I have the following code inside an include file which is included in my index.php page. All of my include files are placed in a folder called includes alongside my index file and the file ajax_getusers.php. When I have tested out this code all in one page it works fine but if I put the first section of code below in an include and include it in my index page it does not work at all. Is therer any reason for this?
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> function showUser(str) { if (str=="")
I have some simple tooltips on my site that load the content of the "title" tag into the tooltip. I am currently using this plugin[URL].. I have tried several others. They all work fine for static elements, but the main content of my pages are loaded by an ajax load() call. The tooltips don't work on any this content loaded via ajax. Why is this happening and is there a way to fix this? Or maybe a tooltip plugin that will work for this?
I've been searching for about 3 days on this topic. I'm trying to get a template field inside of an ASP.Net detailsview control inside of an ajax updatepanel to work with the jquery datepicker. Very frustrating! I'm using VB with VS 2010. I can get the datepicker to work fine with a simple text box inside of an update panel but when I put it inside of a detailsview control it stops working.
I am trying to figure out a way to position the content that comes up inside of an i-frame. I believe that Javascript is the way to go, but I'm very inexperience in coding JS and wanted to see if anyone could give some insight.
I would like to make the pages that appear inside my i-frame to hide the top 20 pixels; something like a negative margin. The idea is that I could put a banner there that will be invisible when the page in viewed in the i-frame, but will show up properly if a user views the page outside of the i-frame. Does anybody know if this is possible, or am I on the wrong track?
I have an iframe and I load a html page with jquery code.I have 2 checkboxes and I have 2 div in this iframe. That way when someone checks the check boxes it will appentTo html code into the div.I was not able to run any code or get them working. So I just wanted to test if I can do it. So I wrote basic code which is this:[code] I tried that code above. I won't work. It was to detect if the input check box named hosting_Service is checked. If it is checked then it will have a popup window with a message saying ok.I put this code it and tried it. Nothing happens when I click the check box.
I am trying to set up some simple Javascript that takes the text value from a form submission (textarea A), and dynamically inserts that text into another textarea on the same page (textarea B).I need the text from textarea "A" to go in the *middle* of pre-existing text inside textarea B (instead of replacing it).
Basically, I am trying to animate the width based on the click of a div similar to an example I found online (jQuery Top Panel), and it seems to almost work.I can get this to go from not visible to showing, then to animating, but the problem is when I go to set my width to zero. What is happening is that it will show the contents just to the right of the div.
Please help me out dudes. It appears as though once I do an animation, I am unable to touch the css of a div and at the same token, when I set the width back to zero, this is showing the contents of the div to the right even though the div itself has zero width (and it actually appears to have zero width).This is the html I am using:
<div id="LoginSliderButtonShow" style="display: block;"> Login Here </div>
I have two other jquery scripts running (tipsy, and an opacity hover) I would like for both of those to target the content inside a pagination. but it just doesn't seem to work. [URL] is the url. the gallery thumbs on the right have the opacity trick down. but my items inside the pagination not so much.
how I can change the code below so that instead of all the fade in fade out stuff the function will actually replace whatever is inside a div called Myholder with the response this script pulls in?
I have the following code inside the <head> of my php file. What this code will do is change the style="display:none;" of a div element, depending on which option is selected within a combo box. Code:
i am trying to use As you see if u click control panel the content box is showing up but i cannot click any href inside the box (img or text). Can anyone help me how to fix this problem ?? it seams that the problem is inside class "closepanel".Here is css:
.ddpanel .ddpanelcontent{ /*CSS for "content" DIV of Drop Down Panel*/ width: 301px; height: 76px;
I've create a jquery accordian using the code provided in the main accordian page. It all works brilliantly, except when I try to show an image that will link to another page, the image does not show.
For example, In one of the accordion content areas, the code shows:
<div> <h3><a href="#">How can I get a price quote?</a></h3> <div>Simply click on the button below to open up Power Image's all-inclusive Quick Quote tool, then follow the prompts to enter your style, color, ink colors, and quantity. <img src="images/quote.png" width="100" height="30">When you're done, click "Total" to see your all-inclusive price! Additionally, once you get a quote in the Design Center, your price quote updates live under your design as you create.</div> </div>
When clicking on the header to open the content however, the image does not show. I have checked the location of the image multiple times, and it is right. There isn't even a broken image that shows where the image should be. What code do I need to add to allow images to be inside the content area of accordions?
I am writing some javascript that when the user clicks on a link, it hides or displays content inside a div tag. I have been trying to add some code that would only allow for one div tag to be displayed at a time.
Here is where I originally got the code [url]
Whenever I run this code I get this error:
This is the JavaScript that runs when the user clicks the link:
New to jQuery, I did many searches before posting. This is happening in both IE6 and Firefox 3.0.13. I've gotten the following script to work under strange circumstances (explained below first snippet).
I am trying to create 3 boxes with 2nd select box content to be uploaded on the basis of value selected in first box and third box list should be uploaded on the basis of value selected in 2nd box.i have written coding for that as below but it is not working .
I found an issue with using embed code and jquery's show()/hide () method. I am using embed code inside of a div. So it looks something like this: <div id="test"> <embed> whatever here </embed> </div>
Now on that I want a user to be able to click a button to show/hide the content. So I create a function like this: <script type="text/javascript"> function showEmbed(){ if($("#test").show()){ $("#test").hide(); } else { $("#test").show(); }} </script>
I then binded that to just a basic text link: <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="showEmbed();">show/hide</a> Now that works fine as far as showing/hiding the embed code. However, there is one issue with this. When I click the link it reloads the data. I do not want it to reload the data. Say for instance there is a video playing in there. If you click the link it will stop the video and when you click it again to show it will start again. How to get it not to reload the data.
