Making External Website Target Iframe
Nov 20, 2010I have built a basic website that contains an iframe in the middle, called "iframe1". In this iframe I wish to load an external message board from proboards.com. In my code I can easily do this by making a button or hyper-link with the href="http:proboards.com/myforums" and the target="iframe1".When I do this it will load inside of it the iframe jsut as I want it to. However, my the problem is when you click on the button to login its coded to target "_top" and it opens on the entire page replacing the whole website. If i run firebug (a real time HTML editor). I can easily locate and change the link code to target="iframe1". But How can I write a script in javascript in my webpage code to do this as soon as the iframe has loaded the external messageboard?

For some reason the code only works for IE, is there an easy way to get this code to work for other browsers such as Firefox or safari?
Javascript Calender?

page.. and on the side of the input box there is a link called
"calender", when user click on that, there is a new calender opens in a
new window, displaying two monthes of date, then when user cilcks on
the date, it closes the new window, put the date into the input box in
this format: yyyy-mm-dd.. i heard it's something to do with:
href="javascript:OpenCalendar()".. not too sure though..

Oct 7, 2011i have used Jquery Calendare which works well. for that i have used "jquery-ui.min.js" and "jquery-ui.css" Library File. i can show the calender, show the current date. Alsoi can highlight the task set dates. But what i cant do is, when user click on any date, i cant get the event. i want the user to redirect to another page with selected date. but i am not able to get event on the date. The vierd thing is, on blank area of calendar i get the event, and also i can get the selected date value, but when user clicks on date, that time i dont get any event. Jun 10, 2005There are a lot of extremely smart members here, so I thought if the knowledge is out there, this would be the place to tap into it. I have included the code below that I am working with. What I want is for a person to enter their name and room number and coffee preference. Then a cookie will store that information and tell them a cup will be sent to them at their room. When the page is loaded again their preference will be remembered and they will be offered a discount for their favorite coffee. This is part of a self taught book I am studying.
Most of it works, but I think the selection of coffee from the radio button is not being stored in the cookie, or at least I can not recall it. I was also wondering if there was some way that I could combine the makeCookie and welcome functions so that there would only be one button to click on the page. Code:
