Can't Pass Script Value To PHP Page / Make It Possible?
Apr 26, 2010
I'm using the service from Maxmind (http://www.maxmind.com/app/javascript_city) to get user's postal code, what I wanna do is pass the value to the next page using GET function.. I am quite new to PHP, however I think I should name the variable first and call it on the next page right? But it doesn't seem to work.
Alright, I'm trying to make these variables pass through as a post, but it's not receiving any posts through the other side. When I use the GET method though, it picks it up.
I'm trying to create a simple checkout system that utilizes cookies to pass information from page to page. Currently, my entire script works fine except for the read cookie portion. I cannot figure out what is wrong with it. It has been validated and the syntax is fine; it just doesn't work. I use the function with the onload call on my html file such as:
I have parent page http://localhost/pc/rep/pc.php after the user enter the customer data, the user will press button to print it
then, call child page via window.open jar:http://localhost/pc/rep/my-ca/script.jar!/test.html
as you can see, they are belong to the same domain.
The user will select the lables that the program will printed, and the numbers of each one.
I don't know, how can I pass the data from child to parents.
parent.opener.document.forms.item(4).txtClaimTicket.value = 1; [permission denied for <http://localhost> to get property window.document from <http://localhost>
I have an webbpage, and in the middle of it there is an iframe to a php site. So i have used this code, so after some seconds the iframe will send the guest to another page. <meta http-equiv="refresh" traget="_top" content="5 url=http://mypage.com"/> But the thing is that i want the WHOLE page to reload, and go to that page after 5 seconds (we can say). With that code, only the iframe are going to another page. Is it possible to make the whole page send the user after some seconds, to another page and not only the iframe?
i want to make a iframe page that loading a page from other site. I have try "jQuery iFrame Sizing" to set auto height in iframe... but it is failed.
This is my code : ------------- on Head <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/iframe.js"></script> on Body
I've two pages(forms), page2 pops up when we click on page1 form button A or B. On page 2, user can only fills out the TextBox 1 or TextBox 2.
After submitting the Page2 Form, I want to pass the value of Page2 Textbox 1 or 2 to populate on Page1 Textbox A or B(if user click on Button A, value should go to Page1, TextBox A). code...

I have pagination enabled in my site using jquery. here is the pager code i am using to display my page numbers, next and previous buttons etc. Everything works except that when I click on a product to view the product details and hit a back button i have in that page to come back where one came from, it always takes back me to the first page.
What i mean is if i view a product from page 2 instead of taking back to page 2 it always takes back to page 1.
I am wondering if in passing the current page number to my back button, so it remembers the page where it came.
click on any image and hit the back button, it always goes back to page 1.

I have a form with allot of form items on it that posts to itself. I am trying to pass those form values to another page with out using the action attribute in the form. Is there a way to do this? I have tried jquery and javascript but coming up blank. Just trying to pass all the values at one time to another page. Seems a little difficult to me since im a intermediate javascript programmer. Here is what i am trying to do script wise. theform is the ID of the form. I have a switch statement that is based on the button pressed would get into that statement. So if one of the three buttons on the page is "excel report" it should get into that statement and pass the values of the form to another page. I have tried this:
Hi all.Am new to this forum so cut me some slack if I don't articulate my problem with utmost clarity. My problem is that I have a javascript function such as:
function modReg(x,y) { <!-- var answer = confirm ("Do you really want to deregister user" +x+"?") if (answer) { document.leo["id"].value=x;
[Code]...
Now, leo is a hidden form with the 2 fields namely "id and "two".Viewing source, I see that the parameters I need are well acquired by the function. In next page, I haven't been successful at retrieving the passed parameters.
I am trying to get to where the info from products_page.html in the forms is displayed on order_form2.html at the top above that form, depending on what product is selected. Right now I see parameters in the URL, but do not understand how to display them as they should.
Question 1: How can i transfer the slider value to another page?
Question 2: I am using the price value in the slider from my previous page using the [VarName,S] variable. It shows the first time price value successfully as it brought from the previous page but once I slide forward and than slide back the value initiated to 0 instead of the value i carried from the previous page. How can I retain the min price value to the value i carried from the previous page?
How can I pass form data from a form on one page, to a form on another.
Here is what I need exactly:
I am working on the following website code...
This means that the user will have to enter information for other fields but not for those already filled afetr data was passed on from the previous form.
My page has a form (HTML) and what I would like to do is that when I click on submit, the variables or text inputted in the FIRST NAME FIELD, LAST NAME FIELD and ETC would show in the second page.
every time i try something it doesn't work for me :( god why is this javascript so hard to make it work... anyway, i just followed the guidelines to pass values from one page to another using ? and it simply, like always, DOES NOT work .
