am just not getting something right. I can't seem to be able to get datepicker to do more than one thing.To help myself figure out what Im doing wrong, I created a very simple example:

basically #girl fades in #girllinks, then if the mouse moves out of #girl #girllinks should fade away after 1.5 seconds. that works fine however, i want it so if the mouse moves out of #girl and into #girllinks then the menu will not fade away.
Below is the distillation of code with which I am having troubles. The code works, but I am sure that there must be a better way of doing things.
This simple program displays two boxes. When the user mouses over either box, all boxes are returned to their original state, a zIndex of 2 is applied to it, then the box expands partially over the other box. This works fine.
However, I am using setTimeout to coordinate the setting of the zIndex value, which is something that I would think would better be accomplished through a callback. The problem is that I do not know if a called function can take a callback (I have tried without success).[code]...

Has this issue been addressed? I tried all the combinations I could think of and the setting is ignored if a value is negative. but it returns undefined in both firefox and chrome for some reason! All other attributes are displayed fine with the above code... is this a bug in jQuery? using the latest version. Is there a workaround?
I'm calling blockUI and then running ajaxForm on my whole page form. BlockUI is firing an overlay (with form field content) but only after the form has been ajaxed. Because of this my fields aren't seen as in the form and so subsequent form submits fail. Firebug says: form is null, /assets/js/jquery.form.js, Line 364 (form.clk = this;) The longer version:The javascript for these events are being returned to taconite within<eval> blocks. They are coming back in the below order: blockUI on whole page I then call a custom function which contains the "$('#page- form').ajaxForm({ dataType: 'xml' })"; When I alert inside that custom function it occurs before any blockui overlay is shown. I'm surmising that this is breaking the form submit for elements within the blockui message (which are actually already on page but hidden).
I've tried adding alerts before and after blockui is called and they run in the correct order so I'm guessing that perhaps blockui queues itself to run somehow. BlockUI doesn't have any after block callbacks that I'm aware of. I'm wondering if I can add a beforeSubmit callback to the ajaxForm method that calls itself to update the form but that just feels a bit dirty. I use the framework that I've put together extensively and it's only when adding blockui that I have this issue so I'm (at least fairly) sure that it's not a PEBKAC issue.

I use jquery to cause the Div to slide into existence when the link is clicked. What im trying to do now is make it so that, when an image is clicked from within the div, that it slides out of existence again.

That code works great for the menu, making the div slide into and out of existence. However the menu is a drop down menu and I'd like to be able to close the div without having to go back to the menu. So I tried putting an image into the content that gets loaded, with a link similar to the ones in the menu, but when it gets clicked nothing happens.
I've tried a number of different things, from creating a special function for it, to assigning extra classes and trying to catch the click by the images class instead of its ID, ive made sure that clicking on the image was working but inserting an Alert and that worked, but the slideup/down did not.
