Changing Seconds To Hours In Timer?

View 1 RepliesI have developed a application in jsp. I need to achieve a count down timer(days,hours,minutes,seconds) between from date to todate, considering below cases. All below are assumed
(1) I have 4 product, for each product i have different end date stored in mysql in DB.
(2) I need to calculate time time remaining for the end date for each product, for eg;
Product 1 end date : 10/05/2010 (i need to show the time remaining for the end of 10/05/2010 from current time and date). Like wise i need to show for different products.
I have to get the hours, minutes and seconds between 2 timestamps. It´s for a reminder, so I get in a click the actual time. The time until the job is finish is 30 minutes.
var d = new Date();
var stunden_aktuell = d.getHours();
var minuten_aktuell = d.getMinutes();
var sekunden_aktuell = d.getSeconds();
[Code].....
Do you know how to get the hours, minutes and secons between this stamps?
to add minuts and seconds so can change the background ex. 07:45:00 instead of just hours only.

I have a page "v.php" which got an iframe that shows different pages for 3 seconds after they have loaded. There is a page "w.php" that needs to be shown in the iframe but it needs to be shown for 10 seconds after it's loaded. How can I make so "w.php" freezes the timer for at least 10 seconds and then let it start?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to adapt a script I found online for a timer that goes in my webpage. The timer counts from 30 seconds down to 0. I've adapted it so that when it reaches 0 it goes back up to 30, but I was wondering how can I make it so that after a certain number of loops through the timer, it executes some other (non-JS) code instead of just doing the timer forever?I've introduced a variable t to try to do this, but when I put in if(t>1) {break} at the bottom, the timer doesn't work properly anymore (it doesn't display a number in the box).
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a problem I can't figure out on my own. I want to create a JS/AJAX function which counts down for exactly 10 seconds (for example), and then it performs an action - calls a .php file, and loads its content in a div element.
The main problem is - users can simply edit the JS and set the 10 second timer to 1 second, for example.
I wonder if there is a way to work this out in JS? I want the 10 seconds to be "set in stone".
I guess I could achieve similar effect by using database, and comparing the time when script started/ended.
Im putting together a pair of countdown timers that need to restart every 24 hours. One restarts at noon and the other at midnight. Im using Keith Woods plugin @ [URL]
So far I have been able to implement his serverTime function to sync to the servers clock and instantiated 2 countdown timers. so far so good.
What I need to do now is 2 things:
1. I need to define today + X hours to countdown to instead of setting a exact date like in this example:
var noonCountDown = new Date();
noonCountDown = new Date(noonCountDown.getFullYear() + 0, 5 - 1, 28, -12);// 2011, May, 28, 12pm
2. Once today is defined dynamically I believe that may just solve the problem and reset the timer. But I may not be thinking clearly here. So I guess Im just wondering if this is how you would go about making the countdown restart upon completion.
Here is my code that Ive got so far:
$(function () {
function serverTime() {
var time = null;
$.ajax({url: 'http://www.localhost.com/projects/countdown/servertime.php',
[Code].....
I was wondering how I can make the page refresh after the timer has reached 0 for X amount of seconds? Here is the code I am using [code]...
View 1 Replies View Relatedi found a script that starts counting seconds from 0 till x. i wanted it to display the seconds in mm:ss (minutes : seconds) .. now i only get "NaN:0" (NaN for minutes and 0 for seconds). this is how i ended up : [URL]
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a simple little code script and I'd like either the onClick function (or the entire code itself, whichever is easiest) to only load once every 24 hours for each IP address. So "123.1.22.333" should only get the effect of this code once every 24 hours regardless if they revisit my site 5 times a day let's say.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to edit one small thing in the javascript below but cannot get it to work correctly
What I am wanting to do is have the time with a 0 before the hour all the time except for 10, 11 or 12 o clock (e.g 09:00) I tried adding the following code it works but only for AM time and not PM time: -
// Pad the Hours with leading zeros, if required
currentHours = ( currentHours < 10 ? "0" : "" ) + currentHours;
Heres the code:
function init ( )
{
timeDisplay = document.createTextNode ( "" );

I've looked around the web and tried to find a Javascript Countdown, however, the only ones I could really find were the ones that countdown to a particular date [code]Problem is, it counts down to a particular date, and I don't want that. The reason why is because everyone's time will be different, and I want it to be a "global" countdown, fr an event happening on a website (like the launch of something).Is it possible to, other then going by date, go by days/hours/minutes/seconds?So if I enter say, 2 days, 5 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds, it'll start counting down EXACTLY 2 days and 5 hours, and not change per people's time zone?
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a jquery plug in that will make it easy to enter Hours of Operation ( to indicate when a business is open) as a form element. My current solution is Egor Khmelevs Safari Style Slider [URL]..) but it will not jump to where you click on the slider, and will only allow selection by dragging the pointers.
Is there a way to modify this plug in to accept click events to set the pointers? Or is there a better solution for what I am attempting? My hours of operation slider is just like the last demonstration on that page, except it spans 24 hours.
I have the below form where the user enters the hours and minutes worked on a task. I want to be sure that the total for the form is at least 8 hours. How can I do that?

I want to validate the time field so that the user can enter the time more than 3 hours from the current time.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to figure this script out for awhile and I've hit a wall. Basically, what I want to do for my organization's website is to use JS to display an image containing our hours and have it change each day of the week.
The hard part (for me) is that there are certain days we're closed. Ideally, I'd like a separate "We're Closed" message to overwrite the image carrying our hours on specific days (major holidays like Xmas, New Years, Vet's Day, furlough periods, etc. etc.).
Here's the code I've managed to cobble together (I have a real basic understanding of JS, so I've been pulling scripts from sites offering free copy/pastecode):
[Code]...
For the most part, this code works just fine. However, if I jump my system clock to December 24, the "closure.png" comes up appears ALONGSIDE the hours image for that day of the week. In other words, I've got two images appearing right next to each other - that's not what I want.
How can I work the code in such a way that when a closure date comes up (in this case, 12/24), just the "closure.png" image shows up by itself?
I had a requirement in javascript.If I enter time as 12 it should automatically insert colon after hours and shoud allow user to enter minutes. First enter hours 12 while we are ready to insert minutes it should automatically insert colon as well as minutes.
function autoTabTimes(input, len) {
if (input.value.length == 2) {
if (input.value.indexOf(":") == -1) {
input.value = input.value + ":";
} var str = input.value.split(":");
if (str[0].length == 1) {
input.value = "0" + str[0];
}}
if (input.value.length >= len) {
input.value = input.value.slice(0, len);
input.form[(getIndex(input) + 1)].focus();
} return true;
}
The above code is working but it is not allowing user to edit the time back space is not working.
JavaScript function that looks at the time and only displays a chat button during available hours.Right now I have it set to only show the button from 8 am to 6pm. I really would like to change it so the button only shows from 8am to 5:30pm but I dont know how to do half hours.Here is what I have right now:
Code:
function validate_time()

Let's say you provide an online service from 7:00AM to 6:00PM Eastern
Time (daylight time in the summer). Is there way of showing these
hours of availability on a web page in the user's local time?
