how to create a table in javascript to display entered textbox values
i have a dropdown list where a user can select, 'Yes','No', and 'Other'. What i need to have happen, is that if a user selects other, i need a textfield to appear so the user can enter a custom variable. does anyone have code for this?? Code:

I have two questions. First i want to display (WinNetwork.userName) NT LOGIN into the textbox. Is there any where i can link both Javascript and textbox. Secondly, when i open the html have i first get warning the internet explorer page im trying to open have activeX. Is there any where i can stop that popup aleart from being displayed.
The simplified code below works, and should give you an idea of what Im trying to achieve. The final version will have dozens of input fields so you can see why the below method stinks :D

Each text input will have A or B written in by the user, which should automatically place that letters associated ID in its partner field. If any other letter is entered the ID will automatically be left blank.
With the above code I'd need to repeat it over and over for each of the dozens of input fields. The final version wont be using simply A/B either but around 50 possible inputs each with their own ID which would make around 1000 possible variations.

I want to create a rectangle with a line in the middle with the canvas object. The problem is that the line in the middle gets bigger than the rest of the rectangle. How do I solve this? I believe it has something to do with shadows. If so, how do I turn them off.

1)i need to create a form with few fields like phoneno,website,address etc and one text area.
2) i copy n paste the details in the textarea n when i click d button. it should automatically populate things into the respective fields.
here s my logic wt i taught of:
1)read the first line in the textbox and load it into contact person field.
2)find the @ symbol and put it into the respective field and if there are more than 1 mail id load it into the same feild using commas.
3)if the phone no is 10 digits then load it into the mobile field else load the rest it into phone field.
4)find for words like road,street,block,stage,floor etc,if present then load it into the address field till the last comma is encountered.
5)the last digits in the address should be loaded into the pincode field.
6)the last word present in the address after the last comma and before the hyphen should be loaded into the city field.
7)find for www or http and load it into the website field,if not found leave it blank.
I have a text area that the user enters information into this text area then becomes a string and is displayed. Currently if the user presses enter it shows in the test area as a new line however in the string it is only a space. How can I get the string to recognise and display the enter as a new line.

I need help finding where an error is occuring in my code. I use a
try-catch block like this in my global.asa:

But I don't know which path is not found! (I'm using the filesystem object
and importing data from a file into SQL.) Is there a way to display the
line number of the error or more details? Or do I just have to try to catch
the error by going through each bit of code?

If I have a div that's 300px by 20px, is there a function that calculates whether a string will display with a line break, given font-size of 21px? If not, I'll have to create some code, but if it's already available, that's even better
