how to automatically redirect to a fullscreen page? i googled it but everything ifound don't work for me.. don't know why. all of those codes just open a popup with half a page width and height. And i need it compelety like when u click F11. no any other detail. and i need it to work on Chrome.
I was wondering how to write the following, using the redirect or replace: I want to make a sort of automated slideshow, only with web pages.
you would have an array of URL's (say 10). I have a main frame containing an iFrame, in which the URL's should appear, one after the other, with a delay of say 5 sec. so, it would instruct "redirect to this URL, wait 5 seconds, then redirect to the next in the array automatically, till the end of array.
Also, it would be cool if you could set the delay time specifically for each loaded URL...?
Right now, after 5 seconds, it redirects to google...
Goal 1: display errors above the form on same page
Goal 2: direct users to a new thankyou page when form is submitted.
The form uses ajax. I am able to get it to work with the error messages displaying correctly but as is, the thankyou message also displays in the same spot and the form is left filled out. I need it to direct to a new page I designed for the purpose.
I want to redirect my page to the EXACT same page the user is viewing. Kinda like window.location.refresh(), but it refreshes the page, means it empties some part of the cache and will reload images. I want it to simply open the page again, exactly like when I click a link refering to the same url. I've tried reload(), but it doesn't reload either.
I am new to javascript but I can usually get examples of simple scripts I need to work, but can't figure this one out. I am trying to link to this page (link1.html) from another page and I want to password protect it. If the password is correct, I want to automatically link to another page (link2.html).
The reason I am trying to do it this way is if I don't I get a message saying IE is preventing scripts or ActiveX from running. If I don't click to allow it to run then it will automatically display the content of the page (link1.html) I am trying to protect. I will make link1 blank and put my data in link2.
And I realize this is a very low level of security.
I want to redirect a page to another page in JSP after a certain validation has been done using AJAX. If the validation is done it should redirect the user to another page but if validation is not done then it should remain on the same page.
what i want to do is i need to make all clients to go through my custom .php page when they are trying to leave from my web page.this is to develop a billing system for internet access.i need to capture there time spent on internet.i need to direct them to my web page all the time they enter an url in address bar.each and every time they try to go to a new site by entering url in the address bar they need to go through my .php page.is that possible using javascript?
Can you set a <div id="box"></div> fullscreen after click() with jQuery? With fullscreen I mean that the browser fits just in the screen of the client AND the box with image as background just fits in the browser. Or even better (but probably not possible) the same effect like when you click F11 ...
Sometimes I see advertising (more like popups) of poker where the popup exactly fits the screen, so I guess my goal will also be possible.
I hava a snippet below. This code will redirect my current web page to http://www.xyz.com . . . But I want to specify the number of seconds before it is redirected. May I know how to do this? (As much as possible, meta tags should not be used.)
I have a form in which i have a dropdown list and a submit button. I want to code so that when users select the value from the dropdown list, it should redirect then to the specified page. For instance i have the value, "car", "House" and "pets" in my dropdown listbox, if a use click on "car" it should redirect them to the car page. I have done the following code, but something seems not to work :(
And in the submit button am calling the function move()
My form name is sell and the dropdown list menu is cat.
I'm trying to redirect away from a page using AJAX, and I'm having a tough time figuring out how to do it properly. From what I understand, an AJAX request thinks it's done when a script echoes something, so this is what I have, for the script run behind the scenes and the HTML with AJAX:
PHP: <?php Some code
[code]....
I think what's happening here is that the Location header in the PHP is overwriting the echo, since I'm calling the Run.php script twice, so the AJAX request never knows it's ready. This also means, I think, that I'm missing something fundamental about how AJAX works, and I'm doing the redirection wrong
I have a page that opens up a popup window after clicking a button. I want to test if the parent/previous page is a certain page when the popup window loads and if it is not then I don't want the popup window to open. I also want the page to redirect if a person just puts the popwindow address into their browser. I am working with asp.net vb and I am told javascript is the best way to do this. I know enough to open the popup window using javascript and that is about it.
I'm using Chrome15.0.874.102 beta-m, but this problem has been occurring since some old versions...I'm trying to open a popup with window.open, and I'm putting "fullscreen=no", but the window is opening always in fullscreen! And the size of the popup isn't higher than my monitor resolution. Here's the main code:
function popup_przyr() { var leftVal = (screen.width - 800) / 2; var topVal = (screen.height - 800) / 2;
I am looking for an option to resize a non fullscreen window into fullscreen mode.
JavaScript provides the well-known method "window.open(fullscreen=yes, ...)" to render fullscreen windows. However, I don't want to open a new window but rather want to resize a window ...in my case ones a user has clicked a button.
Is there any way to detect if the browser window is in full-screen mode via javascript?I've been googling this and not getting much luck. Found one function that doesn't work, the rest are just posts where a person asks this question and then others tell them how to do something without needing to detect if browser's in fullscreen mode.I have a requirement to do this. If a user w/ a certain role is not in fullscreen mode, I need to kick them out of the application (used internally, and no, I cannot change this business rule)The code that didn't work (always returns false):
Hey fellow coders. I've been searching for a script, but I'm coming up empty. The script will display products in a single row full screen left to right. To slide the products there is a pull bar. You can see how the exact script works on Keyboards.
I have a javascript countdown timer. It goes for a few hours. At the end, I want to dispaly "times up", wait 10 more seconds, and then redirect to another page. Is there a javascript way to do this, and would it work going back to IE4 and NN4.5?
