I am trying to insert a row with values bases on input fields on submit. However when you submit, it is adding table rows to every table in the document. I have been struggling with this. I have tried using $(this), .parent(), .parents(), .closesest() etc.. [URL]
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am programatically trying to send multiple emails from within javascript code. The problem I am having is as follows:
- In one try - I am using window.location="mailto:"+emailList - this works great if it only needs to generate 1 email, but I am doing it in a loop. when it loops through the 2nd time, it does not create a 2nd email
- In a 2nd try - I am using window.open("mailto:"+emailList - this does open multiple emails, but it also opens multiple windows.
I am trying to find a way to either not have the windows open (only the multiple emails) or automatically close the extra windows. I am including my code below - note - the window.location try is listed, but commented out.
if (emailListArray.length > jsNumEmails) {
var j=1;
for (var i=0; i<emailListArray.length; i++) {
partialEmailList = partialEmailList + ";" + emailListArray[i];
if (j == jsNumEmails) {
//window.location="mailto:"+partialEmailList;
window.open("mailto:"+partialEmailList, "temp", "height=5, width=5, top=0, left=0");
j = 0;
partialEmailList = "";
} //if
j++;
}//for
}
// if anything left in the partial list, then send that separately
if (partialEmailList != "")
{
//window.location="mailto:"+partialEmailList;
window.open("mailto:"+partialEmailList, "temp", "height=5, width=5, top=0, left=0");
}

I want to insert url in textbox1 and Anchor in textbox2

One A href tag with the inserted url and anchor
One [url] phpbb tag
I want to find a way of using canvas tags that are created at runtime. I went about this by trying to change the id of the tag, ONLY to find out that javascript did not like the fact that I was using numbers, even though I converted to String first...
var count = 0;
for (var item=0; item<20; item ++) {
if (count%5==0){
document.write(" ||| ");
}
var canv = document.createElement("canvas");
canv.setAttribute('width',300);
canv.setAttribute('height',300);
num = 505;
aStr = num.toString(); // does NOT do the job for some reason !!!???
aStr = 'canvas'; // this works...
canv.setAttribute('id',aStr);
document.body.appendChild(canv);
count += 1;
}
var C = document.getElementById(canv.getAttribute('id'));
if (C.getContext) {
makePlot(C); // does the plot to the canvas
}
I implemented some coding tor create a random image on the page with a corresponding 'alt' tag and all was fine for a while...Then I got ambitions and modified the script to generate code that would generate two seperate sets of random image and associated 'alt' tag pairs.... and all seemed fine for a while....... however after having used the code on my page for a while I notice that occasionally I get a broken file link to the image which then fails to show... and shows the 'alt' text of "undefined".All the code links to images are correct and all images DO show from time to time with the tags.... only occasionally this extra blank/undefined pair is generatedHere's the code...

Does someone knows how i can show/hide multible divs at one click?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a webpage that contains a ton of php code. Every so often I need a jquery to update a few areas of the page. I can make a separate jquery for each div tag but it would be a lot simpler if I could update each using the same jquery. This is my code for updating div tag predators.....
<!-- Only updates single div tag. look into updating multiple div tags in same jquery-->
<script src="[URL]"></script>
<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
$("#predators").load("predators.php");
var refreshId = setInterval(function() {
$("#predators").load('predators.php?randval='+ Math.random());
}, 9000);
$.ajaxSetup({ cache: false });

The big question is; is it possible?
I wanna make a form that receives: textbox URL And textbox Anchor
And result will be two anchors one <a href, and one phpBB

I have several pages, all with multiple select boxes. Each select has a different name, but contains the same values (ok, not ok, fixed, needs fixing). I am trying to write a single script that will loop through each select box on the page, find all the 'not ok' values, then send the select box name, with the option value to a holding area (probably an array) which will be emailed to someone once all the pages have been entered by the user.
At this time, I am just trying to figure out the looping through one page of select boxes. The script is currently tied to an onclick event for the submit button.

The application I'm working on dynamically generates a HTML table like the one below. Having identified that I need to add an opening <tbody> before the first TR that contains the word "Diagnosis", opening + closing TBODY to all other TRs containing the word "Diagnosis" & Closing </TBODY> after the last closing TR?
<ADD OPENING TBODY HERE>
<TR class=group>
<TH colSpan=7><SPAN>Diagnosis

I've got an issue with the attached file.
I have 3 buttons & 3 divs.
I would like to hide/show the relevant divs (into a container) based upon the button pressed. If no div was open, then it would simply open the relevant div, however if say div 2 was open and div 3 was pressed, div 2 would toggle closed then div 3 would toggle open.
I've got each individual div opening and closing, but I'm stuck at the next point (checking if a div is open/toggling etc).
Im trying to make two sets of drop down menus for a date. Lets call the first set of drop downs Birthday. Birthday would have a drop down for months and a drop down for days. The second set would be called Graduation date and would have a drop down for months and a drop down for days. When you click on the months drop down menu and select a month in the listing, the days drop down automatically fills in how many days are in that month. The trouble Im having is when I have just Birthday on a page, it works with the javascript. But, if I try to put Birthday and Graduation date on the same page only the first set of drop downs on the page work.
I tried naming each separate "select id" and it's corresponding function in the javascript, but what ends up happening is the first set of date drop downs work on the page but for the rest of the date menus, only the "months" work and the days do not populate.

I have to stuff multiple objects in global var populated in a foreach loop and seperated by a comma.The loop is:

I would like to simplify some of my jquery code.I have multiple add functions:
Code:
<table1>
<form>
<input type="text" name="title">

With this when you click the first one it works but not the second.I worked my way around this but I had to increment add like add1 add2 add3. Now this creates alot of code in my javascript and html.
I have a choice when creating a new API that I would like other peoples opinions on. Do I use a single Array or Multiple arrays such as: array[1][1] = "ID[56]NAME[Hello World]START[10]"; OR
ID[1][1] = 56;
Name[1][1] = "Hello World";
Start[1][1] = 20;
The API is used for animations so is very heavy work, but would using around 15 multidimensional arrays be too much and a single one be preferable???
I need help in creating a multiple value cookie when the user clicks the Add to cart input button. Here is the portion of code from the html page that creates the inventory item display and the Add to cart button. There are six of these on the page:
<div id="inventoryspread">
<div class='productBoxInvUL'>
<script type:"text/javascript">
document.write("<img src="+"'"+"images/"+arrImage[0]+"'"+"align='left'/>"+
[Code]....
The cookie only needs to include the Item#, Name and Price of each item to populate a shopping cart page.
This is only a small student project and is client side only using javascript.
Any script I can look at to do something very similar to this? [URL] I need to be over to mouse over various images at the bottom and have the 'main' image change to different backgrounds or images. Another similar example is [URL] - I'd like to be able to do that as well.
