I am trying to display the year in two columns vice the single column. I know I need to create some master table, but the more I mess with it the worse it gets. display the previous and following year in the same format. Here is the code.

I want to create an array for a religious website that will display a different Bible verse for each day of the year. This is how I incremented each day of the year.

How do I make the connection between the array and the new date as it changes?

I used a switch to go through the days of the week, but to go through the days of the year seems more difficult.
I use this:

This is what I need:
I'm developing a website for a private railway, and wish to display a 'today's trains' panel on the front page of the site - there are up to twenty timetable diagrams, each of which has its own small html page file.
I need to figure a way of calling a different timetable panel to be displayed according to day of the year (ensuring that the correct timetable is displayed each day). Obviously I have a copy of the complete timetable, and it seems I need some code that will call a particular page according to what's happening that day.
Does anybody have any idea how a simpleton like me can set this up?

For example, imagine that one column contains city, another state and the third contains zip code. I could assume all 50 states in the union, however the actual data might also include Puerto Rico and the US Virgin islands. Or I might assume every zipcode in the US, however the actual data might include zip codes for Canada, etc... For this reason, I would like to populate the drop down menus dynamically.

At my job I constantly need to be up to the moment on the weather, and I want to create a display that will combine important elements from different weather services onto one screen that I can hang on the wall. What are need are basic <div>'s from several different sites. I know I could use iframes but I don't want to display entire sites, just the elements I need from them. Then I want to be able to have some DOM control over them (e.g. setting refresh time for each element).

(28.7 x A1C) - 46.7 = eAG
(46.7 + eAG) / 28.7 = A1c
It could be a two function javascript or two separate javascripts, I am not that particular as long as it does what I need it to do. The way I would like to see it work is you type the number you have into a field, and press a button to convert it. If it was a two function javascript you would have to select the conversion type you want do first.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Java form where I need to be able to switch a drop down with a text box using Javascript. The change would be made depending on the radio button choice the user makes. The drop down is the default form element and radio button A is checked by default. So when the user clicks radio button B the text box should appear and if they change their mind and select radio button A the drop down should come back.
Whats making this a little tricky is that I'm doing my form validation using Java via the form element name. So these two will have the same name. I need for the drop down to be switched off/disabled if they have radio button B and vice versa. Is all this doable using javascript?
I have created a form with malsup's Form Plugin wherein it submits on change of the inputs. I have set up my jQuery script to index drop down menus and visible inputs, and uses that index to determine whether keydown of tab should move focus to the next element or the first element, and likewise with shift+tab keydown. However, instead of moving focus to the first element from the last element on tab keydown like I would like it to, it moves focus to the second element. I need to calculate:
so i want a background that changes each day. and ideally i wouldn't be using an array for this.. and instead could just do something like...

with the images in the same directory being named 01.jpg for jan 1st, 031.jpg for jan 31st, etc. etc.
but i know nothing about the syntax or structure that that would require. i think my non-working example should at least explain what i want to accomplish... can someone tell me how i can do this? i know it's possible... i've seen every part i need in other scripts, and ten different ways to do it, but i just don't know how to make them all work together without getting a bunch of errors... :(
p.s. this is actually on my windows desktop, not a website. it seems like some scripts won't work in an html set as the desktop background, but will on a webpage.
