JQuery :: Changing Style On Series Of DIV Depending On Children

How to change style on a series of divs (with similar structure but different content) *only if* all the children are visible (that's using visibility, not display).
Sample div:

<p class="b3">text text</p>

<p class="link_display_none_visibility_visible">div name</p></div>
I think it needs to use contents(), but not sure about handling node numbers.
I'm trying to create a list that contains items which are filters for a search. The list shows 10 items (max) on the page load. if there are more than 10 it changes the class of the elements > 10 so they are hidden, and a 'show more' link is appended. Now if the user has 'unhidden' the previously hidden items and then chooses one, I want the class for all those previously hidden items to change until the user has deselected that item.

Is there a better, smaller way to write this? It works for what i need currently, but there are future features im planning that will not be practical checkingindividualindexes the way i've done it.
I want to have <div> cells that the background-color css style dynamically change between 4 colors depending on how many times they are clicked. The options are none, yellow, red and green then repeat. So when the page loads, they are all at none, and if you click once it goes to green, twice to yellow, three times to red, then back to none.
i'm new to jquery and am not real familiar with javascript. I have a color picker on my page that puts the hex value in an input box. I'm not familiar with jquery or javascript in general. I would like to be able to take the hex value and use it in updating a style of a div onkeyup or onchange...say the border color for example. Something like this...but this isn't working.

i have a div which has an id in that i have a div which has a class name then i have a table in the second div and in that i have few links (ie. <a href=...</a>)
I am attempting to change the style after the user has loaded the page(every x number of seconds) but the element just doesn't seem to berefreshing. I have done all of the checking, and it seems like it ischanging it but it isn't showing that on the page.
I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...
I've been testing using the code below but wondered if anyone had any ideas on how this could be done easily?
I have two text boxes one with months in "January, Febuary..." but as not every month has the same ammount of days i need the second select box to change to instead of having options 1-30 it has 1-28 or what ever depending on what month is selected.
I want a text box which is only visible if the preceding drop down box has a certain option selected. Does anyone know how to do this or where I might be able to find the appropriate code?
I have a form that I am using for several different pages as they are exactly the same... however at the top you must make a choice from the drop down box that then shows the appropriate fields to fill in. Can I make the drop down default to a certain option depending on which page they are coming from?
This is what I want to achieve: a fixed positioned div next to my content area where the text changes depending on the section of the content area the user is reading. Can this be achieved, and how?
How do I check the status of a style? I thought something like this would work, but no joy:divTest = document.getElementById('link_container'); if (document.divTest.style.display == "none") {}
This does not work. Not sure what I am missing. Basically I want to toggle the none/block value in the style on the span class below based on the browser detection script.
I am building a schedule web page and before I just had it use plain static HTML and CSS to control the styling. I wrote some javascript that goes through the table's rows, then cells (double for loop), and if the cells innerHTML == "" then the style class is changed. I do have some working code, however it only works in IE. Here's a copy of the script:

I am trying to get the color of the list item 'SUBJECTS' to turn red on mouse over. I think my syntax must be wrong but I don't know how so. What can I do to fix it?
I'm currently putting javascript function onto a page to swap the content between 2 divs onclick- when one is visible one is hidden and vice versa (they are in the same place to create a tabbed browsing effect).

I change image.style.width inside a image.onload function. And surprisingly, I found that it runs the onload function on the same image again with the new style.width value. Javascript treats this as a new image! This is the same old image.
Is there a way to pervent it from runing onload the second time?
