I'm using this method of toggling which i found on webdevelopers and I'm having issues with trying to make two other toggles with in a toggle. This is the code:
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
So I'm basically trying to have three or more divisions above in the code, that I'll be able to click to show two more divisions that users can click on to show something inside their divisions.
I added this toggle peice to my web site, except the only thing is when you go to another page that haas the toggle on it it will rememeber by cookies what state the toggle is at.
Is there a simple way of just making it always closed? [code]...
I want to make the toggle button so that it will display the specific hidden container..for the example let say that i got all of these list of containers :
How we can modify this function in order to make it in use for many displays?
HTML Code:
For example! I have this code, the select with id=one is the main one whatever I select from the drop down list One or two or three , the other menue appear" with id=two or id=three.
I have a slideshow similar (albeit more sophisticated) to this example [URL]. However, I'm trying to make the slideshow accessible to all JAWS users, leveraging aria-live attributes appropriately.
The problem is this: I am using the fx: 'fade' transition (this is out in the wild and I'm unable to change it at this point). However, I have a hidden button that gains visibility on tab focus. When the 'next' button is triggered I need the cycle plugin to leverage NO fx at all or the screen readers will end up using the subsequent slide for reading content due to the opacity + display time delay with the fade fx.
Basically I want my slideshow to have 2 fx, one for the default behavior (fx: 'fade' for the pager links) which is fading from slide to slide, and another fx (fx: 'none') that is used to prevent aria-live issues with screen readers. Is this possible?
Am I missing something here? I want to be able to have more than just one button to toggle the drop function with different content. I'm using the test code below to set this up. Works fine if just using "btn" and "btndiv" but nothing happens when I add "btn2" and "btn2div":
I am using ASP validators and I have a contact form. I want to be able to have a phone and email radio button group. The email textbox also has a RegularExpressionValidatorIf the phone item is selected then I want the validation to be enabled on the phone text box making it mandatory while the email text box isn't, and if they choose the email as the contact it will be reversed.I want to be able to do this without having to do a postback.I already have the logic on the code behind and the enquiry object.also I am fairly new to javascript so I have been using mostly jQuery as easier to implement
How to make an image map link to another page AND open a specific accordion section?I guess I need a script that knows which area of the image map was clicked and not only navigate to page 2 but opens the section via slide toggle I need it too. Here is the the page with the image map (although image map version not upload yet so I have what will be uploaded below)[URL] ...and the page I need to navigate to based on the area of the image map clicked and also slidetoggling the div I need it [URL] Here is the image map:
I am new to javascript, and am having an issue, which I'm sure is elementary.. I found a script for expandable content, it suffices fine. As it stands, the script toggles images onclick. For example, whence the menu is collapsed, it displays "plus.gif" next to it, and when the menu is expanded, it displays "minus.gif" next to it.
Basically, what I would like to know is, thus: how would I change it to display text icons next to it? For example, in place of "plus.gif" I should like it to display "+" as actual text. I've dredged a number of places, however, I've found nothing. Furthermore, I cannot figure out how to do it.
I'm extremely new to jquery and trying to write a toggle function without using the built-in functionality. From what I've read, this should be a fairly straightforward exerciseHowever, I'm running an issue. My code doesn't seem to do anything. Not clear to me why because nothing is erroring out? Here's what I've got:
<html> <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> // we will add our javascript code here
I have a link and a div on a webpage. With the link I want to toggle the content (HTML) of the div. On toggle, I want to load the content from a PHP-file and I want it to load on the toggle, not when the webpage originally loaded (to reduce loading time on the webpage itself).
The file that is loaded on toggle doesn't have to be PHP, but it would help a lot.
Problem: This is essentially for a model number decoder. Several selection boxes full of coded information in a left column, decoded items appearing in right column. The 'decoded' divs will only show up when their coded counterparts are selected in the dropdown. The main problem is that I know nothing of Javascript.I have cobbled together enough stuff to get the "select box 1" to toggle the corresponding div, but have no clue how to get the next in series to toggle the next div. CSS:
I have several classes named 'ratings_colored'. They all contain a number from 1 to 10. If the number is below 5.5, the number should become red. If not it should become green.
The code below works, but if the first .ratings_colored is higher than 5.5 it will make ALL the classes green. Even the numbers below 5.5! I tried using the 'this' but it didn't work either.
I have two series of radio buttons...(call them Group A and Group B) and a Textarea.
When you click on any of the radio buttons in the A group, it automatically adds some text to the textarea, using a javascript onClick function.
When you click on any of the radio buttons in the B group, it appends another line of text to the existing text already in the textarea, again, using a javascript onClick function
What I need is to make the group B onClick act like a toggle, so if the associated text isn't there, it will add it... but if it IS there... it will remove it. Code:
simple JS which shows / hides a transcript on the page. I dont use Jquery because we are not allowed the library in our CMS. It works as expected in all browsers but IE - anyone know why it would fail?
Code:
// define a new function called addLoadEvent which takes in one param which should be function function addLoadEvent(func) { // assign window.onload event to variable oldonload
im using this toggle for a project, i have use it once, and it works well with IE, but then again, for mozilla, its not being displayed correctly after the first toggle, Code:
I never have luck in toggling divs with javascript, to which I am new. Not even with a single browser, let alone making it compatible with all major browsers. Also, I lack experience with client side codes. Code:
I have a page with the code below (you can see the page herehttp://thegamingmall.com/realsite/testing.html). I'm using the .toggle() function to show/hide a div tag. However you ALWAYS need to click it twice! It's driving me and the users insane.
I'm trying to get an A tag to toggle between hide and show when It is clicked, you can check the latest version of my trying here:psdesignzone dot com / jquery / d6tftoggle.htmlI'm trying to change the innerHTML I guess of the A tag to hide or show each time that specific element is clicked (i'll need this to work with other a tags as well)
I'm trying to build a table that has hidden rows below certain shown rows.
How would I modify this script so that it shows all of the hidden rows below a row, but not the hidden rows throughout the entire table?
$ ( document )
[Code].....
You can see the HTML table structure here, as well as it working with only 1 row. URL] I was able to get all the hidden rows throughout the entire table to show, but that's not what i'm looking for. I just want the hidden rows that are below their respective shown table rows.
I am using the SORT plugin and moving entries around on the page. After each move I want to "blue line" the list all over again. So, I figured I could toggle all of the TR's, which I have named with the same class.
