Jun 2, 2011I'm in love with the David Chipperfield Architects site and would like to try and get some of the features from the site working with jQuery instead of Flash I'm sure most of it is pretty achievable but I'm new to javascript and jQuery so I'm not sure where to start.The navigation and the way the content loads are the main things I want to try and implement.

customer wants to have a flash film on his very first site which
already has to have this navigation.
And now the effect: Whenever the flash film is running, the navigation
submenus are not displayed ABOVE this flash film, but BEHIND it.
As far as I have tried, there is no way to influence this behaviour
with the "z-index" and different values.
Is there any other way to make the navigation submenu seen or - in
other words - is there a way to put the flash film "a layer back"?

The issue we now have is that our clients are using mobile platforms more and more and as bloody Apple wont support flash (not fully anyway) we need the option to detect whether our users have flash and if not then replace the current <OBJECT>Blah Blah Parameters etc</OBJECT> with <DIVCLASS="NON_FLASH_CONTAINER">All other bits in middle</DIV>Is this at all possible?

Mar 11, 2010I have created no flash pages and flash pages, but instead of creating a portal at the front of the site that leads you to a flash site and a no flash site id like to do it so the page detects flash or not, and redirects to whichever URL.
Is this possible, or do multiple browsers cause problems ?

JQuery :: Can't Scroll To The Top - Navigation
Jul 25, 2011I've got a fixed header that about is 150px in height and I want the scrolling content to start after the header (top:150px)
On theinitialload, the page displays correctly. But when I use the navigation to scroll up and down, it seems like the page wants to skip the top 150px. In other words, if I click 'home' the div scrolls to the top of the browser window (disregarding the 150px) - the scroll bar stopping short of where I want it to go. You can see it here:[URL]
I tried do it another way, by wrapping things in multiple windows, but when I did that, the scroll bar didn't move with the page. Content stayed exactly where I wanted it, but the vertical scroll bar didn't move with the content. You can see it here:[URL]
Can't tell if it's a jQuery or a CSS issue that I'm missing. I'm not emotionally attached to either one of these processes, but I do need the content to stay 150px from the top of the page, as well as, the vertical scroll bar to move with the content.

I have the following script that swaps out the images on mouseover and mouseout to create "hover" effect.
The issue is when I try to set the src attribute of the image that has been clicked the image does not change. The first part of the click event is working and resets the src of all the images as expected, but the second part that sets the src for the image clicked does not either run or runs before the reset.
