Date Sorting In European Style "yyyy/mm/dd"
Jan 31, 2011I am trying to use JavaScript in conjuntion with html to display a table of sortable cities, states and dates. The dates are my problem. I am a novice and was given this code. But it seems to sort in European style, yyyy/mm/dd. I need it to sort mm/dd/yyy, which i am told is US style. I have placed a page here ([URL]) to let you see the code at work. This page has the code on it in text also. I do not mind posting the code hgere also if you prefer.

Nov 2, 2011I've been trying to do this since yesterday with no luck. I've tried stackoverflow, DIC and this is my last chance. I'm using drop down boxes to have a user select a ship date. I don't want them to be able to choose a date in the past however. May 26, 2011We have a little callendar on our website. I have set the format of the date to "dd-mm-y" because I want the date to be saved europian, not american. When comfirming the form, the date is saved as 0000-00-00. The date shows correctly on the form itself. I have two scripts: Calendar.js and Calendar-en-GB.js. Calendar-en-GB.js contains the 'settings'. (Including date format). I can't figure out the problem and thought maybe one of you could. I have uploaded the scripts in one .zip file: [URL]

I wish to ammend it so that the time or h:m:s part is validated only if

validates the time, however I don't know the syntax to make it
optional.

Sortable Table Incorrectly Sorting Date Column?
Nov 4, 2009found a script here that allows for sortable tables in HTML, and for the most part, it works great. But with my date field, it either sorts alphabetically (Aug->Sept), or, if I change Names to Numbers (Jan=1, Feb=2, etc) the sort order becomes 1, 10, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (I only have Jan-Oct dates). I think I have to tell my script to interpret my numbered dates as text, but like I said I'm new to JS and wouldn't know where to begin. Javascript [URL]

I have changed the doctype of the page several times, including the exact one they use on the sample/instruction page on DD, but no luck. It is also throwing an error of undefined var ddaccordion, which is defined in ddaccordion.js, which is the JS file that goes with sample page , which is located in the same directory.
