JQuery :: Content - Scrolls The Divs To Show The Div Relating To The Nav Clicked

Oct 23, 2010

I have this demo site here [URL] It's a simple div with overflow: hidden this containing div houses 3 divs each containing different content. The nav at the top scrolls the divs to show the div relating to the nav clicked. The problem I have is with the last btn - Planes. The div containing the planes photos doesn't scroll to the top of the containing div but sits at the bottom. The first two btns. work as expected so I don't understand why the last btn doesn't.

JQuery :: Cycle Plugin Different Pager Text Relating To Content?

Aug 18, 2011

I'm building a jQuery cycle slideshow into a Wordpress post. The slideshow will cycle through images attached to the post, and the final slide will always be a text box (generated by a meta box).

I'm trying to build a Pager that would display numbers (as per default), but for the last slide, the pager button would simply be "Text".

e.g.

1 2 3 4 5 Text

I have explored PagerAnchorBuilder but am still struggling.

JQuery :: Show Two Separate Divs, Hide Divs On One Click?

Aug 19, 2009

I'm looking for some javascript to work with wordpress (jQuery preferrably) that will show/hide multiple divs on one click.

I had one working but it was kinda janky because it was causing me to have two divs with the same ID on one page. No good.

Since I updated to wp2.8.3 prior to launch, it's not working. So I've decided to just try and do it right.

Here's a page: [URL]

So, what I want to happen: On page load, the first tab: "general" and it's corresponding div beneath should be showing. And the first image should be showing. The other content divs and images should be hidden. I've given the text content divs a dashed border to show their borders. When a visitor clicks "dine at home" the general div and image hide, the second content div shows, as does the second image (it's currently the identical image, but the client may change later.) Etc.

I'll be using this function on a few other pages as well.

how to adjust this javascript to work on two different IDs at once?

current code:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript" charset="utf-8">
$(function () {
var tabContainers = $('div.imgswap > div');

JQuery :: Hiding Multiple DIVs When Table Row Clicked

Feb 18, 2010

{foreach key=num item=account from=$accounts}
<div id="info">
<div class="box round">
<table cellspacing="1" class="data">
<tr onclick="javascript: $('#info').hide('fast'); $('#{$account.id}details').slideDown('slow');" style="cursor:pointer;">
<td>{$account.regdate}</td>
<td>{$account.product}<br /><a href="http://{$account.domain}" target="_blank">{$account.domain}</a></td>
<td>{$account.nextduedate}</td><td>{$currencysymbol}{$account.amount} {$currency}</td>
<td><a>View Details {$account.id}</a></td></tr></table></div></div>

I need the info div to hide when the the table row is clicked:
<tr onclick="javascript: $('#info').hide('fast'); $('#{$account.id}details').slideDown('slow');" style="cursor:pointer;">
This is what I'm using to hide it. But because I have multiple divs called info that I need hidden it is not working currently its only hiding the first div called info.

JQuery :: Hiding/showing Divs - Hide The Currently Shown Div And Then Slide In The Div Associated With The Button Clicked?

Oct 7, 2010

I awhen it comes to "developing" jQuery but I am trying to do something that is seemingly something simple but I can't for the life of me, figure out the best way to do it.

http:[url].....

Here, you'll see the area below the navigation that has five buttons which are supposed to help scroll between the five associated divs.All I want to do is hide the currently shown div and then slide in the div associated with the button clicked.http:[url].....Here is what the animation is SUPPOSED to look like but the problem is is that the correct one uses Prototype and I am trying to use only one library and jQuery is the most suitable because I use it for other effects in the site and jQuery and Prototype obviously don't mesh well.

Invoke FancyBox When One Of Coupon DIVs Clicked

Aug 30, 2010

I am working on building a page at [URL]. As you can see I have several DIVs made to look like coupons. I would like to invoke fancybox when one of these coupon divs is clicked. Fancybox would load some html displaying the full details of the coupon and would have a button to allow you to print it. The html for the fancybox could either be an inline hidden div or pulled via ajax but I am unclear on how I could get fancybox to fire when I click on a div rather than on a link. I know that what I have is not correct because without the href I am not sure how to specify what to launch.

JQuery :: Swap The Content Within A Div Without Affecting The Other Divs With The Same Class?

May 28, 2010

I like the user to be able to swap between them by clicking the 'more' and 'close' links. The problem with what I wrote is that it applies to all the divs on the page instead of the specific one that was clicked. What can I change to correct it?

$('div.desc > p.desc-full').hide();
$('a.more').click(function() {
$('div.desc > p.desc-trunc').slideUp('fast');

JQuery :: Tabs : All Content Divs Showing At Same Time

Apr 2, 2009

For some reason, when my first div loads, I'm seeing all 3 text show up even though they're in different <div> containers:

<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#Tabs').tabs({ fx: { opacity: 'toggle'} });
});

[Code].....

Here's a print screen: [URL] so you can see that for some reason all of that text is showing up at the same time. Do I need to hide the other divs first? I even tried that with adding $('#Tabs div0').hide(); // Hide all divs but it did not help. I would assume out of the box, it would hide the rest of the divs for me and only show the default first.

JQuery :: Trigger To Show 2 Divs ONLY When A Another Div Is Shown?

Jun 28, 2011

I am modifying some code. Unfortunetly, some of it is dependent on "other" code I don't have access to.

In a nutshell.

I have something like...

Code:
<div id="topnoshow" style="visibility: hidden;">some top content</div>
<div id="actiondiv" style="visibility: hidden;">

This div shows when some data is returned by the app. We have some js that grabs etc.. formats it etc.. and finally shows this div (see below).

</div>
<div id="bottomnoshow" style="visibility: hidden;">some bottom content</div>

So, those three divs are hidden, but the middle div is generating data etc... and eventually it will show (or maybe not).. BUT, I only wanna show these divs:

topnoshow
bottomnoshow

WHEN actiondiv is show(). I can't use a periodic executor OR add some code to the file that determines when to show "actiondiv".. but there is an event trigger set (see below).

The CODE I CAN'T MODIFY HAS THIS:

Code: jQuery('#actiondiv').trigger('actionmodule:loaded');

Can I somehow, in my file, do something off of that event? .trigger('actionmodule:loaded')

I'm using ajax to get multiple vars from a database and would like to show the vars in different parts of my page but everything is shown all in the same spot with the div.

An example is I'm pulling a home number and an email from a database and want to show them in different spots.

I have it working but I have to make a seperate ajax(), url, for each var which I don't think is very efficient!

JQuery :: Show / Hide Divs Using Toggle?

May 24, 2011

Completely new to jQuery but I am trying to implement a few pieces on my new website. At the moment I have three images in a row and I want to be able to click on any one of the images and use jQuery to populate a hidden div below the three images that contains more info and slide it out using the fold animation. I'd also like it if when a second image was clicked it closed the currently open div and opened the new one. I've seen tutorials that open the divs but can't find one that closes them again on opening a new one.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial that does this or suggest how it could be done?
