I made a quiz using radio, grouped with different names, my problem is that, I want a situation at which the visitor that takes the test will not be able to change the answer of an already answered question. Code:
i have a list of 10 radio buttons all with the same ID=R100 i need a javascript to select (checked) say the 4th radio button AFTER the form is created.
I have a radio group that, when a certain option is selected, it makes the radio group disappear and a textbox appear. It works great in Firefox, but it appears to be glitchy in IE.
<script type="text/javascript"> function showRestaurantTextBox() {
I have a form with 4 radio buttons, the scenario is, when a user click on a radio button a hidden content will be displayed and the other three radio buttons will be disabled so that at one time a user can only click and view single radio button and the hidden content.Here is my code to show hide the hidden content but i need when the user select one radio button the other radio buttons should disable.
I'm trying to create a group of radio buttons that enable user to select whether to maintain the current image, remove the image or upload a new image. If user selects maintain the current image or remove the image, the upload field will be disabled, when user select upload a new image, the upload field will be enable. My script is as below but I do not get it work correctly, do you have any advice for me?
HTML Code: <script type="text/javascript"> function Disab() { frm=document.forms[0] if(frm.change_voucher.checked) {frm.img_voucher.disabled=false} [Code]....
I have 2 groups of radio buttons..I can manage to make one set be disabled via a selection.. but i can only get this right with the VALUE...Is it possible to use the radio id to do the same?Just use the link below for they jquery
I've got 2 groups of radio buttons (one is a set of options, the other is a range of payment options). When certain options are selected, various payment options are enabled/disabled. How can this be done with javascript?Here is what I would like to see:
When option 1 is selected, all payment options enabled. (none disabled) When option 2 is selected, payment options 1, 2, 3, 4 are enabled (5 & 6 disabled) When option 3 is selected, payment options 1, 2, 3, 4 are enabled (5 & 6 disabled) When option 4 is selected, payment options 1, 2, are enabled (3, 4, 5, 6 disabled)

above is the code of quiz which is created in php. that quiz is fine. the problem in in js script above the php script. what i want is when the time of 5 mins is completed then i want to disable all those radio buttons except submit button.
I'm trying to get the following code to work. It's fine if there are only 2 sets, but once you add a 3rd or 4th it breaks. making a choice of either regular non-member or student member & then changing to another choice fails to disable the last button and also fails to clear selections.note that it is not a requirement that i use radio buttons for the disabled/enabled choices; they could be checkboxes instead.
Code:
<script language="JavaScript"> function Disab (val) { if(val=="0")
I would like to disable a check box depending on whether 1 of 3 radio buttons is chosen by the user. As I am a js noob, I don't have any beginning code to start with.
I have written probably a rigged way of disabling and enabling fields and radio buttons. The only problem is that when i add the radio buttons to turn on and off the input fields wont work any more.
<script language="javascript"> function enableField() {
I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...
I've been testing using the code below but wondered if anyone had any ideas on how this could be done easily?
I need to be able to check all group 2 checkboxes and disable them from being unchecked when checkbox group1_3 is checked. Unchecking group1_3 checkbox will uncheck all group 2 checkboxes. Does this make sense? Is this possible with Javascript? If so, can anyone suggest how?
I'm trying retrieve the value of a radio group, which ever button is selected I need to assign a value to a var. I can't seem to get this right, I'm not even sure if I'm going about this the right way. Here's my code.
//the alert is just to see If I'm getting a value to start with. function validateOrder() { for (var i=0; i<document.getElementById('Size_rg').length; i++) { if (document.getElementById('Size_rg')[i].checked) { return i; alert(i + 'you got a value'); }}}
I use this function to find the value of a radio group:
function valButton(btn) { var cnt = -1; for (var i=btn.length-1; i -1; i--) { if (btn[i].checked) {cnt = i; i = -1;} } if (cnt -1) return btn[cnt].value; else return null; }
I however found an incompatibility with Internet Explorer, when the radio group name contains brackets. For example, the radio group name is 񟡂[a]'. The Ms Script Debugger stops on btn.length, saying that it is null or not an object. You may also want to know that it works well in Firefox and Safari.
Does anyone knows any way I can get IE to digest this? Do you know another way to acquire radio group value?
I have created a little script that is supposed to add another item to a radio group and set the new item as selected if none of the other items is selected. It works on initial load of page, but if I press refresh, the checked value of the radio group shifts one place to the right on each reload.[code]The code has some special names and labels.. Thats just because it comes from some generated code from another application.
For some reason when I try to submit my form in IE8 it doesn't get past the radio group.It keeps asking me to select an age even after one has been selected. Validation works but it's not picking up that I have selected one of the items within the group.
I'm working on validating radio buttons in a form. I want to require that a button be selected from required radio button groups before accepting the submit. Not all the radio button groups are required to have a selection.
One problem I'm having is that I can't return the name of the radio button group. I want to switch case on the name of the radio button group.
I do have an id for each individual radio button, so I can confirm that the for loops are working, but my alert tells me that radiogroups[j] is an [object] and radiogroups[j].name is undefined.
And there is a problem with the logic, too. If just one of the radio button sets is checked, the form validates. Code:
Im trying to configuere a form that a.a radio buttons that allow the user to choose between quarters, nickels, dimes and pennies and show image when click on my radio button.how to get the image to display whenthey click on the radio button?
how I can make each radio button call a different page. For example If i click on radio button 1 and click submit it will take me to [url].... and if I click radio button 2 and click submit .
I have a set of radio buttons each with an onclick event that has a numeric value. When the button is clicked an input box called "Total" is updated with the new value. The problem I'm having is that if a radio button is checked and one clicks on it again then the onclick event is triggered.
Is there any way to prevent the onclick event from triggering if the radio button is already checked?
I have 3 radio buttons with the same name ("myradio"). The value of each is a different URL (eg. value="http:[url]...)I have a link underneath these (<a href="#">Send</a>). I would like the selected radio button's value to be inserted into the href of the link, and if the user selects a different radio button that this changes.
So I need to create the equivalent of a radio group without using the name attribute. A radio group is just makes one radio selected at a time and this is automatically done if all the names are the same but that isnt an option for me. Here is an example of a normal radio [URL]..
I have looked up and researched many ways on how to do this but I haven't found an exact solution. I have tried to make my own script for this but I just can not remove the check from a radio button after it has been clicked.
