Cannot Pass Login Info To The Next .asp Page(s)

Here is the loginload script directs me to the following page upon Enter:

Now that step1.asp gets the user & pass variables and pass them to step2.asp page that way:

Nov 9, 2010I'm trying to create a simple checkout system that utilizes cookies to pass information from page to page. Currently, my entire script works fine except for the read cookie portion. I cannot figure out what is wrong with it. It has been validated and the syntax is fine; it just doesn't work. I use the function with the onload call on my html file such as:

Pass Value From Child Page To Parent Page?
Sep 26, 2011I have parent page http://localhost/pc/rep/pc.php after the user enter the customer data, the user will press button to print it
then, call child page via window.open jar:http://localhost/pc/rep/my-ca/script.jar!/test.html
as you can see, they are belong to the same domain.
The user will select the lables that the program will printed, and the numbers of each one.
I don't know, how can I pass the data from child to parents.

I need to pass some data from inside an iframe, to the parent page
I've got the parent page PAGE1.HTM which contains:

And, inside PAGE2.HTM I will set mydata to a hard string. But in page2.htm do I do
var parent.document.mydata.innerHTML = "my data here'
or
var window.parent.document.all.mydata.innerHTML = "my data here"
or something else...??? to be cross-browser compatible (IE and Firefox mainly).
Transfer Selected Checkbox Info To Another Page?
May 30, 2010I'm trying to figure out a script to transfer selected checkbox information to another page. I'm making a needs list for a non-profit group and the list is "huge" so I thought it would be nice to have something where the viewer could have a list of the items they checked to donate instead of printing out or transmitting the six pages for the entire list.
I found a script in the archives from 10/2002 that "Adios" wrote in reply to an inquiry. It is real close to what I want but it involves transfering graphics instead of the text information from the checkbox. I've been working on it for several days but cannot get it to work. Here's Adios' script:

I would like to also include a print function and submit. The print feature is not a big issue as the viewer can print from the browser but I thought it would make the transferred information page a bit more snazzy and they will have a record of thier selections. On the submit I don't have a URL setup yet but if you could put something like "URL HERE" in the script placement I can change it when they get up and going.

Delay In Setting Cookies - Does Redirect To The Next Page Which Grabs The Info
Nov 18, 2010I have a page which takes information from a user. When the user clicks the "send" button, it stores data in a cookie then does a javascript redirect to the next page which grabs the info. I don't want the data to be present in the URL on the next page and the site is supposed to be put together without the use of PHP (the 2nd page is a confirm page that sends the data to Web Services).
This has been working great for everyone who has tried it, but there are a handful of complaints that users will not get the information they expected on the 2nd page. My question is, as I'm trying to debug this stuff, is it reasonable to think that the cookie may not be properly stored in time for the redirect to take place for some users?

When the form is to be submitted, the form data needs to be emailed to the correct person to handle that particular application. However, that can't be determined by anything specific in the form. It can only be determined by the link that they clicked on to get to the form. I really don't want to have 22 identical forms with just a different EmailTo addie, which is what the previous site developer did. Someone please tell me this can be done w/java script? So i made a bookmark with this javascript injection, that fills in the info, and focusses on the 'aanmelden' button (='login' in dutch), so that i only have to press enter to continue. My problem is that when they click on a link, I need to pass a variable "id" through the link. I dont want to pass it in the url, but I want to pass it in another way, for every link the id is going to be different. How can I pass a variable to another page and how can I retrieve it in that page so I can use it for the content loading?

May 16, 2011I have pagination enabled in my site using jquery. here is the pager code i am using to display my page numbers, next and previous buttons etc. Everything works except that when I click on a product to view the product details and hit a back button i have in that page to come back where one came from, it always takes back me to the first page.
What i mean is if i view a product from page 2 instead of taking back to page 2 it always takes back to page 1.
I am wondering if in passing the current page number to my back button, so it remembers the page where it came.

Question 1: How can i transfer the slider value to another page?
Question 2: I am using the price value in the slider from my previous page using the [VarName,S] variable. It shows the first time price value successfully as it brought from the previous page but once I slide forward and than slide back the value initiated to 0 instead of the value i carried from the previous page. How can I retain the min price value to the value i carried from the previous page?
