I'm attempting to display the output of the radio selection into the textbox.
For example, if the user selects 0-15 then display "Your age group is 0-15 years" in the text area.
i get the basic logic. i just dont understand how to display the value in the textbox. heres what i have so far if it will clarify my issue. code...
I have a form setup so that selecting a radio button opens a specific text field. The problem is if the user starts to enter information, then switches to a different radio button (perhaps they chose the wrong radio to start), the text they already started to enter on the previous textfield doesn't get cleared. This will be a problem later when inserting to sql.

I would also like to include a 3rd value, another number, and add that one in a separate calculation.
E.g. For "50 5850ati1gb 56" I would like one calculation which adds 50 to the total, another calculation adding 56 to a different total and 5850ati1gb added to a list of all of the components.

The following code will output numerical values only for the <label>. I need it to display text with multiple characters. For example: I own two exceptional chickens...I own four or more chickens...etc. Again the code works perfectly but only for numbers.

1. When I have the "<textarea>" code lines in it put a text-area on the page, but it puts all of the code following that first text-area line into the text-area box and doesn't execute that segment of code.
2. When there is no "<textarea>" (for the sake of seeing if the rest of it worked) it doesn't check the survey.

How come the onClick="T1.value=group1.value" results in undefined instead of 5 (or 10) ?
I see in a book how to use javascript functions from radio buttons to display text into a form textbox, but what I want to do is instead of display text into a textbox, to display images positioned by CSS. I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value.
