Refresh Google Map Inside A Control Panel?
Feb 11, 2011I have a javascript which loaded a google map on button ckick.. If I click the button again the map is not getting refreshed Is there any way to refresh the map?

I'm trying to get a template field inside of an ASP.Net detailsview control inside of an ajax updatepanel to work with the jquery datepicker. Very frustrating! I'm using VB with VS 2010. I can get the datepicker to work fine with a simple text box inside of an update panel but when I put it inside of a detailsview control it stops working.

The many panel disappears when the mouse moves out. I think it's quite neat and I'm hoping to be able to do something like that with jQuery.

JQuery :: Use BlockUI Inside User Control In .NET ?
Oct 1, 2009I am a ASP.NET developer and I would like to use the jQuery BlockUI inside a generic control, designed to show a popup (with javascript and CSS effects). My problem is to disable (key tab, enter and mouse clicks) the parent window (parent element) (my control is inside the page and does not use iframe). Inside my control I have a DIV and I show his content when the user call the method designed. The problem is: I only see the "caller" of BlockUI using this type of eventhandler "CLICK", ex:

It is possible apply that property inside the blockUI out of my DIV (parent element), inside my control, without click ? Is it necessary to use a iframe?

Mar 6, 2010I tried to do a loading bar during the computation of the data of my google map, unfortunately without success for the moment. I use the load function serveral times but never with a google map / javascript, that's probably the problem linked to it. Here is my 2 html pages : 1- dynamicmap.html 2-googlemap.html.
For information, I worked with Django, the googlemap.html works very well when I used this "outside" the dynamicmap.html ... I tried to add the function "initialize()" as argument to load function. Ajax :: How To Refresh Just One DIV Inside HTML Page
Apr 5, 2009I have a simple chat on a web page, but It wont refresh itself unless the user refreshes the whole page and I cannot force the page to totally refresh itself cause that would mess up the other things the user can do on the site. So I would need to make the DIV to "load itself again in for example 3sec". I believe this is quite common thing to construct, how to construct this?

I need to show the section inside an iframe (iFrame1) on the mainpage (mainpage.html). I am thinking of having 4 buttons, sitting on the mainpage, to help navigate between these sections on pageX, namely NEXT, PREVIOUS, TOP, END.condition of the frame, fixed width/height, no scroll, no border.Very new to javascript but need this code to make a page work for BIZ.

Apr 7, 2011I'm not sure where I have translated this incorrectly. I have one google map embedded on my page which works fine. But I wanted to add a second one. I thought the easiest way to do this would be to have a second page which is called later on with all the details on it for the second map. However although I think (this I presume is where I went wrong) I have replicated the instructions correctly the place holder for the second map just remains blank.

Refresh Parent From IFrame Makes Refresh Loop In FF Only?
Jan 2, 2009I have this code in a page that appears in my iframe if requested from parent:

The parent code is:

So, the person clicks a link from the parent, it does a php process in a hidden iframe, which then tells the parent page to refresh. The only problem is that it puts Firefox in a constant loop of refreshing. IE and Chrome work fine. They refresh once and stop.
Though the src code opens the iframe like so: <iframe src="" style="display:none; height:1px;" name="hdplus" id="hdplus"></iframe> Firefox seems to refresh the page with the memory of the child page being in the iframe, constantly looping the child request to refresh the parent.
Why won't Firefox just accept that no page should load in the iframe, as stated in the code? I need to stop this loop, which means I need to get firefox to reset the iframe as it reloads the page.
