So far I am able to create the doc and copy to clipboard for pasting using the c[code]...
What I would like to do is create a new word doc and populate it with the created document. I've tried with no success using activeX etc. The best I could do was to open an existing word doc, but could not populate it. I need it to open a new blank word window, as it is not practical to have a specified word file already there.

May 28, 2007i'm not really sure how to explain this, since I know nothing about javascript, so i'll try and illustrate by the use of php (hope it makes sence)
I have a set of different links, like:

<a href="link.com?page=text2">text 2</a>
<a href="link.com?page=text3">text 3</a>
etc, where page is dynamic and can be anything I chose..
Another place in the same document, I echo out what the page variable is, like:
echo "$page";
so when clicking "text 1" the echo will output what i've defined the page to be, in this case "text1" ..
So I want to be able to click the links and change the output of the echo all depending on what i've defined in the link - without refreshing the page!
Is there any easy way to do this?

I want to let users to print an automatic generated image from a web page.
the problem is that the image is big (little smaller than A4) and if I print
the page from "File --> Print" the image is automatically resized or printed
in more than one page, if I set the page properties from the File menu I can
reduce print margin and cut off header and footer, and then it works fine.
So I would like to set page properties form javascript to let users print
the image with right dimensions.
