Auto Sign In Without Having To Click On Link?

Aug 6, 2009I'm using a jquery slider for displaying content on a webpage.

Like in the first examples i have 5 panels, and i have a meta navigation, contact, links ect. all thedifferent content for the meta-navigation is displayed via jquery in panel 5, and is working fine.
Now my question; when the user is for example on the second panel, and the clicks on links, the page should show panel 5 (which is the index page(default.asp)), and then show only the content for the links.
I tried different stuff for loading the defautl.asp page, but it doesn't work. how do i tell, that if i click on the link wirh class="kontakt" the page should load the default.asp, and THEN do all the jquery stuff?
Below is one example, what i tried, but did not work.

Feb 7, 2007I have content inside a DIV that I want to display only the first time the page is viewed. I'm assuming this can be done with a cookie and javascript with little difficulty.
So basically it needs to write the cookie and the code for the DIV on the first load and then anytime that person returns to the page, the source for the div is omitted.
I've been researching this for a while but just am not getting anywhere.

Change Link When Anchor Scrolls Into View?
Nov 2, 2010I have an Iframe which loads an articles html page with anchors at the start of every article. To the right is fixed div that has different article links. The customer can scroll down and read all the articles. I would like the links to change to active, visited etc. when the anchors come into view. I was thinking it would be something like this:

Haven't tried it yet because it dosen't take into account the visited state of the links so I figured I need some advice from the skript Gods.

Jun 12, 2011I use .append() and .prepend() to automatically add content to a existing html tag with id. In IE the function is working fine but when i viewed it using view source i can't see the content. When i tried it with Chrome, i can immediately see the content. Is there something i missed out?

How To Auto Height IFrame Content Script
Sep 27, 2010I'm making a wordpress theme that will have a SMF forum incorporated into one of the pages. I've decided to use an iframe that calls in the forum (which is in the same domain), after trying several of the auto height scripts, including ones I used before with success, I got nothing. I'm not sure if it's a wordpress thing, but the scripts I'm so familiar with just don't want to work. Since forums change their height with all the different pages, this is an essential script for me. The only script (a new one) that somewhat works is the following:

Now, this seemed to work just fine, but now the height of the page gets added the more I browse. If for example I go to a topic with a lot of replies (meaning, a long page height) and I browse back to the index page, that extra height isn't gone. You can see what I mean here: [URL]. I was wondering if there is something that can be done to this script to stop this and properly resize the iframe. The other script I've used was: [URL]. Call The Click Event Of The Link (anchor Tag) On The Click Of The Button?
Jan 24, 2011I want to call the click event of the link (anchor tag) on the click of the button. I used this code below in the click event of button to call links click event and it works fine in IE.

But, this doesn't work in Firefox. I googled a bit and found that in firefox, you have to do something more to achieve this behaviour. So, I ended up doing this on button click to work in firefox:

The above code does the click on link when I click on the button. But my problem now is that I have defined a link as

and when click is called and mailto links opens my email client, it somehow ignores the subject and body parameters of the link. It works properly when i actually click a link element. but it doesn't work when i simulate the click event by code written above. above dispatching event code somehow ignores the link parameters?
